Puffy--we are so cool, we started the trend
2.gif
3.gif
I found a few online retailers so i am going to start searching tonight. Ebay has some good deals on Lulu stuff if you are interested. Co is good, thanks-we have actually started potty training and he went on the toilet twice today
36.gif
. I am sure it was just coincidence but the coincidences are getting more common- so you never know. I had the privilege of working with an amazing potty trainer back in my daycare worker days and i am trying her techniques out now. Have u started with B yet?

Sabine--i have the medela swing and like it--i agree with MrsS. don''t go for manual--that''s craziness. If you are like me, and can barely get an oz when u pump, you need something good.

Off to step class--i pretty much ate a whole big bag of chips myself this aft (PMS took over, i swear) so i need it
5.gif
Co went on the potty! Yay for him! He seems sooo young for that but the sooner he''s outta diapers the better as far as I''m concerned!

QT - James is army crawling too! He just did it for the first time on Wednesday night and it was the cutest thing ever. He even did a little butt wigglle and everything.

Burk - Such cute pictures of T!

Tacori - Hehehehe at T running away from you. She''s such an indie gal!

This weekend was great for us. We took James out to eat on Friday and he was soo good. We hardly take him anywhere because he''s always been sort of a crybaby but not so much anymore. We had to stop at the bank to make a deposit for my boss and there was a Bob Evans (yum) next door so we went in. There was only one other couple in the place so even if James acted up it would have been fine. We sat in the highchair like a big boy and played the entire time.
36.gif

On Saturday we took him to the outdoor mall that''s nearby and walked around for a bit. It was nice out and he enjoyed the ride in his stroller
1.gif
Today we took him to the grocery store to stock up on his items (formula, diapers and wipes) and he sat in the front of the cart and looked all over the place. Such a cutie pie. Several people noticed and smiled at him, which just caused him to flirt hehehehe.

I hope everyone else had a great weekend!

diva YAY for james crawling!!! you must be so proud of him. i hope you have everything locked up!

As I was saying....your mom is hilarious...love the mock horror look she gave you.
Reminds me of my hubby when I said that J is only a 7 when he asked me to rate her
41.gif

Anyway, like puffy said, A IS cute -- even in the unphotogenic pictures.
I do agree that there were a few that you''ve posted that captured the ultra cutest that your mom is referring to -- ie her sweet little lips and cute little nose --
when A is not giving us the stare-down.
Maybe it''s the photographer
41.gif
haha
You may need to capture A when she''s not looking at you
9.gif

Funny how baby teeth come up differently for everyone.
J''s middle bottom came up first, then the top four at the same time, then the bottom side one at a time -- so she''s got 8 as well.
We need a picture of A''s choppers as well.

Hehe, have to laugh at A''s meltdown when you tried to get her to feed herself. she''s a smart one I tell you......why would she wants to get her hands all sticky and dirty when mommy is there to pop food into her mouth
9.gif
She''s probably waiting for when''s she ready to use a spoon.

Anyway, it is true about sick kids in daycare.
I think J''s well only 2 weeks in the last 5 months that she''s been in daycare
20.gif

At least she''s building up her immune system.

Tacori
Hehe, nope....we can''t get enough of T.
Spare you for this week, how''s that?
That''s quite a compliment -- your sitter''s daughter wanting a picture of T
5.gif

Diva
36.gif
for James crawling.

puffy
Awwwee..poor B. Luckily kids recover so fast.
Hehe, quite the attitude he''s got too.

Aw, poor J. That has got to suck bigtime for both of you.

I did get some new pics with Amelia not looking at the camera so much (hence no staredown!) but I can''t post them until I get my new computer. I can''t download them on this computer...it''s not a fast USB connection and takes FOREVER! Bah! That means no nekkid diaper pic for Burk either until I can get this all sorted. I do have one that shows her chompers too.

Ha, that is funny about the rating. Want to hear something worse? My BFF asked me to rate HER kid when she was first born. I was like, wha? I refused. No way I could win - if I said 10, she would think I was just being nice. If I said 7, she would be pissed off at me! I asked her, who the hell asks someone to rate their child? Freak!!!

TGal
Hehe, I remember that story.
I''d probably say, +1 to whatever you think your child is
41.gif

Anyway, here's a shot of my rugrat.
This is about the only decent one of her w/o her being right up against the camera.
As you can see....she's a bit distracted w/ something to notice the camera.

walk_wbook.JPG

Love all the photos.

