Now I really did it :((

HI:

Busy errand day. Started out great--going into Safeway greeted by 4 Police bringing a fella out and into the police van. Awesome. Ya just don't know who is next to you on the street.

It is 5c outside and gloomy--good day for errands but not cycling.

I had a surgery scheduled for the end of Oct--but now postponed due to Covid. OR closures. Not surprised.

@Austina I LOL about your banking hassles--I think they thought you had way too much $$$! Your British Pounds go pretty far in the US. I'm sure it will all get sorted out.

@missy glad the pooper scope went well. Glad you enjoyed your ride. I've seen more tandem riders this year than ever before.

@mrs-b I'm sorry to hear your ray of sunshine (DH) is unwell. Healing vibes across the miles. Hugs.

NIRDI shout out!!!! Keep calm and carry on.

cheers--Sharon

Sharon..That stinks they postponed your surgery. I hope it wasn’t something serious. Hopefully you’ll get another appointment soon.

GM girls! Happy Tuesday!

@canuk-gal I'm sorry your surgery was postponed. That does suck. Covid is the gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving in many indirect ways. I hope it can be rescheduled very soon.

@mrs-b continued gentle well wishes to Tim and hugs to you.

@Slick1 I hope your MIL is being less difficult and demanding. Gentle hugs.

@Austina hope life in Austin is proving to be fun and exciting and feeling good. How can it not being with your loved ones. Plus I know Austin is awesome.

@MamaBee thank you for your sweet wishes. One day at a time. Hope your mom is doing well and things are going smoothly.

@bling_dream19 Halloween is fast approaching. Are you guys handing out candy and dressing up?

Hi to everyone else. Hope all is well.
We had a great ride yesterday though super windy.
And it was chilly. But never too chilly for ice cream haha.
And one big plus is the ice cream doesn't melt in two minutes when it is cold outside. ;)

And we were comfy and cozy and warm with our fire going last night.
It's a beautiful October so far. Enjoy and be well girls.
XOXO.

Good morning girls..I don’t know if I mentioned that my son, daughter-in-law, and boys are coming on Friday here to Pa.
They’ll spend Friday and Saturday with us. I’m basically doing a spring cleaning..This house is too big to clean by myself but I’ve been doing it since Covid. It’s a full time job that I don’t want! I actually like to clean but this is a huge job. I’m not young anymore..This throws my back and neck out. Enough whining Joanne! Get busy! Hahahaha
Big hugs to all!

Hello lovelies

Oh no @mrs-b, I’m so sorry to hear that Tim is so under the weather and the meds have had such a devastating effect on him. Poor man and poor you, these are the times when having a such a strong relationship really comes in to it’s own. I know you’ll get through it, but it‘ll be testing. I’m glad to hear that you feel you don’t need the surgery imminently, and I hope you continue to feel that way while you’re dealing with Tim’s problems. Sending lots of healing vibes and positive energy your way.

Thanks @MamaBee, these last few months have been incredibly stressful (in their own way), and I’m just finding this stupid licence thing just ridiculous. We spent a good part of the day trying to find someone who’ll insure me on my UK licence, but the cost is exorbitant and not worth it. I hear you on the house cleaning issue, the house we downsized from was 4,500 sq ft, and it would take me an entire day to clean from top to bottom. I felt like it was never ending. The last house was somewhat easier at 3,500 sq ft, but still a chore. Good luck with your cleaning, and yay to having your son and family visiting this weekend. I hope your Mum is doing well and keeping safe.

Ugh @canuk-gal sorry to hear your surgery has been postponed, I hope you can remain healthy while it’s on temporary hold. Yikes to encountering the crim while on a routine shopping trip.

Oh @missy, this is just too much. Obviously I don’t know the ins and outs of your particular situation, but whenever I had problems with a thickened womb lining, I had a D&C to clear it all out. I don’t know if they still do that, or if it’s even appropriate for you, but I’m appalled that the situation has been allowed to carry on for so long without any kind of resolution. It was bad enough when I bled for 6 weeks solid when we were in Australia, it was profuse and affected every single thing we did, what I wore, where we went, how long we were out for, whether there were clean facilities close by, so for this to be dragging on for so long, I can’t even imagine. I’m not surprised you’re feeling so down about it, if you know there’s an end in sight or some kind of resolution, you can put up with just about anything, but when there isn’t, it’s just too much to bear. I’m glad Greg’s colonoscopy went well and nothing bad showed up.

