Beauty!!

I love the gentle curves and lace overlay - you must be over the moon!!

It''s lovely

Wow!!!! That dress is totally made for you. Gorgeous!

You look gorgeous in it! I can''t wait to see it after all the alterations are done.

So, I just had my first alterations yesterday!!! I'm doing a french bustle with the dress (looked better to me than the regular with the lace and everything), but the alterations are going to cost 280 because the hem needs to be done, it needs to be taken in, bustled and bra cups put in. I expected it to be alot, but it still hurts when you see the price of the alteration!

I'll be sure to post pics of the post alterations in September when I get to see it again!

WOW!!! That dress looks like it is made for you! It is absolutely stunning! Can''t wait to see it when it''s all done!

It''s beautiful Sweetpea!

it''s a gorgeous dress, sweetpea! and you look very pretty & charming in it!

I just had my 2nd fitting today!!! Here are the updated pics -- it fit perfectly, and the woman is just going to complete the hem and clean up the areas where she took in material from the top, then it is finito!!! It''s bustled in all these pics...

It looks great!

I love the side view, sweetpea! It looks just lovely on you!

Thanks IG and Harleigh!!!

I''m starting to think jewelry now ... I have a bracelet that is tighter to cover most of my tattoo on my left wrist (in the process of removal, so it''s not very attractive anymore, long story) and I have the same earrings as JCrow, although I have a veil with some blingy detail and a headband tiara...I was not going to wear a necklace, but now I''m thinking of wearing something like a solitaire CZ pendant and matching stud earrings rather than the chandelier''s...what do you think?

I''m planning on wearing my hair 1/2 up half down...

I''m also having a shoe issue...my shoes are heeless and I''m finding the crinoline under the skirt ends up under my heels when I walk and I''m afraid I could trip or something-- should I get different shoes, while I still have time to get them dyed? Did that happen to anyone else??

Hi sweetpea...you are very welcome, but you DO look gorgeous!

I think a simple necklace and earrings would work best, but what I''ve found is to try it BOTH ways and have someone take a picture of you and THEN make your decision. Sometimes I think something looks great, and then I see myself in a photo and HATE it. Not the best advice, but there you have it!

As for the shoes, I would definitely consider getting something a little higher...there is nothing worse than tripping all over yourself, especially if that situation could have been avoided by a simple fix of another pair of shoes. Do you HAVE to get them died, or could you find a pair in a similar cream color? I think that would be easiest, but who am I to say???

Am I of any help at all? Sorry...I am way tired tonight!

Thank you again!!! Actually the shoe issue is that the crinoline gets in between my heel and the heel of my shoe, kind of like when jeans do that in like sling back shoes or something like that...I"m thinking I should maybe get a shoe with a covered heel part to it, rather than a strappy heel...The heels themselves are 3" -- I like being 5'10" usually haha. My shoe description wasn't very clear...

I think I could def use cream or ivory shoes, my dress is champagne with ivory lace over it...

Ooohhhhhhh...now I see, and I DETEST that problem, so I would definitely consider getting a different shoe! How about a closed-back pump, but with an open peep-toe? That way you could still have the open-toe look of a sandal and avoid the crinoline catching? I am off to find some for you...

ETA: Here's a few...

Victoria's Secret

Are those too out there???

Sweetpea!!!! It looks fantastic!!! I haven''t even had my first fitting yet! Craaap. The seamstress has it, though. Crap. I love the bustle on it!, the side view is beautiful. Hair up or down?

I think those are all cute, but I have to stick to 3.5ish inches since that''s what I started with for the fittings : ( Thank you though for looking, I''m limited by heel height unfortunately...

WHat do you think of these? They''re "Desire" by coloriffics and come in ivory satin so I wouldn''t have to dye them..

Thanks, Amber!! I''m going to do my hair half up half down I think, not sure exactly yet.

When are you doing your fittings?

Aww, crap! I of course forgot about the heel height! Mine are over 4" high, so I guess I just don''t even think when I see 4"! Sorry about that, but the coloriffic ones you posted are actually very lovely, and they seem to keep with the elegant lines of your dress!

I say GO FOR IT! They will look fantastic!!!

Oh it looks absolutely stunning. I love the lace and the ivory colour. Its so romantic.

Thanks RoseAngel! I''m gonna hit the department stores first before ordering online to see if I can find anything a little cheaper (those are 80) and maybe buy those in a week!
