Now I really did it :((

Hi NIRDI’S!

@missy your opal is so pretty. I am glad you got it and some other stuff from your place in NY. Those seals are so cute. They look cold though. Or am I projecting?

@Austina that’s good you kept at least one down coat. I reach for mine often. Hopefully your ankle is fine, and you’re right if anything is broken it is already healing. I am glad I was able to get a new dishwasher in less than two weeks. It doens’t seem possible you’ve had your new car that long. Have a nice day out.

Hi @Daisys and Diamonds I hope you are doing well.

Not much new here. Our snow is not melting, it’s still really icy out there. I got my Snoopy village out and put up tonight. I did drop one Snoopy and broke off his feet. Marty has a glue task when he gets home tomorrow.

Take care.
Marcy

get well soon snoopy

i hope your mum and dad are also eatting a good breakfast -winter's comming

@missy I am so sorry both of your parents fell. It is some relief they didn’t break anything. Hugs to all of you.

Good morning lovely ladies! Happy last day of November and happy terrific Thursday!

Thank you so much @Daisys and Diamonds and @marcy in my mind now it is just a matter of time. They are both quite stubborn and I really don't know what else I can do. I had given my dad much research literature at his request while he was in rehab. About what meds I think he needs to be on to help strengthen his bones. But he has not yet read them despite having them for over a month. And I spent time explaining it as well in case he didn't want to read it. But so far no go. His femur broke so it really is just a matter of time til another bone breaks fall or not. It is disheartening but both my parents are stubborn and I don't understand how they don't get how critical this is. They are adults however and I cannot force them to do anything. They live in a raised ranch and the stairs are steep and winter is almost here with ice and snow. Under the best conditions they fall so I am at a loss here and am just standing by feeling helpless. They are my parents no matter how foolish and stubborn they both are so it is upsetting.

@Daisys and Diamonds, Nikki, you are so sweet and you probably don't realize how much your kind words mean to me especially now. What is happening in the world is mind boggling like a brainwashing of the masses. TY for your warm and kind support. How is your SO doing and how are you doing Nikki? Big hugs

@marcy, thank you for all your support and friendship. Means the world to me. How is Marty doing? How are you feeling? Big hugs

@Slickk how are you doing and how are your kids? I hope everything went as smoothly as possible yesterday afternoon/evening. Big hugs

@bling_dream19 thinking of you sweet friend and hoping all is going well

@mrs-b happy holidays...looking forward to catching up soon hopefully

@springerspaniel any holiday plans? Hope work is going well

@Austina hope your weather is cooperating and you do not need a winter jacket anytime soon or at all

@canuk-gal speaking of winter...hope there is no or very little snow for us all

We had a good day. Medical appointments in person in the AM then we went for a very long hike. Real hike finally. It felt good. Today more of the same then another marathon zoom with my sweet girlfriends later. Looking forward to it.

Hi to everyone else. Hope all is well. Have a productive and peaceful day. XOXO

Hi Ladies -

I've been putting off this update for a long time because there's just been so much going on.

The central point is that we decided a few months back Tim should resign, have a real rest for a few months, then return to work when we felt his health was better, preferably in a far less stressful position. Tim has always been a very relaxed, chill kind of dude - happy by nature and very easy going. But there's limits, and he's been living well beyond them for years now. The last vacation of more than a week that he had was over 14 years ago, and sarcoidosis is so strongly associated with stress, we just felt in the end that the level of stress he had in his job was impacting him in a very negative sense. So - he quit.

He's been off work for the last couple of months, pottering around the house, and will start doing some contract work again - around 30 hours per week - on Monday. This will represent around half his regular workload for the last 20 years, and it's mainly straight technical actuarial work, as opposed to strategic planning for a multi billion dollar company - so the stress should be much less. This, in my opinion, will help him transition to retirement in a few years, and makes a good step-down role, as I think going from what he's been doing for years, to retired, would have been jarring. He's also thinking about continuing to do a little work into retirement, just to keep his hand in as the years go by - working in his own business. So this seems like the way forward to me.

As for me - I'm ok. Crohn's continues to be a battle, with a big flare over the last 6 weeks or so. It's been rough, but seems to be subsiding now. I see the rheumatologist in a couple of months and am going to ask him to test me for MS, which I've suspected for some years that I might have. So the health news on my front continues to unfold....