As I mentioned, we spent the best part of the day trying to get insurance, so tomorrow, Adam is going to the airport early, and Kim is going to take me straight from there to a Department of Transport office to be there before they open in the hopes I can get my learner’s permit as a walk in. There won’t be any problem getting a test, I can schedule one with 1 day’s notice. THEN I can get my licence and insurance. I just want to be able to drive my new car!

Colin is going for his covid booster this afternoon, Adam was able to schedule him one easily at the local Target pharmacy

Shirley’s DIL was safely delivered of another son this morning, so happy for them all, she was due to be induced yesterday, but decided to wait and let nature take it’s course.

Have a good Tuesday lovely NIRDIs :wavey:

@Austina I hope you get to drive your new car soon! I would feel lost without a car. I think I spend half of my life in one!
When you mentioned the square footage..I decided to look ours up. It’s 7,422 sq. feet! The next house we get will be much smaller. My mom was living with us when we bought this house. She had her own suite on the other side of the house. We won’t need one as big next time..I have definite wishes for easier maintenance..My husband loves a larger house..I don’t..I like a mid range…When we start looking next year it will be hard to compromise. I always let him have the larger house. I will tell him I won‘t nag or complain as my bargaining chips..

Good luck to Colin for his booster and I hope you can get one soon too @Austina. I hope the insurance get sorted out easily and you can get your license soon.

Thanks for understanding. Yes it does affect much of what I do and how I feel. The OHPC is helping greatly though so far not perfect. I am still waiting to see if I can get more OHPC from the Texas pharmacy. I am very on edge about that as well. I need it so much and am at their mercy. I will keep you posted.

Congratulations to Shirley's son and DIL.
XOXO Austina. You are such a calming presence. Really appreciate everything. And your friendship too.

@MamaBee wow that is a lot of square feet! I couldn't imagine cleaning all that house LOL. But I know you are a master at it despite not wanting to do it. Soon hopefully things can get back to normal. Fingers crossed. Have a wonderful time with your family! XOXO.

 @MamaBee that’s not a house, it’s a small hotel!!!! Don’t you just love it when men want something that they don’t have to take care of?

The must have for us this time was a single storey, there’s no way I want to be dragging a vacuum cleaner up and down stairs any longer, our last house was 3 storeys, and the one before was multi levels. I had to have a vac on each floor.

I think the layout of the new house will make it so much easier to keep clean as the guest accommodation is one side, and I’ll be able to close it off when not needed.

Thank you for your kind words @missy, you know I feel the same.

As requested @mrs-b the latest photos.

@Austina! I love the layout of your house! It’s so exciting..and it’s not even mine!

Hi everyone!

@Austina, welcome to the US! What you and Colin have been dreaming of is now a reality and I wish you every happiness. Good luck getting settled in. I hope you can get some well-deserved rest. The house looks great, love the layout. So exciting to see it taking shape.
@marcy, your ruby ring is gorgeous! The setting is beautiful and I love the color of the ruby.
@mrs-b, I'm glad your back has improved and great news about being able to postpone surgery. Wonderful news about adopting Eleanor! Sorry to hear about Tim's health issues and I hope he gets back on track soon.
@Jemi, hope you had a great time on your trip. And I hope you are feeling ok, I understand how anxiety can linger after going through a stressful period.
@missy, good luck with the biopsy. I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible and you get the all-clear. Hopefully it's the medications that are causing the issues but it's good to rule out more serious causes once and for all.
Hi @MMtwo, life does sound very busy for you, I hope you can get some downtime soon.
@canuk-gal, sending good thoughts to your mother. Giving up one's independence is hard. Sorry to see that you are dealing with some stressful situations and I hope you're managing ok.
@Calliecake, hi! Thanks for asking about me, everyone is doing well. I hope everything is good on your end too. I'm so glad you have your nieces and nephews in your life and they are very lucky to have you in theirs.
@Mambee, I'm glad your mother was able to have a visit at your house. Sorry about all the issues with covid, this pandemic has been so challenging for people in facilities and their families.

Not a whole lot new with me. I was in SC for a while and just got back. It was a nice getaway and we'll probably go back sometime in November. My sister just bought a new house there and is very busy but seems happy; they were living in a condo and are enjoying the extra room.

Take care everyone, sending good thoughts to all.

