OK, meetings are over...

More on halloween costumes: boy it was fun to see all these over the weekend.

-Bobo, little B is too cute to be a scary lion! Hee.
-Misspinky, I have to say I am TOTALLY impressed you made that costume. She is adorable and the elephant trunk cracks me up!
-lili, that is ONE chic costume for J! I especially love the aerial shot of J scurrying away. That kid is amazing and she is just gorgeous. Hope Mr. lili is starting to collect baseball bats!

-Ella, the twins are darling, as usual. I laughed when I saw K going for G''s fireman hat! That girl is just the life the party and is interested in everything!
-Jackie, HILARIOUS! Leave it to you to find awesome infant costumes for your sweet boys!
-Burk, Tayva is one KNOCKOUT poodle. Those colors just suit your beautiful girl (I remember thinking the white/pink giddy flower clips looked so cute on her, so the poodle costume is full blown awesome for her on colors!)
-MrsM, have I said before that Amelia actually looks like a doll? She is so CUTE!
-Curly! Hot baby for a hot mama! Awww...sweet lucy...

Curly, Lucy''s doing well! 11 pounds seems so light to me now (and as you said, it is compared to your eldest).


Amelia is sitting like a champ now. But derned it, the girl STILL does not care to roll over from front to back. Weirdo. She was 7 months over the weekend and I just thought...eek, I have a 7 month old! Too fast! Too fast! It''s all moving too fast!!!!

I wish they could stay cuddly babies forever.

Lili, I know I say this everytime but your little J just gives me the fuzzies. I think it''s because she looks so mischievous (pardon my spelling - feeling braindead) and reminds me of Katelyn in that way! Like there''s always a "Gotcha!!" under the surface. Too too cute.

So I booked G & K''s first birthday party today (at Gymboree) and can''t believe that I''m going to have two one-year-olds in just a month. It''s crazy. They are SO active now - it''s a full-time job watching them! This age is very demanding but so rewarding too. Yes, the whining is setting in (ugh!!!) but then a minute later, they will both crawl over and climb on me to give me a hug, and that is just the best feeling in the world

jas12, welcome back! I hope we get to see some pictures from your trip! Sounds like you had a wonderful time.

TGal, Happy 7 months to Amelia! I know what you mean about too fast! At times I look at D and miss how tiny he was when he was first born. He's already getting so chubby, big, and heavy! It's going by too fast!

On Saturday night D slept 4.5 hours!

And since DH did a bottle-feeding, I slept 8 hours!

I kept waking up thinking that I nursed him recently and was so confused when I woke up at 8am to nurse him. When DH and I realized he slept 4.5 straight, we were so happy! Last night he slept 3-3.5 hours at a time. His fussy times seem to be during the day now. I'm happy that things are going smoother now. Hopefully it'll stay that way!

D can hold his head up for long periods of time when I'm burping him. He's getting strong! He's more alert now but it's hard to get pictures with his eyes wide open though. He still loves to do his one eye look (one eye open, one eye closed). I'm still waiting for real smiles! I keep telling myself any day now.

Okay. I have a few minutes to try and catch up!

Tgal~Thanks! I thought the poodle costume was quite appropriate. I think it goes with her skin/hair/eye combo well. As for diaper bags (I know this was discussed DAYS ago) I use my Oi Oi bag for everything. I love it. It's easy to clean, a good size and pretty cute (if I do say so myself). That being said, I was (and still am) in love with the coach bag that mrss has (I'm soooo jealous) and I'll probably end up caving and buying it too. If you love it and can afford it, I say treat yourself!! Amelia is a darn cute panda I think!

we had a blast trick or treating! he was quite the hit too!! sure, he fell over a few stairs here and there, but he had a great time. and of course so did i, but i tell ya, that winnie the pooh costume was HOT!! i don''t think i am doing that again.

i can''t believe my little boy''s going to be 1 in about another month. i''m excited but so sad at the same time. i''m in the process of looking for stuff for favors and other stuff for the party. i''ve got another month, but it just *seems* like i have so much to do, but i have so little time. and we''re getting ready for our trip to disneyland also. this month is going to fly by!

To all of you -- the Halloween costume pics made my day -- PS babies really ARE the cutest ever!

My girls wore hooded blankets -- one a pumpkin and one a purple monster -- and all we did was walk up the street to our block party to introduce everyone to them and come home (DH and my mom took the boys trick or treating). We''ll save the "real" costumes for next year.

Well, my little doll actually took a nap today!

We were in a store and I laid her down for a moment in a jogging stroller (part of the store display, but it was handy!

) while I paid for some diapers. She went straight to sleep in about 5 seconds! I''m seriously thinking about buying one - anyone have a City Jogger? If she sleeps in it, would be worth every penny!

Arghhh. I think M is going through a nursing strike. I''ve been leaving her with MIL longer, so she can get used to it when I go back to work in a couple of weeks. Starting yesterday night, she was very fussy at the breast and wouldn''t nurse. I am trying walking or rocking while nursing, and she nursed a little bit. It''s so frustrating; I am trying to stay calm and relax, so we can get through it.

And we are leaving her with MIL tonight for our first date night (celebrating 3rd anniversary). I hope that doesn''t make it much worse.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I have officially graduated to being a mummy!

Phillippa Joy was born on All Saints'' Day (1st November). Lets hope that is a sign of her personality!

I am absolutely in love with her.

She''s only very little 6lb 3oz so I am currently nursing 2-2.5 hrly, which keeps me super busy.

Will post a birth story soon and catch up on what''s happening over here.

lili: thanks for asking...we''ve been progressing with little K...(we had another set back when he got TWO vaccines at once for his 1.5 yr appt....two nurses by each arm shoving that needle in at once..i nearly fainted...)...anyhoo, he was NOT a happy kid then (he couldnt lift his arms up coz they were sore)....but he HAS progressed and now understands that there are food types where he would need to do more ''chewing'' and less ''swallowing'' ...he does LOVE his puffs though (i only found about the existence of those recently and asked my dad who was on a trip to the US to bring some back with him)..he would literally pull me off the couch to the pantry and point at the cupboard i have them in and get me to bring them down for him its very cute..

OMG! I love this stroller. Amelia woke at 5am, nursed for half an hour then I put her in the stroller to go get the papers. She slept again, for nearly 2 hours. I think we''ll get one for every room in the house. My life is transformed!
