Eating:
Seeing all your babies eating schedule is making me wonder if J is undernourished.
She certainly is not getting as much milk and solid:
8-10oz of milk w/ 8oz of solid at daycare.
maybe 2-4 oz of solid at home and 2 bf sessions (i doubt she''s getting 20 oz of milk in those 2 sessions).

Questions for BF mothers.
How much milk is your little one drinking right now?

Awweee....look at that cute little face and round belly!
He''s a doll.
Anyway, about the spit-up after feeding. It could be that your milk is coming too fast.
Are you boobs hard when you feed Hunter? If they are, you may want to express some to make it soft.
J spit up like a faucet a few times when I was too full.

Bobo
Glad you check in.
Great news about little B''s weight gain.
He''s probably a string bean :)
LOL....J is the same with food and other things.
She is getting better now -- she flips through books instead of gnawing at them.
Still put toys and whatever bits and pieces she finds on the floor into her mouth though.
And yes, she likes to eat her sudsy toys as well :P

Good luck with the escrow.

Tacori
Which gate would you recommend for stairs?
A few posts back, you mentioned that you were going to get your 5th gate.
Is that because you need to replace your existing ones because they broke or what?
I need to get gets for our stairs -- yeah I know I''ve been pretty bad about it.
J''s actually been pretty good w/ going up the stairs -- she''d sit on the first step until one of us is there before she climbs up.
Anyway, any info you have would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, we need something for 48" wide.

Diva~I think a lot of babies have a fixation with glasses. T certainly loves faces. That''s great that James is doing so well with the "discipline." We''ve had so much more luck starting early (before she could probably even understand) as opposed to friends who didn''t and now their little ones run the roost!
2.gif

Bobo~Glad the appt went well!

DD~You''ve already gotten great advice. I would just add to make sure he burps well. Spit up is totally normal. Our pedi told me that babies don''t "over eat." I would just feed him when he''s hungry and burp well a couple times a feeding. Isn''t it amazing how many times you can second guess yourself when you''re a mom?
5.gif

puffy~T has been great. They''ve been playing outside a lot at daycare and she''s been playing hard. She''s finally starting to eat a little better, too! So cute that B doesn''t like being messy! T is a total tomboy and doesn''t mind one bit!
41.gif

lili~On the subject of eating, the pedi dietician told me (this is for one-year olds...since J''s almost there) they should be drinking around 22 oz of fluids a day and 16 oz of that should be whole milk. Is she eating solids for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Does she eat until full? Do they offer snacks at daycare? Oh, and we still don''t have a gate with 2 sets of stairs. T also doesn''t climb them unless one of us is there. We must be risk-takers!
16.gif

lili haha, sometimes i think that B is older too. i''m thinking about getting him this toddler bed that i thought was pretty cute and it has a matching dresser. it''s super cute but the price tag..not so much. but DH said to go ahead and get it for him. this morning, i guess i missed his initial call for me, and when i got in there, he had 1 leg hanging from the crib. i almost had a heart attack!! how is J doing? anything planned for her 1st birthday?

DD i meant to comment that your picture of hunter is just so dang cute!!! he looks so alert in it.

burk awww, that''s so great that T is doing so well!! it must make you feel so much better too. and YAY for eating better!! the weather is beautiful here as well and i hope it stays this way for good. i can finally bring all my spring clothes out, and i love wearing sandals and flip flops!!! B loves playing outside as well. he had a friend over today and the two of them went to town on his play set, chasing each other, climbing on top of each other, pretending to push each other on the swing. it was so cute.

tgal hope you and amelia are doing well.

DD--i am thinking the same thing as you--maybe he has gained some strength and you have gained more supply so he is pulling tons of milk down, and you are providing more. If this happens within a week or so maybe his little digestive system just needs some time to adapt. I remember Cohen spitting up for a few weeks around the 2 month mark--i thought it was my diet but then it just resolved its self.

Lili--haha, should have clarified--i NEED to get all that stuff done in 40 mins--but i am lucky if i get one thing done. Last night was take-out. and most of the time my house is a mess. Bugs me, but whatever.
I wouldn''t worry about J being undernourished. She would let you know. I think Co is over-eating, which is probably worse.