Eleanor graduated from Berkeley in May with straight A's, and I am so proud. She's now doing a one year Graduate Diploma in Children's Illustration through UC San Diego, and will try to get a job after that. Since her current course is remote/online and can be done at the pace of her choosing, she's started looking for jobs and internships in a more casual sense, which are not easy to find and hugely sought after. Her goal is to be an art director in a children's literature publishing house, and she hopes, ultimately, to do an MBA in Project Management, part time while she works. Both she and Nathaniel (her brother, my godson) were here for Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time. Nathaniel goes from strength to strength in his PhD, and was in Cambridge in the UK recently, delivering a presentation, then gave another presentation to faculty at MIT last week. He loves what he does- and loves his partner, Mika, who he lives with and is planning to marry. He's still out in LA, while Eleanor has moved here semi-permanently and will go back and forth between Boston and LA, with her home base mostly in Boston, until she moves into an apartment of her own, for which she's currently saving.

I've finished all my Christmas decos and gift shopping for this year, amd will head back to LA next Wednesday. Wendy, my best girlfriend, comes out on the 17th, and will be here for 5 weeks. Tim and Eleanor will be out in a little while as well, and all of us - me, Tim, Eleanor, Nathaniel, Wendy, Robert (my LA house mate / Wendy's husband / David's brother), and David (my best friend in the US and Robert's brother / Eleanor and Nathaniel's Dad) - will be having the Christmas season together. There will be much eating, drinking, watching of movies, taking of drives, flying of drones at the Rose Bowl, and dog walking going on.

I am way too far off the pace to catch up on everyone's news, and I apologise. I hope you're all well and hanging in there. @missy, thank you for still including me - your photos continue to be a genuine joy. Has anyone heard from @MamaBee?

Sending all of you hugs and well wishes for the festive season! oxoxo

Leaving you with Eleanor's latest Christmas card...I hope it makes you smile. <3

Hello again dear @mrs-b and @MamaBee is doing well. Just getting settled in her new home. XOXOXO
Sending you happy and healthy holiday wishes. Always keeping good thoughts for you. And congrats on Tim's semi retirement and Eleanor's graduation. Enjoy LA and being with your dear friend.

Hi @mrs-b! I am so happy you posted--I've been worried about how you and Tim are doing. When you get a chance, I would love to know more about Eleanor and Nathaniel. It sounds as if they have both been very productive and I do hope they are happy. What a lovely illustration she did for Christmas! Anyway, if you get a chance, I would love to talk again. After all, you are the one that helped me decide to change career course, and I greatly appreciate it. Last week, there was a fatal shooting incident at the hospital where I worked for over 20 years--thank goodness I left when I did.

Hi to all of the NIRDIs!!!! I am sorry I have been MIA, but I do try to keep up. Just finished another statistics class and am waiting for the final exam grades to be posted. I am TAing another course and just submitted a big grant to the Feds that I won't hear about for many months. Trying to figure out my next career step, which I hope will be about 75% time doing research and 25% time doing clinical work. I do miss getting a real salary, but I am soooo much happier right now with my choice.

@missy I'm so sorry to hear that your parents are becoming so frail with their advancing age. Would they consider moving in with you and Greg or another family member?

@missy I'm so sorry to hear that your parents are becoming so frail with their advancing age. Would they consider moving in with you and Greg or another family member?

Not a chance. They are so independent. I don't know what happens but I have observed as many people get older they get more stubborn. It is hard to just stand by watching this unfold. But they cannot be swayed. Thanks for your suggestion though. I appreciate it

ETA Part of this issue are their feral cats who cannot be moved. Their lives depend on my parents and my parents will not leave them. I cannot say I do not understand this because I do. These are very challenging circumstances

Hello lovelies

Your house is looking very festive @marcy, sorry that one of your Snoopys got “Misery’ed’, but hope you can reattached his feet. I saw a Snoopy lawn ornament in Lowe’s yesterday, and instantly thought of you.

Thanks for the story @Daisys and Diamonds, thank goodness she was so quick to act. Sorry to hear about Gary, I hope he gets steady on his feet again.

Nice to hear from you @springerspaniel, sounds like you’ve been so busy with work, and thank goodness you were out of that situation. Good luck with your exam results and finding the perfect new role for you.

