Now I really did it :((

Happy friYay!

Under the category of it’s always something I’m heading to my dentist friend this morning. On her day off. Why do these things always happen Thursday night? and :(

Sorry quick post and run
We had a great cycling day yesterday. Ran into friends near the end of the ride and that was fun too. I’ll be back tomorrow to catch you all up if you’re interested. Have a wonderful friyay!

Leaving you with pics from yesterday

Happy FriYay

Ugh, sorry to hear of your dental woes @missy, hopefully you can get it sorted out today.

We only used to get cars serviced annually in the UK @marcy, when fluids were changed. I was surprised to find here that you need to change the oil every 6 months and rotate the tyres. That was something else we never did. Cars are so complicated these days! Oh no to Marty having cancerous spots removed, hopefully they’ve got it all and they’re taken care of. Yes, we’re thankfully back to double digits, it’s actually cooler this year at this time than last. Our friends were here then, and it was boiling hot.

8 degrees @canuk-gal, whoa. I hope everything goes well for your DH.

Despite saying I was getting our things packed on Monday, things kept coming up, so I ended up doing it yesterday. Colin sorted out the vitamins etc., and today is a busy cleaning and laundry day. I don’t like to go away, even if it’s just for a few days and leave things undone.

We’re leaving early tomorrow, no direct flight to our friends, so it’ll be a long day, and in the evening we’re going to a Cole Porter tribute concert. Should be fun.

If I’m not around for a few days, you’ll find me in Iowa

Have a great weekend lovely NIRDIs
:wavey:

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Austina safe and fun travels.
@missy sorry about uncooperative teeth!
@marcy hope your DH is well taken care of.

I rode myself this AM--a bit brisk, but DH and I just went for a walk in 20C temps. Lovely. He has been working like mad (or as in the old days). Contract work tends to be laborious due to time constraints. Anyway.

cheers--Sharon

Good morning from the stormy jersey shore. Ophelia is making herself known. Happy Caturday Saturday!

@Austina thank you and enjoy a wonderful trip. I am with you. I like everything in its place before I go away so when we get back it is nice to come home to...a clean and neat everything in its place house. Safe travels

@marcy I am not a mint fan in ice cream but I am sure you enjoyed the delicious Andes mint ice cream the other day. I feel bad for your friend too and hope she makes a full recovery despite the awful care she has received to date. Sweet you did some videos and wow what a pretty double rainbow. Nice

@canuk-gal glad you enjoyed a brisk walk yesterday but sorry your dh is working so hard

@bling_dream19 happy weekend

@Slickk hope you enjoy a wonderful weekend despite the not so wonderful weather

Hi everyone else. Happy Caturday Saturday!
We had a whirlwind of a day yesterday. Went to my dentist and she re-cemented the temp crown. Then went cycling and then had a telemedicine appt with my parathyroid specialist who is not licensed here and technically not allowed to help. Crazy right? Luckily she doesn't care about stupid laws. But unfortunately this is out of her wheelhouse. She kept saying how rare hypophosphatemia is. And yes it is. My drs are all stumped and do not understand this. But because I feel well she is not concerned. LOL easy for them to say. Anyway that is my medical update.

It is super windy here as it was yesterday but the rain is torrential and the winds are in excess of 70 mph. Feels like a nor'easter but it isn't. Not officially anyway.

For @marcy here is our latest rainbow. Very fuzzy

Lastly a photo of the calm before the storm. Literally. We are expecting four stormy days here. Wish we could give rain to those who need it. Be safe. Be well.

Enjoy a wonderful weekend XOXO

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!

@missy stay safe and dry. Sorry your crown fell off--I had that happen with a temporary and used vaseline to "recement" it until I could get to the dentist. Worked so well he had trouble getting it off!!

@Austina hope you guys arrived safely.

@marcy hope your weather is decent and none of the "S" word. It was very foggy here this AM--so weird we never get fog in these parts...

The fog lifted then I went out to cycle. Saw the cutest little fluffball puppy--cupcake-- was her name LOL. I wanted to stuff her in my coat and take her home!!! I got to pat her sweet little tummy..... :kiss2:

Did some errands and got Pho. I really need to do the dishes.....but nah.

cheers--Sharon

Hi NIRDI’s!

@missy your pictures are fabulous as always. What a vibrant rainbow. Our phones do take great photos. I hope your tooth is doing better now. That is nice of your doctor to keep up with you and it’s so nuts these silly laws. Sorry your doctors are stumped. Stay safe from the storms.