Puffy--i am going to wait for my NYC trip to find some new work out gear--shipping and exchange costs are too high right now.
And ya, can''t get Co to sleep much longer than 45 mins. Yesterday we went swimming and i tired him out so he slept an hour and 15 mins--but i can''t go swimming every day!

Burk--i hope the heart surgery goes well--poor little thing. How are the parents doing?

I am getting all these weird flashbacks to pregnancy last year. The weather is much the same (the distinct transition to spring) so when i am out for walks i can remember being hugely pregnant and going down to the lake with Charlie wondering who was in my belly and when he/she would come out. Now a year later, i can''t believe my little monster wasn''t around. I have a friend due next week (my original due date) and i just so clearly remember what she feels like right now-the fear, excitement, anticipation. I am going to go take some pictures of Co in the same spot i took my pic at 42 weeks pregnant so i can put them in his baby book. I wish i had a good camera!!!

Ha, isn''t motherhood welcoming? Amelia used to take 50 minutes to take 1.5-2 oz of formula when we finger fed her with the SNS. 50 minutes of my finger stuck in her mouth with my arm crooked and sore! By the time I burped her, changed her, put her back down and cleaned all the parts of the SNS, I remember distinctly only having an hour and 15 minutes before the next round (we were instructed to feed every 2.5 due to her weight loss issues). By the time I got to sleep, it was usually only an hour and sometimes I didn''t even want to fall asleep because waking up was SO painful!!!

The other day when I was sitting in bed feeding Hunter at 3am I thought of you and this type of situation! And I thought of Neatfreak feeding TWO babies! The effort you both went through, and are going through, is inspiring and keeps me going at night sometimes!

NF Thanks for the word about the frequency thing, I figured it was normal. BTW, are you exclusively BFing? As I mentioned above, I thought of you feeding twins and tried to work out in my mind how you manage and it was hard to imagine!

Not totally exclusively but about 90%. My DH sometimes gives them a formula feeding when I''m not around or when it''s his "shift" at night if I haven''t pumped that day or we don''t have a stash stored.

As you can imagine it''s darn hard to build up a stash of BM while feeding twins! I feel like a milk machine.

I am so behind. I have been consumed with this stroller thing. Also they need to get a car seat and she mentioned wanting a "cheap" one. I am not saying they need to buy a britax but it needs to be SAFE! Any advice on that? So funny T story, "Yo Gabba Gabba" was on and I said to her "where is your Brobee? Where is your Fuffa?" and was naming their names and she went over to her toy bin and grabbed her YGG dolls. So funny!

Burk, I thought of you last night b/c we were having a girl''s night (with my friend and her 20 month old daughter) and I was saying how Tessa is not smart and she yelled at me! Haha. This was sad after her daughter could point out her eyebrows, knee caps, and other random body parts. Tessa won''t even point out her nose and I have tried to teach her! Sucks you were sick for 17 weeks. Luckily they say every pregnancy is different so maybe your next one will be easier! T loves to play outside and get dirty too. Our girls would have so much fun together!

Puffy, my other friend told me the same thing about T saying words that I don''t catch on to. Honestly I am not worried but it is my sense of humor to tease about it. I am sure Tessa will be surprising me soon! B is funny. He is so helpful! How cute he fell asleep on the floor. Poor little man was TIRED! Did you take a picture?

Jas12, I have upped my melatonin and I think it is helping. I went to an OB on Tuesday and mentioned my sleep problems and said I needed to talk to my GP about it. Okaaayyyyy...it wasn''t my usual guy so maybe he thought I was just trying to get pills
33.gif
I have NO idea or experience with potty training. Co is a smart boy so I am sure it will go smoothly. I cannot believe he only sleeps 40 mins! I feel ripped off if her nap is less than 2.5 hours!

MrsS, I think every kid is different and is ready for change (such as potty training) at different ages. My brother was over 4 when he was PT! He was 3 months early so all of his development was delayed but still. It got to the point where he could change his OWN diapers!
23.gif

Q, I guess you are suppose to double their height at 2 years (or is it 3?) and that will be their adult height. T does seem taller lately. But you are right only time will tell. M is so cute in her St. Patty''s bib and beer. Haha. Adorable!

Diva, I thought the army crawl was annoying b/c I had to make sure my floors were REALLY, REALLY clean. Her belly acted like a swiffer pad. Haha.

janine, I always gave T the food alone. She was never into the cereal that much.

