It looks awesome Lauren!! Are you going to put it in that setting?? It''d look really pretty! :-)
I''ve just dropped it off with my jeweler to have it set - both rings should be done on Saturday!

I had my jeweler check the diamond, and he looked under the scope, and said it was definitely a diamond, but then paused, and said "It looks too clean - I''m going to check to see if it''s Moissanite". My heart stopped right about then. He took it back to the workshop where he performed a few more tests, and came back exclaiming, "It''s a diamond, and a beauty at that!"

He estimated the clarity as a VS1, which the seller had said in the auction, but the colour came out to be a G!!!!! I''m just stunned - this seller has sold me a diamond I am extremely happy with! I''ll have pics for you guys by next Monday!

Thanks so much, Lauren. I appreciate your taking the time to answer.

The new diamond is exquisite ! ! Those antique stones are something else.

WOOOO-HOOOOOOO Lauren you picked a winner! I''m excited to see your new rings!!

LTP, you are the "Queen of Awesome Deals" (that should be your new PS name!). That stone and the ring are just breathtaking. I love when people can get a great deal!

AGREED! I love when a jeweler can verify a diamond/ piece of jewelry for you without giving you a sales pitch. He seems like a great jeweler to work with!!!

My LOGR ring for my Moz tourmaline was shipped out on 9/30 and the tracking information just stated that it passed U.S. Customs. Does that mean it''s in the U.S.? Sorry, probably really stupid question.

Lauren, GORGEOUS OEC - truly beautiful!

For those of you who bought the pave eternity - three sided - is it comfortable to wear?

Thanks.

Hi Jane, not at all! His name is Kingkongcrowder, both on Pricescope, and on Ebay. He doesn''t have a constant supply of antique diamonds, unfortunately!

He sources diamonds from pawn shops, and resells them to jewelers. He always carried a pair of digital calipers with him to make sure he''s getting a great deal. He found this OEC in a man''s ring, but the diamond has a lot of it hiding under the bezel, and the pawn shop was selling it as a .40 ct.

Well, his jewelers don''t care for antique diamonds, so whenever he finds them, he lists them on ebay.

He''s an awesome guy, and I would just contact him via Ebay to see if he might have any more OECs up his sleeves.

I just ordered mine for my 7mm cushion cut sapphire, can''t wait to get it.

BTW, I woke up this morning to find that I WON the LOGR setting I bid on. I was 1 of 33 bidders. I won it for $238. They usually list it for $279, so I save a little bit of money!

I hope it works with my kunzite!!

Cushioncutnut,
Are you going to upgrade to VS diamonds and/or 18K gold? I won an auction and he let me upgrade to VS diamonds. Are you going to do white, rose or yellow gold (no upgrade fee for switching out the gold).

Congratulations on your auction win, that''s spectacular. I think the kunzite will look awesome in that setting, but that''s what happens when you combine a beautiful setting with a beautiful stone.

In order to expedite my order, I thought I would take a chance and forego VS diamonds. I have no problem with SI1 diamonds as long as they face up eye-clean and sparkly... I am a happy camper. Based on everyone''s reviews of thier settings they received from LOGR, I think I will be quite pleased. I just hope that a jeweler doesn''t charge me an arm and a leg to set my stone. It would defeat the purpose of getting a beautiful budget stone and setting....

YAY, cushioncutnut, your gorgeous kunzite will look amazing, I can''t wait to see it!!

Dan Stair emailed me last night, he has cut a pink tourm for me to fit my LOGR setting... it didn''t turn out quite the colour he was expecting, so he offered it to me for less than half what I told him I wanted to spend! And what''s more, from the pics anyway, I LOVE it!! It should be here early next week. Yippee!!!!

I mentioned PS through an email reply to him after I won my setting the other day. I told him that there was several members who were quite pleased with what they received. They have answered all my questions/concerns very promptly. So far I am impressed. Thanks Lauren! I hope you don''t mind, but I mentioned your name specifically!

I sure don''t mind CCN! I''m just glad to have found this resource we can all use!

And Jane, I hope not, too! Honestly, I think he makes plenty in volume, but I have noticed prices inching up on BINs. I just wait it out for auctions.
