Venus, Lotus Ring in 18k Gold and Rose Cut Blue Rainbow Moonstone....The rose-cut rainbow moonstone you see here comes from Sri Lanka, and is natural, untreated material, cut specifically for our design. The rainbow phenomenon occurs in response to the stone''s orientation to light, so you see it shimmering and appearing as the ring moves. We''ve named this version of our Lotus ring "Venus," as it looks like a celestial body.

I saw the Venus on sally's site, it looks awesome! I'm tempted, but I think I'll just stick with the lotus I currently have, maybe down the road I"ll get a moonstone ring to stack it with.

Here's the thread with my 5mm lotus ring, I love how dainty it is! There are some hand shots, and BrownEyedGirl posted handshots of her lotus too with a much larger stone.

Got my 2 rings from Sally and they are utterly amazing. The attention to detail is phenomenal and her exquisite packaging is an added bonus.
No pics yet as we are in the midst of a typhoon seriously. The worse weather we have had in 20 years so no outdoor photos yet and i need sunlight to make garnet look amazing!

Thanks loriken we are fine and dry but have 8 months of rain in a day! All our beaches lost all their sand and a man was killed sitting in his office when a awning broke loose and smashed through his window. Terrible any way now the sun is shining here are my rings .First one is a 2.33 Morogoro Garnet from Rick at Art cut gems. I was a little flat about it as of extinction and is definitely NOT a night time stone but Sally said it is amazing day stone with "The areas of extinction look beautiful in the sun. Almost velvety ... you can enjoy these as part of its uniqueness"

I know, right?! It freaks me out. I have had it happen with a 14k white gold ring and a 14k rose gold ring. I have heard it happens to a small percentage of people because of a skin reaction to the copper (oxidizing?).

ETA: the white gold didn't bother me until the rhodium wore off, so I would be able to avoid green fingeritis if I keep plating it