Lia, I am glad you guys are okay! How scary! And you are a total rock star to travel alone with him. Been there, done that and it is DIFFICULT! T never refused a bottle so I am not sure what to suggest. I guess trying a sippy couldn''t hurt him.

Diver, I totally agree the kid has to be ready! That''s why I didn''t push the bottle issue and am not pushing the paci issue either. She gave up her beloved bottles on her own and never looked back. Hopefully pacis will be the same.

Bobo, yay for escrow and little B''s weight gain! T loved to blow bubbles in the water after it gets soapy
20.gif

DD, oh T spit up so much I was convinced she must be starving. Totally normal. She did it after EVERY meal and even in between. We went through a lot of spit rags during her first 6 months. Cute picture. Sorry for the no sleep but that''s part of having a newborn. When T was about H''s age she wanted to eat EVERY hour! It was horrible.

TGal, I totally remember that vomit smell! I think I got used to it. Gross.

Lili, I have the kidco stair gate from BRU. Comes in white or black. Easy to open with one hand but there is no way a toddle could. Easy to install too. I just bought another for the bottom but accidently got black so I have to exchange it. I have not needed to replace any gates. I have two baby dream gates to block off my family room (they are EXTRA long). A kidco for the top of the stairs and a cheap evenflo plastic one to block off out laundry room (where the cat litter and cat food is). My 5th with be a kidco for the bottom of the stairs b/c she will start climbing them by herself which is so scary. Make sure your stair ones are drilled INTO the wall. My other three are pressure mounted.

Jas12, cute idea about taking a pic of CO where you did in your 42 week pic. Love it!

NF, OMG I cannot even imagine trying to build a supply. It was hard for one kid! You are doing great.

puffy~I''m relieved that T is on the upswing, but I''m always holding my breath for the next episode. So fun to start dressing for spring, isn''t it!?!? I was desperate to wear open toe shoes! So cute that B and his little friend got on so well. Must just make you smile!

Jas12~I guess my co-worker and her husband chose to wait on the surgery and she''s coming in with the baby today. I am sure I''ll get more info then! Such a cute idea to go take a pic of Co where you took your 42 week pic! You must post it!!

Tacori~That''s so cute about T getting her YGG dolls. I should probably get Tayva some. She would love those things! We didn''t get Britax carseats and I did a lot of research and decided on Evenflo. I will look up the exact style later, but from all the research I did they got great reviews for safety and I think it''s easy to get her in and out. They were maybe $150? So funny about your friend yelling at you! Of course Tessa is smart and I''m sure that both she and Tayva are saying words we just don''t recognize. Just yesterday T and I were "dribbling" the ball and she starting saying "dribble" and it sounding NOTHING like the actual word. Had she said it in any other context I would have figured it was jibberish!
3.gif
I really hope that my next pregnancy is MS free or at least better than the last time.... especially with Tayva running around now!

Ack...gotta go get some make-up work lined up for the oodles of sick kids we''ve had....bbl

hi mama''s! how u ladies doing...it seems all ive been doing recently is quick drive bys!! ive got SO many things to get done its not even funny...

diver: hey girl!! good to see u back here..ur kids are so cute! im planning on potty-training little K soon and am dreading it!

okay...thats all i remember so far...my brain seems to handle only a few mins worth of information before i space out again..

Bobo - James does that too! It''s like he knows when he''s all soapy and then decides that his fingers/fist taste good
3.gif
DH is always worried that he''s going to get sick but he never really sucks it off since we stop him.

DD - James is a spitty-uppy baby too. He always has been. I did not BF but we started James on Enfamil A.R. when he was around 3 or 4 months and that''s helped a lot. Cute pic of the diaper change!

Puffiy - I know! My DH falls asleep in the car all the time. Drives me nuts.

Lili - Yeah, at our daycare there are two full timers, one part timer, James and three after school only kids. I pick up James right after the school aged kids get there.