@Austina that’s funny how different car maintenance is In different places and different times. Plus, I guess all-wheel drive cars can only rotate from back to front. Marty’s once cancer spot is healing well and he goes back sometime soon to get the other one cut out. He’s had quite a few cut out over the years. Enjoy the cooler weather. I cranked on the furnace this morning. Reminds me I need to go put it back on AC. Have a safe trip.

@canuk-gal no white stuff here yet except more eggs tossed our way. See below. It is brisk in the mornings though. Glad you were able to get out in it.

The rotten teenagers egged our house again last night. There were 4 of them this time and they got it all over the side of our house. Marty power washed it and it is all stained. He’s very, very quiet right now. I posted the video online to our community FaceBook page and someone messaged me who 3 of the 4 kids are, but how can I prove it? You know how poor infrared quality is. My hope was at least one of their parents would see it and do the right thing. Given, no one has knocked on our door and apologized and offer to pay for damages, I guess that’s why the punk kids are the way they are. The person who messaged me is a teacher and said she had to text their parents and threaten to file a harassment charges against them because they were ringing her door bell at all hours of the night. Their parents must be real pieces of work too. My blood pressure was pegged last night and Marty was already asleep. I turned off the TV about 10 and heard the damn eggs hitting again. I have no idea why we are their targets.

We went out for breakfast and I just ordered us steaks on Door Dash. It’s insanely windy here today. I bet the power wash was fun in the wind. I worked 5 hours getting a tedious chore done and finished a video. I won’t hit 200 hours this month. See I’m working less.

Take care.
Marcy

HI:

@marcy I'm very sorry for this repeat offense! No wonder your DH was silent--very upsetting. Those perps need a power wash!!!!

PS if your DK needs a good probiotic for his guts--I'd recommend Bio-K.

cheers--Sharon

@marcy I’m so sorry! I hope they are caught. I’d bring the tape to the police. And the names you have.

@canuk-gal thats ingenious. Vaseline lol. I did ask my dad if I should get something at the hardware store to cement it myself lol

I have an unhappy update. My mom has Covid. She’s very immunocompromised so I’m surprised she did not get it earlier. I’m very concerned for my mom and 89yo dad. I’m sure he’ll get it because he’s not isolating from her. Plus I’m sure he’s already been exposed :(

@canuk-gal and @missy thank you - it is so irritating. Marty set up his astrophoto gear but is still in the back yard. Punks!

@missy I am so sorry you mom is sick, I hope she gets better soon and your dad doesn’t get it.

Good morning from the very stormy Jersey Shore lovely ladies and happy Sunday!
Some photos for your viewing pleasure. Not the best photos and they don't convey the fierceness of this storm but it's what I have

You''ll have to take my word for the waves crashing the deck too close for comfort because I couldn't capture how rough the surf was and how high the waves crashed

Thanks @marcy praying they make it through this. It is a serious matter at their age and my mom was vomting and coughing non stop so much she hasn't been able to start the Paxlovid as she doesn't want to throw it up and waste it. They made it through the first three plus years of the pandemic and I guess it is pretty much inevitable we will all get it but I am very worried because my parents are old and have serious underlying medical conditions. Hoping for the best

Good morning everyone else. Another stormy day here. And a few more after today I believe. Stay warm and cozy and comfy and be well and enjoy the rest of the weekend. XOXO

HI:

@missy I'm sorry about your parents and Covid. No fun at all. Healing vibes across the miles. Oh and your weather looks menacing! Those waves!!!! Stay safe!

cheers--Sharon

@missy so very sorry to hear that your Mom has Covid, and I'm sure your Dad will have it soon. Very scary situation for your elderly parents, and I can imagine the worry you are feeling for them. Sending you hugs and healing vibes to your Mom.

Thank you dear Sharon, much appreciated.

Thank you very much @finerthings hoping for the best but unable to do anything which is frustrating and worrisome.

Good morning lovely ladles and happy stormy Monday!
We had a good day yesterday and actually went hiking in the rain. Yes we are crazy lol. And we went to the beach too and wow. The east wind driven rain felt like hail when we were on the beach and believe me we know what hail feels like lol. I took a video but it was challenging as I was getting pelleted in the face with very sharp horizontal rain and wind speeds over 50 mph. So as you can imagine the video is quite crooked because I had to cover my face to protect myself from the hard rain so it was sort of a "blind" video. Anyway I will download it later if it is worth it. I shared photos in another thread but here's a few below.