Sorry to hear about your health update @mrs-b. Sounds like a lot of momentous things going on with you and Tim, and the wider family. Colin retired sometime in his 50’s and did interim management for a while, and I do think it’s the best way to transition in to full retirement. I hope it works out for Tim and improves his health no end. Congratulations to Eleanor and Nathaniel, sounds like all their hard work is paying off for even brighter futures. Have a great Christmas with all your friends and family.

Oh no @missy, how worrying to hear about your poor Mum and Dad, but thank goodness they didn’t end up with any more broken bones. I do think part of the problem is that people find it hard to accept (or be reminded) they’re ‘old’ and can’t do what they used to. We certainly saw that with Colin’s parents. I don’t know what the solution is, other than to be there when they need you, doesn’t stop you worrying though. Glad to hear that @MamaBee is settling in to her new home.

We took the car in for its first service yesterday and waited while they did it. Our second key was finally in (world wide shortage of chips apparently) and they cleaned it inside and out. By the time they were finished, we didn’t not to stop for lunch, so picked up the food to bring home and eat.

We’ve had some much needed rain today, so had to wait for it to stop before going and doing the shopping, as we didn’t want Blanche to get all dirty again

I’ve ordered an upholstered bed frame for our room, which should be here tomorrow or Saturday. It’s been difficult to get one suitable for an adjustable bed so fingers crossed it’ll be OK.

Can’t believe we’re in to December tomorrow, this year has just whizzed by o_O

:wavey:

@missy I get it, I know that I'm getting more stubborn in my increasing age as well! :) It's hard to give them the independence they want when you worry about them all the time. Also, as a fellow cat lover (I have adopted many homeless cats over the years) I understand their reluctance to give up caring for them. I guess the only thing you can do is continue to monitor your parents and offer any support that they will accept. How are they managing appointments and groceries... do they still drive?

Hi NIRDI’s!

@missy it’s rough getting old and rough on us worrying about our loved ones as they struggle. Not much we can do but support them and be there for them. I get it, it’s hard to give up your independence and admit you need help. Big hugs to all of you. Beautiful pictures form your hike.

@mrs-b I am so glad to hear Tim quit his stressful job and will be working less hours at his new job. I hope he feels better and has much relief from dealing with less stress. I hate to hear your Crohn’s flared up again and I hope your tests on MS are negative. Big hugs to both of you. Congratulations to Eleanor on graduating and how fun to have her and Nathan there for Thanksgiving. Have a safe trip to LA.

@springerspaniel how awful about the shooing where you worked. I am glad you left there. I am glad you are so much happier with what you are doing now. Good luck with your final grade from your statistics class. I worked more on that class in college than probably all my other classes combined.

@Austina so far I’ve only got the fireplace decorated. I hope to get the tree up this weekend. Outside is an ice-skating rink so I doubt Marty can put up anything outside this weekend. I picked up two Snoopy lawn ornaments from Lowes recently, I can’t wait to see them outside. LOL to Snoopy being “Misery’ed”. Since I have bad knees that story makes me cringe. It sounds like you guys had a busy day. Good idea to keep your care clean. My clean car went through melting snow puddles this weekend so it’s no longer clean. Darn it.

Marty got home yesterday afternoon and the three of us went out for supper last night. I lifted tonight then since we went out to dinner when I’m normally lifting. Today I worked on videos and not much else. They take me less than than the used to, but still take time.

My sister-in-law and I went grocery shopping this morning and we picked up stuff for tacos for supper. And then we loaded all the dishes in that magical thing they call a dishwasher. It was so exciting.

Take care.
Marcy

GM girls and happy FriYAY!

@marcy yay for Marty being back home. And sounds like you are having a lovely visit with his sister. Yummmm tacos and yay dishwasher that works. Thank you for your photo compliment. I consider you a photographer of the highest caliber and so that is quite the compliment and I thank you. Still not lifting and glad you are

@finerthings thank you. And thank you for rescuing and caring for homeless cats. Animals are pure and innocent unlike humans and especially now I prefer them to most humans. As for driving right now no. My dad was recently released from rehab and he cannot yet drive so they are taking access a rides and cabs. Unfortunately we live hours away from them. Getting older is not for the faint of heart but it beats the alternative. Life is not kind to us as we age. My dad used to say to me when I was a little girl, "missy, no one gets out of this life alive"...and my corollary is no one gets out unscathed. One day at a time and we do the best we can. TY for your kind support. I appreciate it

