TGal -- those pics of Amelia are so adorable!! I can''t get over how cute she is!

So I''m happy to finally be (officially) part of this thread! Instead of posting everything twice, I thought I''d let you all know that the girls'' birth story and pictures are in the pregnant thread
1.gif

jen

Jen I just saw the pics on the PG thread. Those two girls are gorgeous! The whole family, all seven of you, are beautiful! You are a busy lady! Rest up and enjoy that wonderful family!

tacori you should totally come visit SF!! it would be so fun to have a GTG with the kiddies. i said that we were thinking about getting B a wagon, well, DH went and got B the radio flyer wagon that i was looking at. so now we have that wagon, his new car, and 4 strollers! obsessed much?!? i can''t even believe it. but we let friends borrow a bunch of stuff all the time, so it''s not like i have all this stuff just sitting there in the garage, well some of it is.

snlee where in sf are you? not the exact location, but the area?

jas your boys are so cute!!! and you look great too!

burk so glad to hear that T likes the new daycare and that all of them are loving her too!! the dinner party is a big pain, but hopefully it will be ok. i''ve already faced that there will only be so much that i can control, so i''m just going to have to deal with whatever happens. and we are doing a day time party for him too at the little gym most likely. it''s going to be one crazy day!

Tgal, don''t get me wrong, the poop stain is precious. You can threaten to show all her friend the photo when she is all grown up and going thru teenager phase. Little B is always pooping just when we''re stepping out of the door. It always drive me nuts...

snlee, D is so cute~

Thanks Tacori, the only place on little B that will plump up are his cheeks.Tessa is just beautiful~

thanks lili!

qtiekiki, sorry to hear about the catheter. little B had one in him when he was at the ER, I cried my eyes out. Glad to hear everything is ok.

Thanks puffy! I just wish he will gain weight some where else other than his cheeks.

Thanks Burk! Happy to hear Tessa is a hit at the new daycare.

jas, your boys are too cute! You look good & skinny!

Tgal- amelia is adorable. i love the picture where she is playing with her daddy. so precious. As for out of control bday parties...they really get nuts around here dont they? I just went to one in PV that was so over the top. I thought I did too much, guess not!

Tacori- yes it is bittersweet. it is pretty exciting though, he is doing so much more than before and its so exciting now that he is walking around and understanding so much that we say. i am not convinced I will have another one, so i still really miss the baby stage. that said, i had an amazing pregnancy and labor. I labored at home for 12 hours, went to the hospital was between 7-8cm and he was born 2 hours later with no drugs. To this day it was the most amazing and empowering experience of my life, as much as I''m unsure of not having another baby, it makes me sad to think I may not get to experience that again!

Jas- Jackson is a doll! seriously, its sweet little faces like that that make me miss the infant stage so much! Ian has always had a huge head and its still in the 90th percentile.

Q- Ian had xrays before we were even discharged from the hospital. He had a little cough and they were convinced it was an infection (it wasnt) and it was so scary. I blame it on being UCLA which is a research hospital, but it was terrifying at the time. My thoughts are with your little one!

Ian is much better. He still hasnt been eating or drinking much, so I bought some of that step2 formula to ensure he is getting lots of nutrients. It is so hard to see your baby sick!

The pumpkin patch was awesome, even if it was just in an old car wash lot on a busy street! Ian had a blast, and I got some great pics...here are a few.

pumpkin collage.jpg

oh, and here are a few of Ian's costume. We went to a friends and then out trick or treating Sunday night. There were so many kids out in the little push cars and I really want one, but if it is anything like my radio flyer, it wont fit in the back of my car
7.gif

Tgal- are you going to the riviera on friday for trick or treating? If so, say hi if you recognize us!

costume collage1.jpg

I love your babies, ladies!!

Seriously, every day I visit, hoping for a picture that will melt my heart.

Today is no exception.

Jas, your boys are gorgeous. I like big heads!! :)

Ms. Flutter, cute baby pumpkin!! What did your dog dress up as? A dinosaur? I always thought that would be cute, a al The Flintstones and Dino.

9.gif

Thank you for sharing, ladies!!!

Tac, bless her!! T''s eyes look like they are darkening!
30.gif
30.gif
She is such a little lady now !

ms. flutter Ian is adorable. What a serious cutie. And I LOVE his outfit. SOOOO cute!

You guys are so good for my ego. Thanks. As far as "looking skinny," I''ve learned to hold a baby or two in front of any trouble zones I have (which for me would be that area between my neck and my ankles.) I do have a skinny nose, though, so I try to feature that in all my photos.