Photos don't do the storm justice

Meanwhile on the bayside all was peaceful and calm due to the east wind being blocked. It was a wild contrast

Hi NIRDI's!

@missy I hope your parents are doing better. Any illness is rough on our loved ones especially in their golden years. Keeping them in my thoughts and sending healing vibes their way. That is quite the angry sea by you. Last year at this time, we were in the Outer Banks when a hurricane went by. We didn't have that high of tides though, but got quite a bit of rain.

Not much new with me today. My work list keeps growing, but I did manage to cross lots of things off the list. I even got my annual photo Christmas card ordered today. They were 70% off and this year I wrote a smaller version of my Christmas poem on the back instead of writing a full page and printing it out on Christmas letterhead. Then I ordered a big box of 5x7 self-stick envelopes. Yay. I'm ahead of the Christmas rush already.

Poor Marty is researching how to get egg off the side of the house. He can't find any good answers. I should start a thread. Maybe someone knows. I am so agitated by it, that when my "Karen" sister was on a rant about something, I unloaded. Bad, Marcy. I haven't heard from her the rest of the day. I wasn't mean to her, but didn't agree with what she had to say. Oh well, too late now.

Marty got his birthday present - a new astro camera - so he's outside sitting it up now. Did I tell you he dropped one of his cameras on his cement pad the day he power washed everything? He said the sensor was tilted now on one corner. Poor guy.

Take care.
Marcy

Good morning girls and happy terrific rainy windy stormy Tuesday!

@marcy thank you, I appreciate your good wishes for my family. One day at a time. Sorry your work list keeps growing but yay for accomplishing so much. And wow, Christmas is around the corner with the way time is flying by. Not ready lol. Ugh about the egg on the side of the house. Makes me angry on your behalf. Not to sound like a broken record but I would go to the police with all you know. You do have some names. And the video. I am so sorry you are going through this. Sweet birthday gift for Mr Marty. Niiiiiice. And happy early birthday to him. I hope he is feeling 100% better now. And boo to your friend who got bent out of shape when you did not agree with her. We don't have to agree with everyone about everything and too bad she didn't like it. Don't let that upset you

@Slickk happy rainy Tuesday

@bling_dream19 hope you are having a good week

Hey everyone else. The rain continues. We went hiking yesterday and again got pretty wet lol. Saw some lovely scenery and had a good day despite the rain. Not letting rain stop us. Nope. No way. If we waited for good weather to do stuff we would never do stuff. :)

Some photos from our hike yesterday for your enjoyment. Have a lovely Tuesday and be well. XOXO

Good morning girls. Happy wonderful I hope Wednesday.

So my dad fell yesterday at 3AM and went to the ER with my mom who has Covid! Anyway she was wearing an N 95 mask but we made her go home.

He was finally admitted to the hospital from the ER at noon.
We spent the day with him at the hospital and none of the nurses there were wearing masks.

And fast forward to the evening his PCR test finally came back from the weekend and it was POSITIVE!!!!

So despite the hospital doing the rapid test and feeling secure he was covid negative (and despite us telling them my mom had covid and despite the fact he was coughing the entire time) he tested covid positive and the nurses freaked out because they were not protecting themselves. Who knows who was infected because of him yesterday. I did give him an N95 mask but he took it off after an hour as he was on oxygen and he could not tolerate the mask.

I am so worried for my dad, my mom, the staff (despite their foolhardy behavior) and now for us. Because while Greg and I were wearing masks we were not thinking as clearly as we should have been (out of overwhelming concern for my dad and the entire situation) and so I did get very very close to him because I could not hear him (he's very weak) and we were there the entire day. I mean he is my dad. I couldn't distance myself from him. Who knows how long he has left. I'm so so worried. :(

So that is our unhappy update. My poor dad, 89.5 years old is alone now at the hospital in the Covid ward and I do not like this hospital in Brooklyn. It is very chaotic. We cannot transfer him and I am super concerned. And now concerned about Greg and I getting Covid which seems almost a given as this new strain is SUPER Contagious. I mean the available studies show it is the most contagious strain. And incubation period is 2-14 days. :(

Never never never a dull moment by us
Be well and enjoy a wonderful Wednesday lovely ladies
XOXO

What a mess @missy ! I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad, falling and now with Covid. I hope he did not seriously injure himself. Hopefully you and Greg will be fine since you were wearing N-95 masks all day. I guess the hospital was following proper protocol by giving him a rapid Covid test, but it certainly points out the failures in rapid testing results and how false negatives put everyone at risk. I'm not sure what else they could have done other than automatically assuming he had Covid because your Mom has it, and I guess in hind sight that would have been the best move. What a nightmare for all concerned - staff and patients. Sending you, Greg and your parents good vibes, and fingers crossed that you and Greg will remain healthy.