@Austina - thank you so much for indulging me. I love the look of the layout - beautiful flow!

House size is an interesting thing. I love apartments and townhouses in the 1500 sq ft range. My new townhouse is about that size (1540 sq ft) and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen with breakfast area, small laundry area, formal dining, living, an open space upstairs for an office, a Juliette balcony upstairs and a small walled patio downstairs. It has a nice sized entrance area and parking for 2 cars. And I have to say - at this stage of life, that feels about right! Something I can lock up and leave. I'm not kidding when I say - if we didn't have 2 large dogs, we'd be living in something like that now.

But having said that....

I also love my house in Boston, which is around 3300 sq ft of living and another 1200 in garage and basement/workshop. It also has a 700sq ft cobblestone outdoor area for our outdoor furniture, my pot plants, and which the dogs can always access. This is fenced off from the larger yard - mostly so we can keep the dogs clean and can localize dog poop, rather than having to search around a half acre looking for where they've done their business so we can pick it up!

And even then, every so often, I crave something in the 5000 sq ft size on an acre or two. But that's madness and I reel myself in pretty quickly! I grew up in a house that was 4200 sq ft and Tim's family's house where he grew up was 6,000 sq ft, so we're used to space. My mother grew up in a huge house (it had a ballroom, for instance!) on a hundred acres of beautiful grazing land, so I think it's in the genes - altho, since Tim and I don't hold a lot of balls these days, we'd probably forgo that one!

@MamaBee, every photo I've ever seen of your house has been spectacular! You are one very lucky woman! Tho I have to agree with Austina - that's one big home!

@missy - I took a photo for you this afternoon when I got home from my decompression appointment and made myself a coffee. Thank you for the mug and the lovely message on it - this house could definitely do with healing vibes at the moment. Tim's blood glucose was up another 12 clicks this morning, despite stopping the drugs on Sunday evening. He's already peeing less, tho, so that's a mercy and a good sign.

Sending out love and hugs from Boston!

@mrs-b You look fabulous! What does the mug say? I couldn’t read it..It’s probably because the cleaning products have blurred my vision..ugh

Your townhouse sounds wonderful. I am
definitely getting a smaller house next time. I agree that at my stage of life I need things easier to maintain. My husband disagrees so we will have to compromise. I hope I don’t cave..

Thank you for saying such things about my house. I enjoy moving in and decorating. I will look forward to doing it again if we ever get there..

It was sent to me by Missy a short while back and says "Sending you healing vibes". Bless her. <3

HI:

@MamaBee I'll second @Austina that you live in a mini hotel! Are both your homes equally large? We've downsized considerably with our last move.

@Austina I love a rancher/bungalow. Grew up in one. Your house looks great. No neighbours?

@junebug17 nice to see you! Glad you are keeping well.

@mrs-b your Cali place sounds great!

Life continues on its dumpy way.......Mom fell again, not waiting for the nurse. :(sad I am very bored at home. Brisk outside so no cycling but went for a walk. Enjoyed the sunshine and needed to get away from the renovation noise here. I'm feeling grouchy!!!

cheers--Sharon

@canuk-gal My house is not that large. My entry hall and the hall upstairs are larger than average.. That ties into the square footage. I keep thinking it’s a mistake. When I get a minute I’ll take a pic of the hallway upstairs. I think that and my Mom’s little suite pumps up the square footage. The kitchen is a little larger but not that much. My family room is small..The house doesn’t appear to be that large to me. I wonder if it’s a mistake..If I can get it in order before the kids come I’ll take some pics.
I think the house in Maryland is 3010 sq. feet.

Oh goodness you don't have to explain! Apologies!!!! Sounds perfectly wonderful and I am so lazy I don't want to clean the space I have!!!!

Hi NIRDI’s! Thank you for the kind words of my ruby reset. I appreciate it.

@missy love all your great pictures. It is so pretty where you live. Marty did see a moose but didn’t get a picture of it; it wasn’t interested in posing. Go figure! That’s nice you work up a sweat - yes it makes you feel like you accomplished something. I so really get that warm I always say if I’m sweating you should take me to the hospital. Glad Greg’s colonoscopy went okay and good deal it’s less prep now than before. I hope you can get your medicine from Texas okay.

@Jemi Orion is the best. A year ago in December it was fun watching Betelgeuse fade - some of us were hoping we were going to be treated to a supernova. Hubble later found out the dimming was by a huge flare of gas and dust off the star. How was fossil hunting?