Tacori -- thanks for the support. It is hard to feel so isolated...I don''t have tons of RL gal pals, and the ones I have either live far away or don''t have kids and aren''t thrilled about coming to Poop Town. And don''t be jealous (see above), but thanks.
iluv -- thank you, I think they''re pretty adorable, too. I did LOL at your labor story...not cuz it''s funny that it happened to you, but because you told it so well!
Snlee -- you are the greatest cheerleader ever. Thanks!
Puffy -- thanks for the compliment!
Hello Bobo! I cannot get over how cute your avatar is!
Ms Flutter -- I am trying to enjoy the infant stage whenever I can. I know I will long for the days they are my little koala bears. Ian is one handsome lad...his eyes are mesmerizing! And his costume is so precious! (love the doggie too!)

Thanks everyone for all the sweet things you said! It''s such a relief to me for these girls to be here and healthy and NOT in my belly anymore
2.gif

Jackie -- yes, you are unfairly gorgeous
1.gif
How *dare* you set the standard -- ESPECIALLY with twins -- so high!
2.gif
Logan is darling, but Jackson seems to share your sense of humor, doesn''t he? He has quite the look on his face that''s too cute for words... they are both so darned huggable!

MsFlutter -- oh I LOVED those pics -- what a gorgeous little man you have!

girls are waking up...bbl...
jen

iluv, that second doctor sounds ANNOYING! Guess all that matters is your little boy made it into this world safely. Still...

snlee, yeah it is hard traveling with a baby. Maybe I can convince DH to go BEFORE her second b-day (so we don''t have to buy a seat for her
27.gif
) My sister is getting married in August so maybe September. 5 weeks was when T started social smiling. Once you see that everything else doesn''t matter. D will start showing his sweet personality soon!

puffy, that would be so fun! DH probably thinks I am crazy b/c I seem to be on a GTG mission. The wagon will be great for trick or treating.

Bobo, thanks. Little B is just too cute. I love his cheeks! He''ll gain weight. Is his doctor worried?

MsF, glad that good L&D do exist. I always remind myself of Curly b/c she has two awesome L&Ds. Ian is so handsome. I LOVE the outfit you had him in for the pumpkin patch. So perfect! And his halloween costume was so cute! Do you give him step 2 formula in a bottle or sippy?

Lor, I think I am ready to fill in the "eye color" part in her baby book...I really think hazel best describes them. Some days they look blue, some days green, other days gray. My one neighbor saw her yesterday on our walk and was shocked. She said she looks like a toddler not a baby anymore (it had been months since she saw her).

Jas, I do not believe your lies. You look beautiful! Tessa stole my beauty for sure. Oh well. No one looks at me anymore anyways...it''s all about the baby. I feel lonely too sometimes. My neighbor has twins and I go over there a few times a week. Sometimes even w/o T! Haha. I don''t mind holding or changing one. The good news is those babies are tickets to NEW mama friends. The mama bond has proven to be strong. Once you start going out with them you will meet more moms.

Tacori~I can''t imagine how 3 hours of pushing and an infection could not take a toll! I''m off to Amazon to check out the car and send my sister a link!
9.gif
You''ll have to take pics of the cupcake and flower for us too!
3.gif
My mom hasn''t made much progress on making her own so I think I''ll have to place another order.

jas~Your little guys are so handsome. And such a sense of humor they have.
9.gif

iluvcarats~You poor thing! It''s not like delivering a child is easy and then you get stuck with a doctor that doesn''t have a clue!! I can see why you''re done now!
2.gif

snlee~Thanks!

puffy~Thanks! I''m sure all of the work it is taking to plan B''s party will be a distant memory as you''re enjoying yourself and watching B have fun!

msflutter~Ian is such a doll. What a darling costume!!

jen~Said it over in the PG thread, but what a beautiful family!!

Jas Honey, you''re PRETTY! I saw your picture and thought WOW! I can''t believe you just had twins.
I felt really isolated too. Especially in the beginning. DH was never home, and I have no family in town. Once it was easier to get out of the house, I started meeting people. I don''t have a ton of friends, just a handful of good friends. One of my friends I met at a playground, and one I met at Starbucks. You are on the west coast, right?

Tacori All''s well that ends well. My point was (before I got self indulgently off track) that the second time around was easier.

oh my goodness, so many cute pictures to log onto.

snlee- I can''t believe little D is one month old already. love the teddy bear pics!!

tacori-tessa is just so pretty. love the pics

tgal- I know, I can''t believe our little one''s are going on 7 months either. Love the pics of Amelia too, she is just too precious..

jackie-your boys are dolls. it makes me miss when Jake was that tiny and would just sit and cuddle and sleep on me. enjoy every minute because it does go by so fast.

msf- Ian looks so handsome at the pumpkin patch. the costume pics are great too.

here''s a recent pic of Jake. he''s starting to figure out the crawling thing. he gets himself up on all fours all of the time now..he''s close....

