tacori, i totally thought of you tonight b/c i was over at my daughter''s friends house meeting her mom who is a nurse at a local hospital here. anyway, the hospital just made a brand new maternity ward that is so plush and nice and I was saying it *almost* makes me want to have another baby, just so I can go stay there..lol. She then told me that they give out vera bradley diaper bags to all the new mommy''s. pink and green if you have a girl and a blue one if you have a boy. they give out some fancy chocolate that is made in this area too. anyway, I thought I may have to go for #4 for the free diaper bag

Linda, this year did fly by. A year ago I was pushing and now here she is full of giggles and "stories."

Skippy, thanks! We also made mummy dogs (hotdogs wrapped in cresent rolls cut into strips) and pumpkin ham and chesse (wrapped in pie crust cut with a pumpkin cookie cutter) plus had queso, salsa, chips, hummas, fruit salad, veggie tray...

misspinky, thanks...they didn''t come out as pretty as the magazine but seeing how its been 10+ years since I have decorated ANY baked goods I thought they came out pretty good.

MrsM, thank you! BTW your daughter is a mini you! So sweet.

Jas, since you are in the thick of it there were times where I thought I would never make it to this day! I think the first 6 months are the hardest BY FAR! Really the first 4 but she started sleeping through the night at 6 so that was a turning point (for the positive) in all of our lives. Enjoy those boys! If you lived close by I would give you 10 cupcakes. We have a ridiculous amount left over. Oh well.

It's actually public. Vera Bradley is from this area and her headquarters are here so there is Vera bradley stuff everywhere. I totally agree though, not worth a forth..

Oh my goodness, those cupcakes are amazing and tessa looks like she is loving that cake.

MrsS, oh I guess that makes sense! Still...generous of Vera. I guess she can write it off. Haha. She did love the cake. She was humming and kicking her legs.

mer, actually I just remembered. It is b/c I tried to put a birthday hat on her and she got PISSED. This picture was actually in the wrong order...before we gave her a cupcake. Took both DH and I to calm her down. Haha.

I am back at home (we decided to come straight home last night instead of heading to my sister''s as planned). A looong day of travel (23 hours due to our flight being overbooked and thus having to take a different flight from spain to germany --ick) Dealing with some major jet lag but i really can''t complain. Cohen was a dream. He barely made a peep during the 9 hour flight and i fully expected him to be up at 3 am so when he was i told myself to just ''suck it up''. 5 countries in 16 days is a lot to recover from!

Feel like i''ve been gone for months....

I am going to try to catch up this aft and try to post a few pics (i have SO many) but i just wanted to say that the new
Halloween pics are the CUTEST things ever!!!!! And a happy belated b-day to our miss Tessa. I am so sad i missed all the excitement on here. Happy to be back

I can''t believe it''s been a year already. Tacori, you are an awesome mom, you should be proud of yourself!

As for my latest, Lucy had her one month appointment today and as I''ve been saying, she is a piggly wiggly!!! She was 7 lbs 14 oz at birth, dropped to 7 lbs 11 oz by the time we left the hospital, was up to 8 lbs at her 5 day doctor visit and today at 5 weeks and 3 days old she weighs...11 lbs 11oz!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe it although I shouldn''t be surprised because she really does love to eat!!!! She''s in th 95th percentile!!! She also grew from 21.5" to 22.25" which is the 80th percentile! Huge baby but the pedi was really pleased with her progress. Lily''s 18 month appt. is on Thursday so it will be interesting to see the differences. Lucy feels like a feather to me compared to Lily!

Speaking of the piglet, she''s hungry. More later....

Curly: on my goodness, Lucy is growing so quickly! Chloe was only 8lbs 12 oz at 1 month (born 7lbs 4oz)! You must be feeding her some good stuff . How''s it going with 2 little ones so far--are you getting any help?