@canuk-gal was the $600 on your Macan? I know Mercedes and BMW definitely have way better maintenance coverage - plus they’ll come get your car and bring it back to you. We just always seem to prefer driving the Audi and Porsche. The high calorie lunch sounds good. Ooh happy hour sounds fun. Sorry they postponed your surgery. I like Keep Calm and Carry on - isn’t that Queen Elizabeth’s motto? I hate to hear your mom fell again, I hope she only hurt her pride and nothing more than a bruise. Glad you got to go for a nice walk.

@bling_dream19 your cooking and meal prep for the week sounds good.

@Austina your house is coming along and the layout looks great. I have to admit I was thinking all those great windows would make the house cold in Wyoming. LOL. Leave it to me to think of that! I love the views out the windows. Our floor plan has the guest bedrooms on the opposite side of everything; I call it our guest wing. I am finding it hard to come up with topics for the paper each month; I gear them towards general interest and hate to get too detailed because I fear less people will read them. I do like halos with gemstones as well. I hope you can get your learner’s permit soon and you can be zipping around in your new car. Sorry you were feeling poorly, I sure hope you are feeling better now.

@mrs-b wow that is awful the guy at the DMV threw all of your paperwork in the air. What the heck? When I was taking care of my parent’s estate; I went to the auto title department to get the pickup title transferred to me. Like you I took everything and more with me to get this accomplished. I stand in line, get up to the window and the lady fills all sorts of documents out, stamps this, signs that and was about to approve it all then she says “oh he hasn’t been dead for 30 days yet”. It had been 28 days - I truly wanted to ask - do you think he’ll be more dead in 2 days? She tells me to bring back all of these papers on Monday and we can finish the title transfer. I go back Monday, get a different lady who says “these aren’t the right papers” and tears them all up and we start again. Yes, cakes need adjustments for high altitude; usually less oil, more water, add a little flour and hopefully they turn out okay. Tell me more about gingerbread angel cake - 2 of my favorite things. That sounds delicious. I hate to hear Tim’s meds are causing him so much trouble - I hope he is doing better today and the doctors can find a happy medium to get him back on his medicine. Glad to hear your back is doing okay for you. Keeping you and Tim in my thoughts. I enjoyed hearing your housing history - and totally chuckled you and Tim don’t host many balls. Marty wanted to move to the country when we bought this house but since he traveled so much I didn’t want to deal with a well and rural internet and electricity. Now that he is home all the time I kind of wish we’d gone that route. Oh well.

@MamaBee nice to have your son, DIL and the boys are coming to visit. No worries on the house - they are coming to see you not the house. Like @missy said that is a lot of house to clean! It’s nice to have lots of room though.

@junebug17 that will be nice to have your sister nearby in SC. I was just chatting with someone the other day about our trip to SC. I totally enjoyed the beach.

We had big, pretty snowflakes today but hopefully they stopped already. It did get darned cold again. Work has been hectic and my boss is super grumpy, sadly today I had to interact with him more than recently. Oh well.

Whiteflash is checking to see if they can get me diamond jackets for 4mm stones; if not I might just get the stones remounted in different settings - halo or dangle.

Take care.
Marcy

Oh goodness you don't have to explain! Apologies!!!! Sounds perfectly wonderful and I am so lazy I don't want to clean the space I have!!!!

There’s nothing to apologize for! I’m thinking it really must be a mistake. My husband thinks maybe they are counting the finished basement. It’s a large area down there. That’s David’s domain. He loves to go down there after dinner to watch a movie before bed. It’s the only time we’re separated. I love him to pieces but I love that hour and a half. :)

@Austina, Your new home is going to be gorgeous. The layout sounds perfect and all those windows are going to be stunning. It’s so exciting to see the progress.

Junebug17, I’m glad you had a nice time in SC. I remember how beautiful your beach pictures were. Are you happy to be back In NJ? How are your son and daughter doing?

@MamaBee, I used to wonder how you managed taking care of everyone and cook. Now I wonder how you take care of the house LOL. Your houses are beautiful Mamabee. How fun you get to spend time with your son, DIL and the little ones this weekend. Your grandson will be so excited to see you. Is you mom doing okay? Have covid numbers come down at the nursing home and in your area?

@marcy, I can’t wait to see what you do with the earrings. Are you enjoying your ruby ring? Do you usually start seeing snow this early?