@Austina I know right? December. Wow. And it seems there are shortages of everything now. Because we do not manufacture it here in the USA. One of my meds is backordered and we have no clue for how long. The pharmacist said it's because we get all our meds from China and we manufacture nothing here due to constraints put on manufacturing in the USA. It is counterintuitive and it blows for us all. Glad you finally got the extra key. Hope your bed frame delivery goes smoothly and ty for your kind words about my parents

@Slickk woohoo weekend is almost here

@bling_dream19 hope your week is going well and all is good

@canuk-gal how's the weather by you? Any decisions about work?

@springerspaniel fwiw I think this is a great move. I hope your grant comes through and soon. Life is really too short to spend it somewhere we are miserable. As I get older the more I take this to heart. It is the truth. Sending you many good wishes and it will all work out. I feel it in my heart.

@mrs-b continued big hugs and well wishes and may this holiday season be full of cheer, joy, love and good health.

Hello everyone else. We had a good day yesterday and despite being tired we had a good hike too. Had a long zoom with my girlfriends and the day just sped by. Wishing you all a lovely friYAY filled with all good things and all you truly deserve. XOXO

Hello lovelies

Happy FriYay

Glad Marty got home safely @marcy, and sweet on going out for dinner. We’re planning on keeping away from people until we go away, don’t want a repeat of last years fiasco on board! Good luck putting up your tree, I did mine a couple of weeks ago, just to finally get some use out of it

Isn’t it ridiculous that in such a big country, even things like medicines are being sourced from overseas @missy :doh:Glad you got to spend time outside, I know it feeds your soul and helps balance all the stresses in your life.

Well, despite checking and the order update saying the bedframe was being delivered tomorrow, it turned up this afternoon. The box is really battered so I hope it’s not damaged. We’re going to tackle it tomorrow, no doubt there’ll be much muttering and cursing putting it together!

Have a great weekend lovely NIRDIs :wavey:

Hi NIRDI’s!

@missy how long before you can lift again? I went almost 3 months after breaking my wrist, I missed it. I hope you can lift again soon. My SIL is already getting on my nerves. As Marty says, there is a reason she lives alone - and her nomad life has vastly enhanced her lack of controlling her inner dialogue and attitude. Luckily, I like her but New Year’s is a long time away. You take excellent pictures and thank you for the kind words about my photos. I need to quit working so much and get out and use my camera. So true getting old isn’t for the faint hearted and we don’t get out of it unscathed either and that’s no matter your age. Something one of my dear friends said when her dad was bad with Alzheimer’s, it’s hard to watch our heroes fail, I’ve never forgot that. Life is wonderful and challenging for sure. I hope your meds show up okay.

@Austina your tree is lovely. I hope your new bed frame is okay. Let’s hope neither of you get sick on your trip. Muttering and cursing is helpful at times. I can sound like Gordon Ramsey at times.

I spent all day working on temperamental videos which resulted in some uttering of several colorful metaphors. I ended up working nine hours today which I haven’t done for over a month. My November hours were only 180.75 so I continue to cut back a bit. A friend of mine came over for lunch and we tried to play cards but between chats from my job and calls from her job, we spent more time working than visiting and playing cards. Glad we skipped the wine.

Marty is getting a cold. Fun.

Take care.
Marcy

GM girls and happy Caturday Saturday!

@marcy the surgeon said I could start lifting one week after the surgery but I felt that advice too optimistic and too risky so I am waiting one month probably after the second eye which brings me to December 16th or so. I am being conservative because I don't want to take unnecessary risks. And the surgeon, while excellent, does not look like he works out lol.

I hear you about others getting on one's nerves. It is challenging being a host for so long a time period. LOL working on your videos and using colorful metaphors. Haha yes. It helps to use those as it defuses stressful situations. Do not work too hard. It is (as I know you know) all about balance. And you enjoy it all. Work, play and all the time in between.

Oh no to Marty getting a cold. Hope he feels better soon. And that you and your SIL don't catch it.

@Austina what a lovely festive tree. Smart to put it up early. Hope the bed frame is in perfect condition and easy to put together.

