@Inked I am jumping the proverbial gun but man daylight is taking too long to arrive!!!! LOL

Hello everyone else. SO yesterday the internist agreed (he spoke with an infectious disease specialist before we came in as he knew the reason I made the appointments and they squeezed us in as he had zero openings) and he RXd both of us the med I wanted. Unfortunately in the USA it is hard to find this med because parasitic infections are not common here in humans. Oy to the vey. So the pharmacist had him RX a less effective med and I am still trying to find the better med...not easy and we are on a timeline here. I think we might take the Ivermectin they were able to get us and then if I can get the other med I will and we will take that too. LOL not leaving anything to chance. But it's not ideal and I am unsure what to do tbh. Still thinking about the options and have not yet taken anything for the potential roundworm infection

In better news Greg was the hero of the day. Fed EX came when we were HOME but did NOT ring the bell or even knock on the door IMO because we would have heard them. So pissed. Anyway long story but I was able to get it released to Greg after contacting the shipper who lifted the restrictions only delivery at home signature required. Greg went to Fed Ex last night (and was late to a meeting he had because of it) and with my ID was able to sign for it there and voila. I am waiting for sunlight/daylight to fully evaluate it but right now...in LOVE with the ring. The diamond (lab), the setting...all yummy.

So I could not get good photos in the dark last night and this AM so far but here's a quick video in the kitchen with the lights on...

I won’t actually see my new DK creation until Xmas but will post the finished pictures that he sends me before it ships. I sent the OEC to him right after I got it from K.
He must be slammed with orders. It’s taking longer than expected. I think he was waiting for the side stones( also lab OEC diamonds) but his work is worth the wait.
Hope Jasper settles in with the other cats. It’s tough being the new kit on the block!

Very busy week. Up early MOnday to return to the gym/pool. Did an hour aquasize and enjoyed it. I should have checked the online schedule more closely, as I wanted to use the gym but it was being repainted. Poop. Will return next week and do both. If I am paying I want my $$ worth!! I did work out at home. LOL Worked two days this week and met my DF who finalized her Tiffany upgrade on Tuesday. Ran around like mad today getting stuff for my DS.....never ends. But on a fun note we continue to binge Christmas shows. Rewatching Christmas Chronicles. Love it!!

@missy Friday the 13th and didn't see one black cat...except for yours!!! Hope the felines are becoming friends. Is Gracie jealous the new kid in town is getting your lap time? Congrats on your new ring! Lovely! Glad you got your meds.

@Slickk hope you had some wins at work. There was an incident at work this week that ingratiated me...but I decided to shake it off. People can be inconsiderate. Even colleagues you've worked with for years. Sad but true.

My hubby went to Pa..He will stay there until Thursday because he’s going to a football game tomorrow in Maryland with his brother. The stands will be packed with screaming fans.. This is my isolation week before my infusion on Friday. I can’t get sick before I get the infusion. I get it every eight weeks..If it gets delayed because I’m sick I’m open to attacks..No thank you..S will test before he comes back on Thursday.

I have some tree bling to share..hahaha I also added the children’s tree with additions from the house in Maryland. I’m surprised it didn’t fall down with the weight of all the extra kiddie ornaments!

GM girls and happy Caturday Saturday! We have a very long day today..bringing all five cats to my sister at her clinic.Bobby has not been acting right or eating much for the past two days. Worried about him but that wasn't the initial reason for the vet visit. It's to deworm them. I hope Bobby will be OK. It's a lot of ups and downs with the cats especially the older ones but Bobby isn't that old. He's around 15 I believe.

@canuk-gal thank you. She was initially but I have been giving her plenty of lap time so she seems to be happier. It's a bit challenging with five but so many cats need homes. Heartbreaking. We cannot save them all (wish we could) but we do what we can. I am worried about Bobby as he has not been well and not really been eating for the past two days which as you might know dangerous in cats. Their kidneys start shutting down. Here we go again. I feel bad for my sister because we are bringing all five to her this mooting (one time slot and she is busy busy busy) and she doesn't know Bobby isn't well. It's supposed to be a deworming appointment only. UGH. Anyway sorry I know I have been worried in almost every post here and I apologize it's just life can be challenging and sharing with all off you makes it a little less overwhelming

@Austina oh no I am so sorry you have been ill and hope you are improving each day and feel almost all better. This is what you missed. K created this gorgeous lab OEC and commissioned David Klass to create the setting and then she realized she mainly wears her halo OEC (Bubbalah's twin) so she put it up for sale. I rarely check preloved (to avoid temptation lol) but managed to check it thanksgiving weekend and wowza...I couldn't believe it was still available as I found it late. Anyway here we are. It's gorgeous and I have longed for a solitaire since I got Bubbalah but did not want to reset Bubbalah as I LOVE her as she is. So purrrfect situation.