Mrs Salvo, Jake is adorable, look at those big eyes of his. I love his little polo shirt, tee hee. My grandsons uses to wear those too. They are too darn cute. Does he have little flannel shirts yet with jeans??? Those are so cute too. He is just a little doll. Please give him a smoochy for me ok?

Linda

Jen, we are happy you are now part of this thread too (although, weren''t you always since you were the mom of three before? Hehehe.)

snlee, wow D changed quite a bit in a month. Freaky that they actually get CUTER eh?
30.gif

Tacori, a few things...

First, if you bought the clips at mom4life, they only have the "little girl" clips. Giddy Giddy DOES make big girl clips which are an inch longer, and they do make the garden style you bought in the big girl, I believe. I think they look adorable on her, but for the price if you want bigger ones, maybe you should return them? Chloeinstyle does have the big girl ones.

Second, carseat...I still have yet to install ours (going to do it mid nov after we come back from Vegas) so I don''t know where it is on the seat. However it is definitely on the box if you still have it. Only the month and year though. There must be a full date of manufacture somewhere on the seat though because I have heard people give exact dates on the carseat forum.

lili, haha...Hurricane J, I love it! She''s just too smart for her own good that one!

Aw, QT, that must have been icky to go through. Glad everything is OK....

Puffy, B''s bday sounds swank too! And trust me, I am in NO HURRY to have Amelia be mobile...for one reason: 15 hour flight to Australia. I hear it''s so much easier when they don''t want to crawl everywhere. Amelia is not as advanced as Jadelyn (or as we can see here, Jake), so I don''t think I have to worry too much.

Burk, SO glad to hear the new daycare is working out. It must have been stressful trying to find a solution so quickly!!

Jackie, love having you here...you snarky wit is so derned funny. You have a beautiful nose AND face AND body, but not sure about that BRAIN since you seem to think you don''t! Crazy lady!
3.gif
2.gif
Love those funny captions almost as much as your sweet adorable boys. No giddy clips for them, we get the message, hee!

Bobo, hehehe, it''s not really "precious" but I was too lazy to photoshop it out before posting so I put it up there at the risk of "ew" factor! Funny that my mom actually didn''t mind the poo pics. Nice new av of little B...his hair is growing in nicely!

msflutter, your camera and skills are serving you well! Great photos! I know which patch you went to...just passed by the old car wash the other day and noticed it was a pumpkin patch. It looks pretty good considering it''s here in blah ole Torrance! No, we are not going to the Riveria village...not sure what the plans are yet.

MrsS, hehehe, look at that pic of Jake. So lovable...looks like he knows he''s onto something! He''s close for sure. Amelia is just wriggling her legs "swimming" style but can''t get on all fours yet. However we have been practicing sitting and I am happy to report she can now sit just fine. Yay!

So I may have a diaper bag fetish, which is SO not like me because I am not into shopping (nor have I ever been into purses). However I have always been into practical bags like bagpacks, etc. Anyway, I''m fixated on a diaper bag which costs nearly SIX HUNDRED dollars. No, I''m not going to buy it...I''m not nuts, but I still like it. Probably because I''ve been on the hunt for the perfect burgundy colored bag for years and this one is a really simple looking burgundy leather diaper bag which doesn''t look like a diaper bag. It''s actually laid out quite practically for an expensive diaper bag, but the REALLY practical side of me knows that expensive bags and things like sippy cups don''t go well together.

*sigh*

What kind of diaper bag are all you gals using?

mrsF Ian is toooo cute!! that pumpkin patch looks pretty good considering it was an old car wash!

mrsS jake is so handsome! it looks like he is going to start crawling any day now.

tacori the wagon is going to be perfect on friday just because we are going with friends who have babies too so they can all take turns in the wagon. still have not put it together, but will get there. i got the final proof for B''s invites and i love them! i guess they are worth every dollar spent, but i still wish it wasn''t so darn expensive! DH thought i was nuts when i told him how much they cost. ok, we will definitely have to have a GTG if you are ever around the SF area.

tgal believe me, if it was up to me, we wouldn''t be having a dinner for B at this steakhouse, which is like $50 per person! but it''s for family to celebrate with him, and they are all looking forward to it. not only do i have a craziness for strollers but i love diaper bags too. the one that i originally got was not very practical for a diaper bag and it was $2500 almost. i know, i am crazy!! but the one that i use most of the time is around $900 and it is practical. but most of the time, i just use my purses and put B''s stuff in it because my purses are pretty big but not enormous. if you can justify spending the money and it is practical for you, then i would say get it, as long as you are using it.