Burk: What a beauty--she looks like Shiloh Pitt! Beautiful hair and love the sassy shot of her walking away! Actually it seems like that''s a common shot once the LO''s start walking..guess they''re always running away with mommy behind!

Tacori: love the photos--they look like pro shots! I thinks she is super adorable b/c she is shorter (Chloe''s a shortie too)--just like a little bundle of cute! I''m a hat fan too now, I mean chubby cheeks and floppy hats are a winner every time.

TGAL: thanks for recapping the convo with your mom, that''s hilarious. And looking forward to some army crawl shots of Amelia.

Lili: Sorry to hear J is sick--daycare does sound like a germ fest. Do you get to work at home any days? I''m hoping for that, but not looking so great right now. Love the latest photo--she looks like a bundle of energy and love the bare feet!

Diva: James is crawling already, seems so soon!!

Just a quick drive by to say hello!!
35.gif

I''m LOVING all the new photos!! Everyone is growing up so fast and they''re all such cuties!

I''m still in the middle of the whirlwind of work, toddler world and baby world and hoping that one day I''ll have some ME time again but I''m trying not to think about it. I''m going to Vegas for business at the end of the month and even though it''s a work trip, I''m beyond excited to sleep in a gigantic bed at the Bellagio all by myself and have nothing but adult conversations for 5 days!!!!
3.gif
Yeah, I''ll miss the girls but it''s not like I''m going away for months and I''m really not that sentimental about stuff like this. It will be good for all of us!

In the meantime, Lily is still showing off and using words that I didn''t know she knew--like OCTAGON! She knows tons of shapes because they''ve been working with them at daycare. And she knows animals like kangaroo and octopus. DH and I are constantly amazed by her. Plus she''s a character so she''s a lot of fun to be around, although she''s also tough because she''s so smart. We can''t fool her at all.

Lucy is dreamy. She is such a good, smiley, happy, laughing, babbling baby. Oh yeah, SHE''S SITTING UP UNASSISTED!!!
36.gif
It literally happened overnight. I had been working with her and I know that they were also working on it at daycare and over the weekend, it just happened. Now she thinks she''s super cool sitting around with all her toys! She''s also rolling in both directions but I don''t think she''s realized yet that if she keeps it up, she can get from one point to another. I hope it takes her a while to figure that out!
2.gif
The only bad thing about my overachiever is that her sleep is in the crapper. The girl was doing sooooo well but has majorly regressed in the past 4 weeks. She is only sleeping for small stretches and then wants to be held to go back to sleep. So unfortunately, because we ALL need sleep, DH and I have been taking turns sleeping on the couch to be near her. It seems to work and although it''s far from ideal, we are back in survival mode so we''re doing what we have to for now. She has her 6 month appointment
6.gif
next week so we''ll ask the pedi what to do. We really can''t let her cry because it wakes Lily up and I just can''t have our whole family awake in the middle of the night. I''ve tried some of the baby whisperer techniques and they don''t work either. Hoping it will pass soon but who knows? I''m not terribly concerned about it but I''d like for it to end so we can all go back to sleeping through the night! And then I realize that once she''s STTN for good, I''ll never have to worry about this stuff again so I''m willing to suffer a bit now since I know this is my last baby. Good rationalization, right?!
1.gif

Anyway, gotta get back to the grind. Sorry to be "all about me" but I just had to vent a little!! Hope everyone''s doing well. I''ll try to get back here soon!

Here''s one of Lucy last week, right before she mastered sitting up. I swear her head''s not that big!!! She''s lots of fun! Her big sister won''t pose anymore so I have a hard time getting photos of her these days!!!

sittinglucy.jpg

curly--Aww thanks for the photo. She is just like you describe, smiley and happy--and I love the jeans and flexed toes! She is such an overacheiver as well--rolling, sitting unassisted? Boy, maybe waking up a few times a night is having some magical effect
emwink.gif
!! Kidding, I''m sorry to hear about the sleep regression. It sounds like she has somehow become attached to the rock to sleep pattern and maybe wakes up to realize no one is holding her, so cries instead of just going back to sleep. I think talking to your pedi is a good start. Chloe also needs to be held to sleep (or at least 90% of the way there), but then she''s down for 7hrs or so. Total luck, I never did anything special to encourage that. She does regress from time the time (the 1hr time difference set her back for example), but I''ve been lucky so far.

You sound busy though, so thank god for Vegas!! Great hearing from you, I miss the Curly posts!

