Pinky pictures are done

Mochi,
It looks peachy in the first few pictures, but pink in the almost last few. Is it just photography or it really looks peachy under certain lighting? It''s still a pretty and pleasant coloured tourmaline.

I think it''s more pinkish. Barry described it as coral/pink. It may have a bit of peach undertone but it''s mainly pink. I think it''s lovely, but I really need to stop buying pink stones. I seem to gravitate toward pinks and purples.

I think the color is gorgeous and so are your other pinks. Even professional gem photographers have trouble getting the real life color to tranlslate accurately onto film. Taking pics of gems (and diamonds) is hard!

I never tire of seeing pics of that one. I gravitate towards minty stones, much like you gravitate towards pinks and purples.

Thank you for your kind words, gemgirl. It sure is a challenge to photograph these gems, thats for sure! The mounting is a LOGR, alot of people here in PS have this style, just a classic. I did upgrade on the diamonds.

I will probably set this pinky in a yg setting, also.

The ring is one of my favorite, that particular tourmaline is so pretty, another Barry creation. I''m thinking maybe a yg for this EC pink tourmaline and same style ring setting (for EC of course). What do you think?? Should I go rg??