HI:

Oh @missy I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's fall! ;( I hope the hospital takes good care of him and that he recovers soon. Ya'll must be worried!!! Glad you guys wore your N-95's. Keep well and in touch!!!

kind regards--Sharon

HI:

@marcy sorry to hear about your DH camera being damaged over egg-gate. And that your property is damaged. Hope you find a solution (literally) for the egg stain problem.

cheers--Sharon

Oh no @missy that’s a terrible update. I’m so sorry, firstly for your dad and the worry and injury his fall caused. Secondly, what a double whammy to have him now Covid positive, especially after spending the day with you and G. And, of course, there was nothing else you could, or should, have done but be by his side. I’m sending all the dust to you and yours and hope that you are and remain healthy, as I think your dear parents will need you more than ever. Sending loads of ((hugs)) and ❤️

Hello to all the NIRDIs. Just muddling through each day until I can retire. #kiddingnotkidding

Hello lovelies

Oh no @missy, I’ve just got home and logged in and I’m devastated to hear your news. I’m sending lots of positive and healing thoughts to you all and praying that everything will turn out well.

I’ll check back in properly tomorrow, we’re absolutely zonked.

GM girls and happy terrific Thursday. TY all for your well wishes for my dad.

@finerthings thank you so much for your kind wishes for my dad

@canuk-gal thank you sweet Sharon

@Slickk thanks so much and yes, exactly. I had no other choice though I wish I was more aware of the covid issue because with my worry for him I wasn't focusing on being super careful and so while I wore a mask I was close to him most of the day and let him use my phone too since he didn't have one. I did spray alcohol on it afterwards but had nothing to dry it with and well I have a bad feeling about this. I do think Greg and I will get covid now. But just praying my dad will be OK and so will we all

@Austina welcome home and glad you are back safe and sound and looking forward to hearing about your trip

I spoke with my pulmonologist yesterday and she doesn't want me taking Paxlovid should I get covid. She said they are seeing 60% rebound with Paxlovid despite the medical literature stating lower numbers and that the rebound is worse than Covid. IDK what to do if I get Covid now. She is a well respected intelligent pulmonologist at Columbia Presbyterian in NYC. I will take it one day at at time and if my symptom get bad I will probably try to get paxlovid. Though I am paying attention to her recommendations. Only if symptoms get bad will I take it. If i get covid.

We spoke with the hospital dr yesterday and it's too long to go into here but the short of it is him having Covid complicates everything. They cannot send him to in patient rehab which is what he needs because he has Covid. So they want to send him home in a day or two. But he cannot walk or stand so we are holding firm that we will not take him home. They cannot discharge him if he has nowhere to go. My mom is sick with Covid and cannot care for him and he cannot walk right now. So nope. We will refuse to take him home. Period. IF he improves by Sunday maybe but we shall see. In the meantime my niece is going with my sister and BIL to ithaca to see Cornell (my sister's alma mater) and so they won't even be around til Sunday. They cannot postpone the trip because my niece has to decide soon but also Cornell is having a special weekend for prospective students this weekend so it's now or never. Timing is unfortunate but that is life

A dear friend is in town this week and weekend and we are supposed to see her this weekend. And now I am so concerned as I do not want to get anyone sick. Our friend knows the situation and we shall see how Greg and I are feeling this weekend. Obviously if we have symptoms we won't get together but if we don't have any symptoms and we test negative (though we all know the rapid test is not as accurate as we would like it to be) we will get together. Outside only and wearing masks in the car. Sigh. Timing really really sucks here. We were so looking forward to the visit

We did get out yesterday to cycle and we stayed away from everyone. And told everyone we saw to stay away from us. The funny thing is no one seemed concerned to be near us which was so strange to me. J, M, and S all said they are not worried about getting Covid. What? I do not understand people. I am very worried lol. OK that is my update. BE well and enjoy