@canuk-gal LOL. It is all part of marriage I guess. As I wrote above colorful narrative helps :)

@bling_dream19 happy weekend.hope you are in a festive holiday mood

@Slickk hope you enjoy a terrific weekend filled with only good things

@MamaBee hope all is going as smoothly as possible

@mrs-b have a lovely weekend

@springerspaniel hope you get good news very soon

We had a good hike yesterday and the weather is pretty mild at the moment. We *might* attempt cycling today. It is going to be cloudy all day but in the low 50s f so we are thinking about it.

Leaving you with a Caturday Saturday photo.
May your day be as purrrrrrfect as you and may it bring joy, peace and all good things

Have a meorrrwalous Saturday lovely ladies. XOXO

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!

It was chilly yesterday--but I was running around with errands and not standing outside or walking much. But overall I am pretty please with how mild it has been. We will go out for lunch, then I want to shop for a new bag. And check out a new (to me) restaurant that I might get Christmas dinner from. Already planning my escape from cooking!

@marcy I think it is very generous for you to host for that length of time.

@missy sorry to hear your parents are falling. And FWIW I've never met one person who has graciously accepted leaving their own home to live in a care facility. It isn't stubbornness, as much it is (just) human nature. Very few people want to accept they need help or that their circumstances have changed. At any rate the most successful stories I know include having 24/7 care--in one's own home. Live out care--people doing shifts in the home. Same staff--so care is consistent. Costly but works very well.

@mrs-b nice to hear from you! Hope Tim's gets the rest he needs.

My DH has a cancerous spot on his ear--the Derm will treat it. Common and treatable. But always something to worry about.

@Austina good luck with your assembly!

cheers--Sharon

GM girls! Happy fun day Sunday!

@canuk-gal yes Greg and I actually have that set up when we get older. If we need care it will be in house if everything goes according to plan. Unfortunately my parents set up no such long term care plan. It is cost prohibitive to do so at this point. And I get what you are saying. My parents are both stubborn but yes most of us would behave similarly under the circumstances. Though my MIL was the opposite. When the time came she sold her house. The house my dh grew up in and the house she was in all her adult life. She moved to a town home where it would be easier to manage things. And then when the time came for her to go to assisted living she willingly went and she had set up such a care plan decades before. She was a smart lady ahead of her time in many ways. That is my only real experience with older adults needing assisted living. My grandparents lived in their house til they died. But my grandfather was very lucky as my parents lived only a mile away and my mom and dad did everything for him. Unfortunately both my sister and I do not live close by. Aging is not for the faint hearted in any case. Though it does beat the alternative for most.

Glad your dh is getting that cancerous spot taken care of and hope it goes smoothly. Coincidentally, Greg just had four biopsies this past Wednesday and the report came back Friday that two were cancerous. He is getting them removed in a few weeks. It is constant vigilance with his moles. His body is covered in them and he already has had a melanoma and surgery for that. In fact his parathyroid thyroid cancer specialist told us not to worry about the thyroid cancer as much as we need to be concerned with all the moles on his body given his history and the sheer number of them. Words that have stuck with me. He does get checked every three months despite his protests. LOL I am on top of this and will not let him ignore the body checks.

@Slickk hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend despite the rain today. Yesterday was super mild and nice

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!

@missy I have the same mole problem like Greg--I have to be vigilant. Luckily I haven't had too many scares over the decades.

Day by day with elderly and frail parents. And the caregiver partner become the patient themselves! Hoping they stay well!

I am very happy with my new purse!!! Haven't bought a bag in ages--seems weird!

cheers--Sharon

Hi NIRDI’s!

@missy it is a good eye to be cautious especially with your eyes. I am glad you got to hike and enjoyed your beautiful pictures. How are your parents doing this weekend. Bless them and hugs to them. That was nice of your MIL doing what she knew was right for her, my mom’s mother did that as well. I don’t many people are like that, I guess it depends on the person.

@canuk-gal we have been below freezing here and it’s crazy windy. I am delighted to hear you are pleased with your new purse. Until I got some Snoopy ones, I was getting new bags all the time. Great idea to find a place to get Christmas dinner from, I just recently ordered catering for our family dinner on the 30th. As much as we spend buying the groceries and cook it all, IMO - I’m fine to spend that kind of money. We are getting catering from a BBQ place. Good luck to your DH getting his ear taken care of, Marty’s had a few spots by his ear done too.