Hey mommies! Going to take me a few tries to get caught up. Had a busy day yesterday and today is crazy at work. One of my co-workers had a baby Friday and we all found out this morning that the baby has downs syndrom and has to have heart surgery today!
7.gif

puffy~Thanks! I love a good deal. I also got a bunch of stuff for T at Gap and ON. It''s time for spring so I got a bunch of shorts and capris. I love tennis shoes for the little ones! Soooo cute! Did you get a few different brands and colors?

lili~That pic of J is awesome! I can just imagine how feisty she is! T is tall and skinny but her legs surely do have a little fat on them!
9.gif
I think she has a very narrow frame. She has a belly one her, too, but for some reason finding pants that aren''t HUGE around the waist is hard...think it''s because of her small frame if that makes sense.

Tgal~That''s so funny that A is doing the "uh oh" too! T didn''t have the right "oh" sound at first, either. Now, she says it perfectly and often...sometimes too often. She threw her toy across the backseat of the car yesterday so she could say "uh oh"
20.gif
I can totally feel ya on the not feeding thing because my child will not eat solid foods at daycare (except for her breakfast). It''s like, what can you do, though. A will feed herself when she feels ready.

Tacori~Thanks. I''m pretty excited about the sweater. Fixed the button yesterday and I''m wearing it today!
21.gif
Diaper changes SUCK! I''m going to get a potty and start trying to poop train T. I read that link Jas posted and it said one sign of readiness is always doing the same thing when they poop. T squats every time. So, when she squats I think I''ll try and put her on the potty. Can''t hurt, I guess. Glad you had a fun weekend with your friends. I love pedis! Hope you have a great morning while your babysitter is with T!

iluv~Yea, I much prefer late nights to actually being out of town. I freak myself out about being home alone. Yes, we have a dog and an alarm system, but I still get scared. Ridiculous I know. We''re thinking we''ll be in this house for a while so I''m thinking the first floor master will be great when the kids are a little older. I think we''ll probably stick with that plan.

Be back in a bit to finish....

Diva~yay for James crawling!
36.gif
Glad you guys had a good weekend!

Janine~Thanks! So funny you say she looks like Shiloh because that's what the check-out lady at the grocery store said yesterday (minus the lips
41.gif
). Once they start walking it does become a race to get away. Fun fun.

curly~Lucy is precious! So glad things are going well. yay for a trip!

It's supposed to be 80 today and I am so excited to get out of here and go get T and go for a long walk. She's been so good on our walks lately. She sits still in her stroller for the most part and points out trees and houses. She also says "woof woof" when she sees a dog.

Burk
Tayva is so cute in her diaper... So tall and slim.

lili
awww J looks like she''s been walking for a long time... Like a toddler.

Tacori
yeah I saw lots of cute hats at gymboree yesterday. We ended with a navy blue one from j&j... figure it''ll go with more outfits.

Tgal
A is photogenic. She just looks serious.
M always has that studious face. SIL says she is already a diva.

Diva
Aww James might be crawling by the end of March. M is nowhere near it; we are just anxious.

That''s all for now since I am replying on my phone.

Janine
I can work from home if I want.
I was working half-time initially when she was younger, but I can hardly keep up w/ work w/ the little one around.
I could get a nanny, but it''s not cost effective since the daycare charges me way more for half-time enrollment.
Plus, it would mean that J would be in daycare every other day -- and we are trying to keep things consistent so there''s little adjustment for her.

Tacori
Hehe, I agree w/ Janine -- little baby walking is so cute...especially when they are short and petite
5.gif

Curly
Awweee....look at that smiley and happy face.
Both your girls are so happy -- must be all that chocolate you ate while preggo huh?
Lily just amazes me -- she''s going to be a human dictionary.
Too funny about her not sitting for pictures.

Burk
Sorry to hear about your friend''s newborn.
Hope everything will be okay for the little one.
I know what you mean about small frame.
J is like that too.
Even some of her 3 months pants are still loose on her, but that works out well cause then they ride a little lower so the pants don''t look like capris
9.gif

QT
Seriously? Posting on the phone?
Hope you are not doing this while driving
41.gif

Anyway, I wouldn''t count M out in crawling by the end of the month.
You''d be amazed at how quickly babies master some of their skills -- literally overnight.

Hi!! So sorry I''m so MIA, but I got bit by the knitting bug, and what used to be my online time is now knitting time!

My kids are great, dh is great, and life is pretty good, knock on wood.

Pave: my dh travels all the time, and at first I was TERRIFIED for him to go. When we had our 2nd, I was twice as scared. It gets easier. Ack...the first time I had 2 puking kids (one 16 months, the other 4 years with no help it was horrible. I lived to tell and felt rather rock-star-ish afterwards.