Love autumn at the shore. Everything is so crisp and beautiful and wait til the leaves start changing. It is really something here when the leaves start turning colors

Hello lovelies

@missy, I hope your Mum has improved enough to take the Paxlovid to help her get over Covid. You know it worked miracles with Colin, he felt fine really quickly and has had no rebound effects at all. How’s your Dad doing, did he injure himself when he fell? The shock of falling is certainly traumatic for the elderly, and testing positive has really complicated things. You’re right to stand your ground about the hospital releasing him, how on earth are they supposed to manage when your Mum is ill and your father is infirm? I’m keeping everything crossed for you and Greg to stay negative, and of course, for your Mum and Dad to make a full recovery. Naturally, you’re worried sick, who wouldn’t be?

Ugh @marcy, those little vandals, I’m with Missy, I’d take the footage to the police and let them deal with them. I’m afraid I can’t offer any advice on how to remove the egg stains, sounds like it’s going to be a repaint job, and those yobs should have to pay for it. What sort of parents bring up hooligans like that? :angryfire: I’d be mortified if I saw the video and realised it was one of mine, I’d make them work off the cost of sorting out the damage.

How’re things with you @canuk-gal ?

We had such a great time with our friends, we picked up right where we left off, and we hadn’t physically seen them for years. We went to the Cole Porter concert on Saturday evening, which was lovely (or rather de-lovely  ). On Sunday, we went to an art gallery, then had ice cream before heading back for dinner. L had choir practice in the evening, so we were treated to viewing all of the paintings S has been working on, then we were singing (very badly) until she got home, as S plays the guitar and insisted we accompany him. On Monday we went to the Amana village nearby and wandered around, then when we got back, we played pool. I’ve never played in my life, so was worse than useless! Tuesday, we went to the Herbert Hoover museum, then had a picnic at a local beauty spot. We played pool again in the evening, and I hadn’t improved at all, although I’m not sure I was any worse (which would’ve been difficult!!). Yesterday, after breakfast we started the journey home. In between, we talked and talked and talked and stayed up late.

I can’t remember if I mentioned it, but we should be receiving the compensation cheque on Monday/Tuesday from the car debacle, so it’ll finally be over.

Sending warm and healing vibes to all.

:wavey:

Hi NIRDI's!

@missy I am so sorry to hear about your dad falling and you mom having COVID. Keeping all of you in my thoughts.

@Austina it looks like you had a fun and busy trip catching up with some friends. Glad to go for a visit and glad to be home. I can't agree more about those hooligan's parents. I thought of putting a snapshot of them in the paper and offer a reward for their identify. I seriously did. I might call our insurance agent too, he probably knows of all sorts of things going on in town the rest of us don't know about. I'd bet he has a contact with the police too.

Not much new with us. We helped the library host a telescope session / star party on Tuesday night. I'd say there were about 50 people there. It was kind of fun, but limited viewing from downtown, street lights and trees. Marty got out his RV and set up his 20" telescope and then ran one of his cameras through his iPad showing the moon all night. One of my former students works at the library and she was trying to use their scope, but wasn't having much luck, so I sent the crowd over to our scopes. We saw a trail of Starlink satellites that night. As an amateur astronomer, I hate to think how much those thousands of satellite are cluttering up the sky, but it was cool to see them.

I got more videos done this week. I'm also expecting cookies from Martha Stewart anytime now. Ha Ha. MS Living linked to one of my articles. I feel so special.

We have an astronomy meeting tonight. I need to go lift since I didn't do it yesterday. I was trying to made little videos for my weekly charts and they kept coming our the wrong size. I was uttering some Gordon Ransey type words until I finally narrowed it down to - change the "size" of the video before exporting. Worked like a charm then.

Take care.
Marcy

GM girls and happy FriYAY

@Austina thanks and so glad you and Colin had a great trip. My mom started Paxlovid I think on Tuesday? I don't know for sure the days are passing in a blur. My sister has visited my dad every day and now she is away visiting Cornell University with my nieces and BIL so my DH and I will visit him Sunday because today I have a dr appointment in the middle of the day and the trip to the hospital is far for us (much closer for my sister which is why thankfully she had been able to visit him daily) especially with traffic. So our plan is to go Sunday and maybe he will be released that day. IDK. They have to do a bone scan because as it turns out (and I did not know this) if one has a pacemaker they cannot do an MRI? Anyway that's the update. He is still in a lot of pain despite all the pain meds and we are worried he does have a fracture.