@jeaniefish Oh I know it will be worth the wait. His work is exquisite and I cannot wait for you to be enjoying it and wearing it...please share photos with us if you are up for it when it arrives. DK is slammed right now. But he took the time to help me get the ring because the fed ex did not ring the bell or knock on the door and just left the note. So he called for me and authorized release to Greg at the fed ex place because initially it had to be signed for at home only. No release anywhere else. I know that took time and he did if fast because I got it that evening (of the day delivery was boggled). Anyway all this to say he is a good guy and his work is beyond incredible IMO

Hello everyone else. Hope all is well. We got our deworming meds and took them with dinner. IN two more weeks we take the last dose. Hope this works. And the cats deworming works too because if we cannot get them dewormed we will get it again. Jasper is ridiculous as he insists on sleeping on my face and arm and keeps moving from one side to the other and puts his mouth and wet nose on my face an mouth. It was the reason I decided to take the anti parasitic meds because no way I am not infected with him doing that all night long. And if we don't let him join us he howls. Thank goodness we decided NOT to have human kids. I am not strong enough for that. I wouldn't have survived their childhood. (I mean I already lost 5 lbs again over the past two weeks or so...after working hard to regain few lbs bam back to losing more weight). And I knew that about myself so credit to me for knowing lol. I remember Jimmianne/MarionC was the first to say to me she was very impressed I knew myself so well because so many have kids who shouldn't have. Anyway sorry for the digression. Just super worried for the cats right now and especially Bobby. Praying he will be OK

I took a video of the two rings together as per @MamaBee 's request...it's challenging because one I am supposed to wear my brace 24/7 and two I have to wear gloves with moisturizer to help prevent blistering from the radiation and it is freezing out. So given all the limitations I did the best I could. When the weather warms up and my hands are a bit more functional I will take better photos and videos

Hello everyone else. Yesterday after we got home from the long trip to the vet (my sister) with five cats I was too tired to do much. Greg and I stayed home and played cards. I did not even work out. Very rare for me. Debbie took blood on Tommy and blood and urine on Bobby (who is not eating) and tomorrow the results will be (should be) in so we will see what's up hopefully something fixable.

Bobby is not eating. Debbie gave him everything she could to stimulate the appetite. Blood work and urine results will be in tomorrow. I am super worried. Nothing feels worse than when your sweet furry baby stops eating and the situation is dire and I am helpless to do anything more than we have done.

Today I am still tired (could be the effects of the radiation which I was warned hits week two and three maximally) or just the stress of Bobby not eating and everything else happening. IDK. My dad is not doing well. My mom feels he is on his last days/weeks. I want to make the trip today but I just do not feel up to it. I am still in bed. I feel fatigued. UGH. I plan on calling her as soon as it is a more respectable hour to see how he is doing and if we have to make the trip today we will. That's my pathetic update. @canuk-gal No..We didn’t get the time to get it done with all my medical issues. We’re hoping to get the Maryland one on the market by next summer. The Pa one will be last..I’ve been skeletonizing it..(I made up that word!) by having either Chris bring up things every time he comes for a visit or we take things home that I can fit in the car when we go to check on the house. I had two movers take all of the furniture out of the house in Maryland I wanted here. I left some furniture in the house in Pa so it would look like a home when I would bring my mom there from the nursing home. She didn’t even get to visit there because she got sick and spent time in the hospital. It’s overwhelming so my husband has been good taking it slow so it doesn’t give me extra stress. He’s been amazing.

I love my band..Thank you…I’ll never stop looking for the other one..

The pain will always be there. TG for Gabapentin..I would be in excruciating pain without it…I’m on a very high dosage to get it under control. It still hurts but its manageable now. I can think of jewelry and other things again. Thanks for the good wishes!

As you know my DIL is Jewish…I now have two little grandchildren...I would love to do something for them here..since my house is all full of Christmas decorations. I want them to know I also embrace their Jewish heritage.
If anyone has ideas I would appreciate it.