Tgal: HI!!

Tacori: AWww....looky sweet T...

Curly; your girls look so much alike!

My D is a ball buster & rather hilarious...she beats up her brother.

Hooo boy.

danersfeb09.jpg

And the two of them horsing around...

I''ll try to be on more often....I need to browse from my black berry while I''m out!

itchyandscratchy09.jpg

Diver
Good to "see" you again!
And your kiddos are getting so big and cute.
LOL....love that second shot of them horsing around -- their expressions are just priceless
5.gif

Jake is too funny -- looks like he's celebrating in making D cry XD

You'll need to post some of your finished knitting projects for us to see.

lili what a great pic of J!!! i think it totally captures her personality. B does have an attitude and it sucks! haha. how is J doing? hope she is getting better.

curly YAY for lucy sitting!!! she is such a doll!!! sorry to hear that her sleeping has regressed, i hope you guys get it back to normal soon.

burk baby gap girl stuff for spring is s cute!! i can''t wait to see pics of miss T dressed up in all her cute new clothes. i got a nikes, adidas, and pumas for B in a few colors. sounds good about the potty. B uses his urinal everyday before his bath, and when he poops and i don''t see it, he will go and tap on the toilet then i know he pooped. weird kid!! and he takes his clean diapers and throws them into the diaper disposal...kinda funny. how is T doing?

diver glad everything''s going well with you and the family!!

B went in for his 15 month check today and he is doing well. his pedi was really impressed with everything that he knew and how much he talks and just that he doesn''t shut his mouth. haha. and of course B loved all the attention so he had to show off with a few new tricks that he learned recently. i swear the kid loves to make people laugh.

diver- i was just thinking about you the other day and hoping all was going well with you! funny you mention knitting b/c I used to knit all the time before I had kids and I haven't picked up a knitting needle in a couple of years now and was just thinking I really should get back into it. But, It eats up my diamond fund, priorities ya know
3.gif
love the pics of your kids too, they are just too darn cute!

puffy- glad little B's check-up went well!

lili- yay for Jadie walking. Jake still isn't close but he has started doing this monkey crawl where were he lifts off his knees and crawls with just his hands and feet. he looks silly when he does it and just laughs when we catch him and comment.

burk-so sorry for you friend. was it a surprise to them as well?

tgal-I think Amelia is beautiful..seriously. that is too funny the conversation you had with your mom though. I talk to my mom several hours a day but cannot wait to move back where I will see her almost every day again.

diva-yay for James army crawling!!

curly-glad you checked in too..love the pics of your sweathearts. aren't 2 girls just so fun?? it gets even better too!!

tacori-glad you had a good weekend. I think I'm going to be getting my new mac in the next couple week so soon we'll be mac twins..

pave-yay for making it by yourself. It is hard but sticking to your routine helps.

sorry if I missed anyone...

iluv, you know I love those dots!

puffy, I love T''s belly too. B is so funny how he "works" you. Haha! I bet his pedi was impressed! B is a special kid. He really is. T''s doc doesn''t do a 15 month appointment. Wonder why?

Diva, she is independent for sure. I seriously wonder sometimes how long it would take for her to turn around and come find me...I think hours. Haha. Glad James behaved himself!

Lili, the sitter came this morning too. She is so in love with her. Too funny. Glad I am off the hook for a week. Haha. J is so cute! I can''t believe J can fit in 3 month pants! That is INSANE. Guess I have a chunky monkey.

TGal, I can''t believe your friend asked you to rate her kid. How funny! Hope you sort out your computer problems.

Janine, all about the camera! My D60 helps makes them look professional! I am short but since DH is a foot taller I was holding out hope for T. I do think short little girls are adorable! Get Chloe a hat. Helps protect their little moon faces from the sun.

curly, Lucy is SOOOO cute! Love the new pic! Have an awesome time in Vegas. I know you will. Sorry Lucy''s sleeping is not going well. Hope she works it out soon. Lily sounds adorable! She is a smart girl!

Burk, hate diaper changes too. Let me know how potty training works. Hope you got a nice long walk in. Sorry about your friend''s baby. Hope the surgery goes well!

Q, you will have to post M in her new hat!

Diver, great to see you and love the pics of D and J!