@marcy thanks. The telescope session at the library sounded like fun. Sweet about your article getting much deserved recognition. And did someone say cookies....yummmm. Hope lifting went well and hope you had a good astronomy meeting

GM @Slickk happy almost weekend

Hello @bling_dream19 hope all is going well

Hey everyone else. So the clock is ticking and I am just waiting to see what happens re everything. I do not want to infect anybody and I just don't know what to do. About anything anymore to be honest. And all this rain isn't helping. We had one good weather day (Wed) and then the rain started again. We did go cycling yesterday because it helps me de stress a bit but it was misting the entire ride. And no cycling for the near future because rain today all day (heavy heavy heavy) plus my dr appointment in the middle of the day. Then Sunday we are seeing my dad. Tomorrow we might see our friend depending how we feel and how she feels about the risk of Covid. And now tomorrow isn't looking good weather wise but hoping it will clear by afternoon. This weather is nuts. Be well and have a good weekend all.

Hello lovelies

I’m so sorry this is all happening @missy, one day at a time, and every day you‘re feeling OK, is one step nearer to being fine. I did know about the pacemaker and MRI, but surely they’ve done x-rays to check if anything’s broken? It doesn’t take much for elderly people to fracture a bone in a bad fall. Hopefully they can get the pain under control, and I hope your Mum is improving now she’s able to take the Paxlovid and doesn’t have any rebound effects. I hope your niece gets in to the college of her choice, she’s a smart girl and deserves the best. I know this is extremely worrying and stressful for you all, but your Dad is where he needs to be and will hopefully get great care until he can go home. I expect it’s very strange for your parents to be separated like this after a lifetime of being together. Good luck at your Dr’s appt today.

Sounds like a great turnout at the library event @marcy, I’m glad it was well attended. Lots of time and effort goes in to the organisation, so it’s always rewarding when people appreciate it. I’m still fuming about those hooligans and I really hope the Police do something about it. Who knows what they’ll do next if they get away with it. Shame you haven’t got a big dog that you could send out to chase them off  We used to get kids climbing our fences to get to the house the other side of us, so we starting sending the dog out when we saw them, we‘d say “see ‘em off” and he’d go flying down the garden at full speed barking his head off:lol: They soon stopped even though the dog would’ve licked them to death, but they didn’t know that. Wow, fame is heading your way with a celebrity endorsement, because you ARE special:cool2:

I hope all the NIRDIs are well and safe and looking forward to the weekend. Big excitement for us, Colin is going for his 2nd Shingrix jab, and we’re talking to our friends on Sunday, they should be all moved in to their new house by now, so we’ll be getting the grand tour and catching up on all their news.

Have a great weekend :wavey:

GM girls and happy Caturday Saturday!

@Austina thank you for your continued good wishes for my family. X-rays unfortunately don't always show the whole picture and today supposedly they are doing more tests. He cannot stand or walk or move his legs. Very very worrisome. Tomorrow we are going to visit him again. We are trying to keep the bases covered and have someone there each day. Good luck to Colin with his second Shingrix jab. Hopefully he will have minimal or no adverse effects. Have fun with your friends on FT tomorrow

GM @Slickk I am so tired of the rain...hope it clears soon and you have a good weekend

@bling_dream19 hope all is going smoothly

Hi everyone else. What a week. I am not going into detail but looks like I have a super super rare disease and no doctor here knows what to do. I cannot deal with this now TBH. I had a telemedicine appt yesterday with my colorado Dr who cannot legally see me since he is not licensed here and he feels strongly I have this. He is contacting the Mayo clinic to see if we can send special blood work to them but I have no idea how this is going to play out. He is over 80 and well I just don't see him being able to help me and I need to find someone in NYC who can but again "it's so rare and also, frequently missed condition, which is challenging to diagnose. "

Anyway that is what is new with me lol. No wait I lie. UPS misplaced a medication I need and marked it as delivered, Cannot make this stuff up. I spoke with the actual driver and also a UPS official and while they promised I should get it I feel quite doubtful about this. Quite doubtful.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Be well. Enjoy. XOXO

In honor of Caturday Saturday here is Oliver last night swooning as he lay on my lap. Not an easy selfie lol

And Pepsi outside. Or rather we were outside and she was inside the yard. It's her house after all and we are mere guests :)