@mrs-b, I hope your husband starts feeling better soon. You have had so much going on lately. You must be thrilled that you are able to put your back surgery off for a while.

@canuk-gal, I’m sorry your mom fell. I hope she didn’t injure herself. Can they put an alarm on her bed so the nurse knows if she gets out of bed? Although at that point it’s probably too late. They did that to my mom during one of her hospital stays.

My niece called to say she is pregnant. That was exciting news. The weather has been beautiful this week. We went shopping all afternoon and out to dinner. Thats all that’s exciting in my world.

GM girls and it's Wonderful Wednesday!

@marcy LOL about if you are sweating you tell Marty to take you to the hospital haha. Glad your big pretty snowflakes stopped already. I like the snow if it doesn't stick haha. Good luck with WF and the earrings. How about dangle and halo?
Big hugs and I hope you are feeling well.

@canuk-gal I am so sorry about your mom and hope she is OK. I hope she isn't hurt. I wish the situation were different. I wish life wasn't so challenging. You and your mom continue to be in my thoughts. Hugs.

@mrs-b aww I am glad you enjoy and use it. You look beautiful in that photo. But then again you are beautiful outside and in and it shows. You are always on my mind and I am keeping good thoughts for you and Tim. How is he feeling? Big hugs.

@MamaBee your homes are both gorgeous and decorated beautifully. Your taste in impeccable. Enjoy your son ,DIL and grandkids this weekend and I am sending hugs to all of you.

@junebug17 that is lovely your sister bought a house near you in SC. I am glad you had a nice visit there. Our NJ visit hasn't ended yet lol. This is the longest stretch we have ever been at the beach house. Ever. 17 months now and counting I believe. Thanks for the good wishes and right back at ya. Hope your DD and DS are well and everything is going smoothly. Take care.

@Austina your new home is beautiful. I especially love that it is one story. Much easier and IMO a superior layout. I love the feel of your new home. I love the layout. Thank you so much for the wonderful photos. It's going to be a long while (if at all) re the meds. Just wanted to give you a heads up. I called them yesterday and unfortunately they didn't pass the inspection from the feds. And the feds are tough on compounding pharmacies.

Most of you probably don't know the government (in bed with big pharma) is trying to take away the rights of compounding pharmacies from making meds (in the next year or less) and if that happens many of my meds become unobtainable and unaffordable. The commercial prep are tens of times more expensive and not covered by insurance. And many meds have no commercial prep anyway. And sadly I think some people will become suicidal if this happens. Many people depend on compounding meds for quality of life issue. It is a serious matter. Big pharma is evil because they care only about their profits which are being taken away by compounding pharmacies which have helped hundreds of thousands of people. But I digress.

All this to say I will keep you posted but it won't be anytime soon, if at all. Anyway I LOVE the way your house is shaping up but I also know it doesn't suck in the meantime to be with Adam and Kim after all your time away from them during the pandemic. Enjoy it to the max. Big hugs.

Hi to everyone else. Sending all who I love big hugs and well wishes.
We had a great ride yesterday. It was chilly but hey it's October.
Today I have a telemedicine call in the AM and then off cycling.
Next two weeks after this one lots of appointments and then the dreaded biopsy.
I called the gyn office as they forgot to send the other meds needed before the biopsy and turns out she forgot and is out of the office til my appointment but fortunately the surgical coordinator knows I need the meds and had the NP fax them in. So hopefully that went through. I will find out today.

Enjoy a sweet day lovely ladies.

I love how the light always changes in autumn. It reminds me of a Hopper or Cardinal painting. Autumn light is my favorite.

Good morning! This is my upstairs hallway. I think that’s why the square footage is higher. The bedrooms aren’t that large. A640783D-2FCF-45DB-A70B-64A3504323E9.jpeg76F2C339-1638-43CF-BDFD-851A15EDCB97.jpeg
I’m still cleaning..ugh

Thank you Sharon..You didn’t see me strategically moving things out of view! Haha

Hello lovelies

Thank you for the house love, yes, we’re finally feeling really excited now that all the stress of getting here is over!

You made me laugh with your comment about moving everything out of the way to take the photo @MamaBee. One way to cure S of his big house addiction, get him to wet dust every single spindle in the staircases! It looks beautiful and good taste obviously runs in the NIRDIS if @canuk-gal has the same runners!

