I thought these were pretty, but then realized they are kinda funny as you can see my reflection in the gem all the time

I enjoy this view - the inclusions are interesting and kinda pretty imho..
but I had to make these pics smaller, as they make my fingerprints look massive, lol!

That cab is amazing in the sun. I actually love the inclusions in it. I want one some day too. What did the vendor pic look like?

LOVE the new pics - so clear and crisp! I''m not a cab fan, but there''s something very aesthetically pleasing about the shape of that one, and I love the translucent quality - it''s not all milky, and you can really see into the stone. The spinel''s prety cool too - sometimes it''s fun to have a different cut, expecially once you''ve already gotten all the basic shapes.

Ya, with my love of longer cushions, when I saw that shape in the cab I decided to grab it.

Actually, I''m pretty far from having a big collection, and could still do with at least a couple more shapes in my "precision collection" (who couldn''t right)

- an emerald and a step cut square are the next to come, with any luck.

Yep, love high crowns on gems and especially on my old cut diamonds too; I haven''t "met" you before, it would be fun to see some of your work some time.

sarah, I don''t really have any plans at the moment, but I think the cab would make a nice pendant..perhaps with a brushed metal finish? We''ll see, I need to complete current projects first

btw, I know you mentioned they do not work with outside gemstones - do you think this would also apply to diamonds?

nothing more on my ring yet.
I don''t know if they would set your diamond, but do ask them.