MrsS, hopefully you won''t get a lemon! Haha. I do love my new macbook. Can''t wait for you to get your''s!

mrss how is jake doing? i bet he''s close to walking! you''ll soon have another toddler on your hands.

diver i also meant to comment on how adorable the kids are and how big they are getting.

tacori it is pretty funny that B knows how to work me, and i do admit it works about 98% of the time, but i don''t let him know that it works. i walk away and laugh to myself and every time i think about it, it just makes me smile. B got 2 shots today. as the nurses were about to give him the shots, he squirmed and said "no way!!" and the nurses just looked at me like "huh?" then they thought it was weird that he talks so much too. how is T? any good T stories?

burk sorry to hear about your friend''s baby. i hope the baby will be ok.

QT~Thanks!

lili~Thanks! I feel so horrible for my co-worker. I can't even imagine what she's going through. J is tiny! Three mo pants still loose? I put on 12 month pants that are still loose today (they're supposed to be leggings and really aren't on her) and I thought that was funny.

diver~Good to *see* you! You're kids are adorable as usual!

puffy~I also got a bunch of stuff at ON. They have great deals and if she gets it dirty in the mud, oh well! (yes, she was playing in the dirt last night
5.gif
) That's awesome that B is going potty in your potty before his bath. I figure I really won't get her completely potty trained until I'm home with her in June, but if we could at least do poop that would be a good start! T is great. Her asthma is letting up so we're only doing 2 treatments a day again. Hope it stays that way!! I'm not surprised B was a hit at the doctor's office!!
2.gif

mrss~Thanks for thinking of my friend. It was a surprise. That's what I think is so hard right now....the shock. They had a rough road getting pregnant (took over 3 years) so I think they're just kind of overwhelmed.

Tacori~T has started saying "no no" to me when I got to change her!
20.gif
I'm so over that! Going to do the potty training in stages so I'll let you know. When are you planning to start with Tessa? T and I had a nice long walk and she was pretty good. Around the last mile she threw her baby out of the stroller so I knew she was pretty much done...but she hung in there and kept pointing out trees and "woof woof's"
21.gif
Did you and Tessa have a walk yesterday? Did you get a bunch done while the sitter was with her? Eta: did you get Tessa anything at Gap or ON this weekend?

puffy, it IS hard to stay angry at their cute little faces. Though it is scary a toddler so young can be manipulative already! I bet the nurse was shocked with B''s vocab!

Burk, is it strange that I am not in a rush to potty train? I guess my neighbor scared me by telling me it was such a pain running to public restrooms once they are out of diapers. Plus I feel like T is not as smart as all of your babies. We did not take a walk yesterday b/c it rained ALL day. The sun is FINALLY out today but I doubt we will have time before we go to the gym. Tomorrow is suppose to be beautiful so we are going on a long walk with our neighbor and her boys. I only got T a green shirt (for today) at ON. Nothing else which is odd for me! She has lots of spring/summer clothes. I''ll probably add in some cheapie stuff for park days. She gets messy now! Such a tomboy. I got lots for me though. 3 shorts, 2 hoodies, a skirt, and a pair of pants. Might return the pants though.

Tacori~Not strange at all. I''m not really in any rush, either. I figure when she "gets" it and it happens, it happens. If she doesn''t take to it I won''t be upset. To me she''s still my baby! Tessa is smart! I won''t lie, though, B''s language skills make me think "why isn''t Tayva that smart?"
3.gif
Are you doing Zumba tonight? It''s actually supposed to be 80 here today!
6.gif
We''ll go for a walk right when we get home and then play outside. My T is such a tomboy too....she was soooo dirty yesterday after playing outside. I got a bunch of shorts (the burmuda length) at ON that I think will be great for playing. Speaking of, you did great for yourself there!! Way to go! I love new stuff.

Tacori
haha, there are a couple of advantages to having a baby in diapers --
no manic search for a clean restroom when you are out in public or many pit stops while in long car ride
9.gif

Burk, I think the same thing. Haha. Poor T. She is smart and according to my friend she says more words than I think he does. I am like the opposite of most moms and think certain things are just flukes. Haha. Poor T.

Lili, you said it girl. Guess my neighbor convinced me that maybe crazy, wiggly diaper changes are better than frantic searches for bathrooms and insane accidents.
14.gif

puffy
J is recovering -- not too stuffed up at ngiht, so that''s good.
Still sneezed out a bunch of snots though.
I''m not surprised that B is a hit at the dr''s office -- he is really talkative for someone his age.

MrsS
How cute....J never did the monkey crawl.
Looks like his leg muscles are strong enough.
Jake is going to be walking so soon.
How nice it is to be able to go see your mom everyday.
How far will you be from her when you move back home?

Burk
Is it just me or does it seems like most of the girlies on here are such drama queens
9.gif

J would toss her toys too when she had enough.