Thanks for letting me know @missy, I’ll wait to hear from you. It’s just a crazy situation you’re in. Hope the telemedicine call went well today, and try not to stress out too much about the next 2 weeks, one day at a time. It’s pretty cool here first thing in the morning, but is still warm during the day, glad you got your ride in yesterday, and had a good ride today.

We do have neighbours @canuk-gal, we specifically chose a plot that is on a block of 6 houses, 3 back to back, and ours in the middle. The plots are quite wide, so we won’t be too close either side.

That’ll be fun having your sister close by in SC @junebug17, I’m sure there’ll be lots to do for them moving in and getting it how they want it. Hope DS & DD are both keeping well.

What lovely news @Calliecake, congratulations to your niece. Sounds like a good day, shopping and eating out.

Thanks @marcy, I still didn’t feel great on Sunday, but by the evening, I felt pretty normal again, well as normal as I can be! I hope you hear back from WF soon about the jackets, it’s fun to have something in the pipeline to look forward to.

We debated having a ballroom @mrs-b, but decided against it, as like you, we rarely host them these days  The new house is fractionally larger than our old home, I think 100 sq ft, but I keep telling Colin it feels a lot smaller to me somehow. We could’ve gone smaller, but I’m not sure I’m ready to downsize again yet. We lived in a bungalow before, when Adam was tiny, and it was so much easier being on one level.

I got up at 5am and we left at 6am to take Adam to the airport, at that time of the morning, it only took 30 minutes. After dropping him off, Kim took me to Pflugerville (that always makes me thing of Dr Seuss), as it has a large DPS. We arrived just after 7am and there were already 20 or more people queueing outside. About 7.30am some came out and asked people to form 2 lines, one with appts and ones without. There were 5 people ahead of us in the no appt line, and the guy said he’d be checking everyone’s documents to make sure they’d brought the correct paperwork. 3 lots of people ahead of us didn’t have the right paperwork, so we were luck to get ticket 2 of the few available for people with no appts. We were given an appt at 8.55am, so we went and sat in the car until we could go in. We waited about 45 mins and got a really helpful lady who checked all my paperwork, took my photo, gave me an eye test and gave me my learner’s permit :appl:

I have to watch another video, then I can take my test, which I’ll do with a local driving school. She said I’d be able to get a next day appt to get my full licence after the test  I’m too tired to watch the video today, but will do it tomorrow and book my test, then I’ll be legal:mrgreen:

Sending love and hugs to all the lovely NIRDIs :wavey:

Nirdi shoutout! So much to catch up on!
Lots going on here with family and home. I'm working on pictures. I'd like to share the butterfly DK made and I just adore it. I wear it as a pendant and it hangs like she's flying. @mrs-b had the genius idea of turning her into a hair clip! You always have the best ideas. The center is a light pink pad sapphire bought from a lovely PSer. Working on pics for a couple of other pieces. 20211020_230512.jpg
@missy always thinking about you my friend. It's legging season! Long live the icecream! We just found a farm that we want to visit that makes their own icecream and we are hoping to get there in the next few weeks. I don't think I'm dressing up for Halloween, boo, but I'll definitely be festive with my witches headband and wearing orange and purple and matching jewelry of coarse lol.
I truly hope your hubby is feeling better @mrs-b and I'm so thrilled for you that surgery is not needed and your treatments are working. That is really wonderful. Black bean soup is done and soon to be added to the freezer. We got a small stand alone freezer and it really feels good to have food in there. Cook n freeze cook n freeze is my new hobby.
@Austina wow your new home is going to be spectacular! And now that you're there you can really enjoy the process. I hope you've gotten some delicious food! I love Tex Mex food!
I'm exhausted. Thinking about everyone who posts and reads here and sending love and hugs to all!

From our day yesterday. Picture perfect and a joy in every way.

