I didn''t know that Houston had homes like that?
Wow!
hmmm...not sure how to respond to that one. Not sure if you think Houston is a hick/country/cowboy town? I believe we''rethe 4th or 6th largest sit in the US. Very metropolitan, thriving theatre district, ballet, symphony, opera. Largest medical center in the world, I believe. Extremely diverse, which is one of the reasons I love it here so much. Chinatown, one of the largest Viet communites in the US, Koreatown, HUGE hispanic community. Three relatively large universities, quite a few smaller ones. Two large medical schools...i could go on. NOT trying to be facetious, just I''ve met many non-texans who seem to have a rather skewed view of life hereDate: 9/13/2005 11:56:08 AM

Oh it is so funky and Modern....do you like the German style of interior decorating...you have to perfect house for it. YUMMY!
Guess what? Here in the Washington, DC Metropolitian Area we don''t have townhome like that! It''s so mondern. I saw some out in LA like that but I thought it was a LA thing. Also I haven''t been to Houston in 15 years and I don''t remember homes like that.Date: 9/13/2005 5:46:28 PM

stairs leading up to the second floor -- i really like the little art niche at the top, not sure what to do with it though -- any ideas? the stairs had some cute lighting fixtures too.
First thoughts were you could change the color of the back of the niche. Lots of options on that. And put a scuplture/art piece in. You might have to get a small pedestal. Something very simple/slick. www.homedecorators.com has lots of them, but Hobby Lobby might also.Date: 9/13/2005 11:17:15 PM