We had a busy and I guess eventful weekend. Marty couldn’t even talk yesterday. I made homemade soup hoping that would help. Today we went to look at the two houses north of town. I guess we are putting in an offer on one of them. AAK. I am already stewing all the things I’ll have to do. We will see what happens.

Take care.
Marcy

Good morning lovely ladies! Happy marvelous Monday!

@canuk-gal thank you sweet friend. I know you understand too well and for that I am sorry. I hate bringing up unpleasant memories for you. It is a never ending merry go round isn't it. My parents took care of my grandfather and now they need care. I try not thinking too far ahead but it is hard for someone like me who is a worrier and also who is a realist. I see the writing on the wall. YAY for a new purse! I have not bought one for many many years come to think of it. I am glad you are vigilant about your moles and may it continue to be nothing to worry about.

@marcy thanks for asking about my parents. We saw them yesterday. My dad looks grey. I have an ominous feeling. His legs are very swollen despite the diuretics he is on and I kept asking my parents why are his legs swollen? Is it his heart? He is seeing his cardiologist this afternoon as an "emergency" appointment. I write emergency in quotes because he called Thursday and they gave him this afternoon. How is that an emergency appointment waiting four days? But I digress. I am worried. I know he is 89 but he is my dad and his mind is sharp. Our bodies just fail us at some point and I am thankful his mind is intact though it makes this challenging because I know he is aware. Sorry I am just sharing my feelings as I write to you this morning and I know you all get it. I am sorry you understand and have been through something similar. It is never easy. I am trying to stop my mind from racing to the future and the what ifs and the worry about my mom too. I am glad we went yesterday to see them
I am sorry Marty is still under the weather and hope he starts feeling better very very soon. I am sure the homemade soup was delicious and also helpful. OMG good luck with your offer on a new house. Very excited for you and hope it works out just as you hope it does. Stay warm. I do not care for freezing temps. Keep warm and cozy and comfy

@Slickk hope you enjoyed a wonderful weekend

Hello lovelies

Your new handbag is fab @canuk-gal, great choice! Those moles are pesky critters, and need constant supervision. Colin had a little red patch on his nose a few years ago, which turned out to be nasty, and ended up having to have MOHS surgery on it. He now also gets regular checks on all his moles and skin in general. He’s ultra careful of course, especially living in this climate.

Sorry to hear Marty is unwell @marcy, and hopefully your soup will work magic on his voice. I had to laugh at his comment about Chris, but at least you know when the visit will be over. I totally agree about getting catering in when you’re having lots of guests, the cost of food these days is so high, it’s probably not costing anymore more when you factor your time in and energy for cooking It all.

I’m sorry to hear about your father @missy, and I hope his ‘emergency’ appt today will be useful in finding a solution to his swollen legs. It’s only natural to worry when you go through all the ‘what ifs’. IDK, but I seem to spend more time worrying about the future than I ever used to. Colin has already been looking at assisted living facilities which offer different levels of care based on need. He’s a planner for sure.

The bed frame was pretty simple to put together, for once the instructions were crystal clear and all the components well labelled. It didn’t take too long to get it in place, and we’re really happy with the look. Somehow, it seems to make the bedroom look even bigger, don’t ask me how that works, it just does. We went out shopping yesterday, not for anything in particular, more to just get out of the house. It was a lovely warm day here, 76, can you believe it?

Solar people are coming again today, not exactly sure what they’re doing, I think it’s to reconnect the battery ready for the new panels.

Good morning girls and happy terrific Tuesday!

@Austina very nice. Glad it went smoothly and that it is in good condition. His appointment went well and his heart is fine. She doubled his diuretic. I still don't understand why he needs this and when I ask my mom her answer is because he is old. OK then. At least the cardiologist didn't find anything significant. Hope the solar stuff that needs to happen today goes smoothly. Hope Colin finds a satisfactory plan/place just in case. We felt in home care (if possible that is) was the best care plan for us but of course no one can predict the future and what we might need. It is a sobering thought.

@bling_dream19 @Slickk @canuk-gal @Jemi @mrs-b @springerspaniel @marcy @MamaBee good morning...hope all is well. It's getting colder here. Winter is on the way. In a couple of weeks the days are going to get a bit longer though so woohoo. Enjoy a good day and hope it brings you joy and peace and only good things. XOXO
