I didn''t know that Houston had homes like that?
Wow!
We have GREAT homes down here!!

I am a custom home builder in an area just outside of Houston and we DO stay on top of the latest. Ya have to - or get eaten alive by competition.

Ginger it is a super townhouse, love the way it is finished out. I recently did a powder room with a pale golden crackle glass bowl sink, lit underneath. So pretty. Enjoy.

hmmm...not sure how to respond to that one. Not sure if you think Houston is a hick/country/cowboy town? I believe we''rethe 4th or 6th largest sit in the US. Very metropolitan, thriving theatre district, ballet, symphony, opera. Largest medical center in the world, I believe. Extremely diverse, which is one of the reasons I love it here so much. Chinatown, one of the largest Viet communites in the US, Koreatown, HUGE hispanic community. Three relatively large universities, quite a few smaller ones. Two large medical schools...i could go on. NOT trying to be facetious, just I''ve met many non-texans who seem to have a rather skewed view of life here

I love the floorplans, kitchen and spacious living room. I''m a big window/view person, so the large windows definitely bring more light and life into your home. Congrats, and enjoy!

We appreciate your sharing more pictures of your lovely new home Ginger! We''ll need to see more after you move in and decorate. You will have so much fun making it your own!!!

Hey, I am looking for english web pages... German is very sleek clean lined almost heavy looking. I love it, though perhaps it is rebellion to my upbringing where I always felt like I had gone back to colonial america and was not to touch.

I love the pictures, ginger!

Take more when you move in!

Guess what? Here in the Washington, DC Metropolitian Area we don''t have townhome like that! It''s so mondern. I saw some out in LA like that but I thought it was a LA thing. Also I haven''t been to Houston in 15 years and I don''t remember homes like that.

Yeah, I have an idea. Call me! I''m an artist.

If I can''t live with you in your home, maybe some of my art can.

WOW!! Very cool!! Looks so classy! Congratulations!

What an amazing townhome- I''m in love with your kitchen especially, but the whole place is just beautiful! I can''t wait to see more photos and how you decide to decorate.

I''m fighting the green jealousy monster- homes here on LI now have a median price of $500,000 and that gets you nothing compared to your new home. Your laundry room is nicer than my whole apartment

Congratulations, you''ve certainly earned this wonderful new place to call home!

First thoughts were you could change the color of the back of the niche. Lots of options on that. And put a scuplture/art piece in. You might have to get a small pedestal. Something very simple/slick. www.homedecorators.com has lots of them, but Hobby Lobby might also.

I have built lots of houses with niches and when I go back later, the new homeowner almost always gives in to the urge to put a floral arrangement in their niche.

Love your new place.

Ginger,

Congrats on purchasing such a beautiful home!!

I''m the type that likes to entertain and stay at home, so when I see a house like that, I can only imagine all the fun memories you''ll create!

Buying a house is the biggest purchase a person can make, so enjoy this wonderful time!!! Congrats again. I am so happy for you, and of course a little jealous too. Who wouldn''t be? That is a gorgeous home! I love everything about it.