Hey that makes my 600 dollar bag look like a steal? Which ones do you have? Maybe I might like them better!

I''ve been getting mine second hand in excellent used condition (pretty much new as there are women are are nuts about diaper bags, buy them, and then don''t use them because they have so many). I got the Fleurville Mothershop on mamabargains the other day for $46 bucks and am going to use that for carry on for our Australia trip. I have a JuJuBe MiniBe backpack which I love for quick errands, then got a JuJuBe BeTween since I am carrying a bit more for her now. My first bag was a JuJuBe Packabe which I got for a steal but I haven''t used it much yet because it''s big and a bit heavy when empty. I think I''l use it a lot more when she becomes a toddler and I want my hands free. I also have an escape pod which I like because it''s so slim and I throw it in her Maclaren basket for quick trips.

So a fancy bag would just be for the sake of having a fancy bag. Most of my diaper bag "needs" are taken care of.

tgal i have the LV one and gucci one. but i got the LV one before i gave birth and started going out so i didn''t realize that it was the most expensive but non practical bag in the world! the inside was not waterproof, actually the outside isn''t either! it was big and bulky and just hard to carry overall. the gucci one is a bit better and i do use that one more, but most of the time, i just use my regular bags unless i know i will be out for a long period of time then i will use the gucci one because it fits more and it is easier to get stuff out because of all the pockets. ALL my diaper bags need to be taken care of, which sucks! i recently got a juicy couture nylon diaper bag that i will use for short trips and is a messenger style which for me now is a must because i need both hands to hold on to B.
i''ve been meaning to ask, how you are liking your camera?

Thanks Puffy...yeah, that''s kind of what I don''t get...diaper bags that can''t handle mess. The problem is that while I do like my diaper bags for functionality, stylish, they are not. The one I am looking at is the Not Rational Hansel in the burgundy color.

I love the camera, although I still have yet to learn how to really use it! It''s easy to manage and feels right in my hands. I was experimenting with the small flash I bought in some of those pics with Amelia. I was bouncing the light off the ceiling, hence why Amelia''s face is really illuminated in the one where TGuy is throwing her up.

I need to learn more about aperture and shutter speed to catch what I want to catch. But what I LOVE about using a DSLR is that if I am looking through the viewfinder and see something I want to capture, I can get it if my finger is quick enough!

Tacori
Eee....look at how sweet Tessa is with her giddy giddy clips
5.gif

Can she get any cuter, especially the one in her wagon.
She looks like she's enjoying it.

puffy
There are some nice pumpkin patches down here, but they are a bit of a drive.
With J not being a good traveler, I'm sort of limited to places within 20 miles :P
Anyway, this place has a pony ride, train ride and a petting zoo (if you want to call having 3 sheeps a petting zoo)
9.gif

I'll post some pictures later and you can see how pathetic it was.
It's not as nice as the one MsFlutter went to.

MsFlutter
Cute pumpkin patch and halloween pictures.
You know, Ian is looking more and more like your little self.
He's slim down quite a bit from his 9 months huh?
BTW, where is this pumpkin patch that you went to?
It is so much nicer than the one we went.

QT
Sorry Meena had to go through all that for the scan.
Glad to hear that she's ok and that everything checked out fine.

Burk
Glad to hear that Tayva is liking her new daycare.
She's always a hit wherever she goes -- ms social butterfly huh?

jackiejas
LOL, your boys are too cute.
Love the expression on Logan -- I can totally see him scheming to take over the world!

MrsS
Wow, look at how big Jake is.
He's such a handsome little guy.
You can see in his face that he's already planning on where he's heading first once he is mobile
5.gif

And I have to say he is so stylish too -- love his outfit.

TGal
Hehe, I just used the similac diaper bag that the hospital gave.
Since J is a PITA in the car, we haven't really travel much more north than Pasadena.

lili, I believe msf went to the one on Pacific Coast Highway near Hawthorne in Torrance?

OK ladies, I am doing an informal study on video editing. I posted a thread in BWW, but am interested in your input as a mom...

Do you do a lot of video taping of your little ones? If so what do you do with the tapes? Do you do any editing? If there were something geared toward you as a mom that was easy to learn and cost effective, would you buy the product?

"This one is too small"

TGal
We just use the video feature on the camera and record some of her activities,
so can't help you with that.

Here''s one for your amusement at how blah the pumpkin patch was.

Last one of her toofie.

lili goodness...J is so darling!!! i love that last pic of her teeth! she has the cutest features! well, think of it this way, at least you got to take her to a pumpkin patch and have some cute pictures of her. she looks like she is doing very well standing.