@Austina your new home to be is beautiful and I am super excited for you. Now you can enjoy it from right there and check in whenever you want to. Much easier doing it this way. Hope all the motor vehicle issues get cleared up ASAP. I think you can never go wrong by going a little bit bigger because if you go smaller that is it. But a little bit bigger you cannot lose. I mean who ever says they have too much storage space right LOL. My telemedicine call got off to a very rocky start as they tried giving me another provider. A newbie. Ummm nope. I am still dealing with bleeding and they give me a new NP who just started with HRT? No way. So I maybe not very calmly, lol, told her no offense to her but I insist on M (my initial NP). M was on another call so I patiently waited (still had stuff to do at home so it was OK) and M called me 30 minutes later and 45 minutes after the appointment was supposed to begin. They won't make that mistake again. But ultimately she did everything I asked her to do and RXd more P and another med and extra OHPC. She was happy I was getting a biopsy and is allowing me to continue for now on all my HRT. But depending on the biopsy we will see. My next call with her is after I get my biopsy results November 17th. So all is just waiting for the biopsy and the results. Thanks for asking and thanks for listening and caring. I am glad your situation with the bleeding was easily managed and the best I can hope for right now is that the biopsy comes back negative. Hugs to you and have a wonderful Thursday.

@canuk-gal how is your mom doing and how are you holding up? I hope your weather is cooperating and you are enjoying some outdoor time.

@MamaBee gorgeous homes. As I wrote before your taste is impeccable. Love it all. Have fun tomorrow and this weekend with your sweet family.

@mrs-b hugs to you and Tim. I hope with each day he is feeling better and stronger and more like himself. I totally get how pain can make you into another version of yourself. As well as feeling down about health issues. I also know he will bounce back into the old and lovable Tim. Hugs and many healing vibes.

@bling_dream19 aww you will look beautiful no matter what you wear for Halloween. And that DK Butterfly is the bees knees. Swoon! I would love to see you wearing it as a pendant or hair clip. Just gorgeous. As for legging season haha I wore my summer leggings all summer so it never wasn't legging season for me :) I love my leggings too much to stop wearing them. My fave summer leggings being my shark leggings. The farm that makes their own ice cream sounds amazing. If you go please take some photos. And have fun! That would be a dream day trip for me. YUmmmmm. XOXO

@marcy hope all is going well. And you are feeling good. XOXO

@springerspaniel how is your week going? XOXO

@Slick1 please hug Bear from me and hope you are having a good week.

@Jemi hope you are enjoying your trip with Kine. Big hugs.

@sarahb thinking of you and sending lots of well wishes and hugs.

Hi to everyone else.

Great news the other day. I forgot to share it here. Greg doesn't have to go back to the office to work. Since he is at a senior level they will allow him to do what he wants. Woohoo. Though he still wants to retire I hope he decides to stay for a while. It is a sweet gig and they do need him. He runs his department. But it is a relief that if he wants he can stay and WFH.

We had a beautiful ride yesterday. It was unseasonably warm. 80! And sunny. It felt great.
We also visited our favorite puppies and they are just so sweet. I can never get enough of them.

Enough of my doggie love fest.
And Archie's dad gave us home grown catnip for our furry babies. Haven't given it to them yet. They will go crazy haha.
Hope everyone's furry and human babies are well and hugs to all.

One more photo. Ice cream. Of course. :)

@bling_dream19 Your butterfly necklace is so pretty! you have such a beautiful collection of pieces!
I hear you on exhausted. You are too young to know Carol Burnett…She did a skit on her show with her holding a bucket and a mop looking eternally exhausted. That’s what I feel like..
Your black bean soup sounds good right now. Yum! I love bean soup of all kinds…I‘m also a freezer..If I have an extra portion or two left from dinner it goes into the freezer. The trouble is because of getting ready for company tomorrow..I used them all up.

@missy I hope the time passes quickly until you get your biopsy. I hate when they switch providers on you at the last minute. I would have done the same thing. You need someone experienced. Even the experts are having trouble helping you fgs!
Archie and Luna are so sweet. S and I are saying no more dogs…The pain is too great. We said that for up to two years after Gordie passed. At that point I was checking rescues for another dog. I just love them too much.
I have a guy coming to replace a broken receiver in our sound system..I should say David’s sound system. He watches his movies downstairs with surround sound! We watch the regular tv upstairs..lol The boy/man is spoiled..❤️

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!! Lovely day here, 16C and sunny! woo hoo I'll take it!

Met a friend for lunch and felt hypoglycemic again. I'm going to see my Dr. on Tuesday. Twice in as many weeks is not good.

@missy your pictures were gorgeous! What lovely weather you are enjoying!!! And my Mom is much the same. Thanks for asking.

@MamaBee I remember Carol B and her mop. I'm sure your spotless house is just glowing!

@Austina good luck on the driving thingie. Where do you want to drive to??

Our Covid cases here are decreasing--so I hope work picks up soon. I am very bored.

cheers--Sharon