Jas12 - I''m having preggo flashbacks too. I was really starting to show this time last year and getting excited about it being spring. Just the smell of the air takes me back. I''m sure it will be the same this summer when I was huge
3.gif

Tacori - We have an Evenflo Symphony carseat for James and we love it. It''s a true convertible - from newborn rear facing, infant rear facing, toddler forward facing and a 100lb booster in one. I don''t know if this is the same one BURK was talking about or not, but it retails for about $150 at BRU. Our second carseat is a Britax Roundabout and that''s in MIL''s van for the days she has him.

Burk & Diva, thanks...I don''t think she would pay $150
20.gif
Under $100 for sure.

Dreamer, Hunter is such a cutie pie! He is so cute with his little belly and little toes.

Thanks puffy, little B is still crawling mostly...lazy boy will only take several steps a day.

Thanks lili, it really drive me nuts that he''ll help himself to the stuff he find on the floor and soapy toys but won''t feed himself cheerio or other finger food.

Thanks Burk. How is Tayva? is she feeling better? I''m way behind on the post.

Thanks Tacori, blow bubbles in the water? little B only eat the soap leather hands and toys. I guess soap must taste good. So funny that Tessa knows the names of the dolls. I can''t never find Yo Gabba Gabba on our cable.

Diva, wait until James is older then there is no way of stopping him. Now when we tried to stop little B from eating his hands he''ll give you a look and very quickly shove his other fist into his mouth on purpose. Or he''ll get mad and start throwing tantrum...

Bobo, yeah she leans over and blows bubbles. My mom has been nagging me to get her into swim classes. Haha. "Yo Gabba Gabba" is on Noggin. Do you have that channel?

Tacori~I didn''t catch that T blows bubbles...so does my T! Hilarious. As for the carseat, we have the Triumph and it''s $179 at BRU right now....but Evenflo makes the Tribute that''s right at $100 and the reviews are great for it as a second seat (which yours would be). Good luck!

As always, thanks so much for the feedback ladies! I can''t believe how much great mothering advice I get on a diamond website, my friends think I am a little cukoo!
9.gif

Hunter has not been spitting up very much for the last 3 days, so I think that the situation is looking up!
36.gif

I have a diaper question now: So many questions, I know
20.gif
, but I wondered about diaper sizes. Hunter seems too big for the newborn ones now, but the size 1s are comically large! When do you switch sizes? I remember some conversation about this a while back in this thread when TGal was asking, I may search for it, but if anyone recalls it''s approximate location that would help me so much!

NF I noticed in the diaper thread that you use the Kirkland brand! We have a costco membership and would like to try them out... currently we are using Pampers and Huggies size 1s (bought bags of both to compare), and we prefer the fit of Pampers but hate the perfumy smell
14.gif
Can you comment on whether the Kirkland fit more like one or the other? Did you/are you using the size 1s?

Well we only had 1 pack of huggies and they were preemie but we hated them! We used and liked pampers newborn and 1''s before switching to kirkland, which we really like but beware that they only come in 1/2 so they are bigger than pampers 1''s . So I would say for my boys they fit more like pampers. Give em a try- Costco guarantees their Kirkland brand stuff so you can always return the rest of the box if you hate them.

DD i know we switched B to size 1s from newborns early on cause B was not fitting into the newborns. i still have several boxes of newborn diapers in the garage.

tacori nope, didn''t take a picture. didn''t want to risk waking him up. i like your T story. she is a smart girl!! that''s pretty funny that she blows bubbles in the water. how is working out going? no advice on the car seat..sorry. it must be a PITA researching all this stuff. at my ILS, we have a maclaren stroller and they are more than welcome to use any other stroller they want that we have. they just have to let us know to bring it. but i refuse to put a car seat in her car cause she drives like a maniac!!!

burk it felt so good today...i put on sandals!!! YAY!! i almost cried when i was watching B play with his friend. i hope that T stays better!! that poor girl. i''m sure T says a ton of words as well, but it''s hard for you or your DH to make them out cause it sounds so much like jibberish in the beginning. when B started talking, i was like HUH??? then he started getting better at it and now i actually understand what comes out of his mouth about 90% of the time. his new fascination is with birds. he like to go out to his play set and sit there and bird watch. haha!!! then he will point to every single one and tell me it''s a bird.

diva how is james doing?

bobo little B will be walking every where before you know it. it''s so hard keeping track of them!

jas12 shopping in NYC is going to be so much fun!!! so i take it then you are going? 1 hour and 15 minutes sounds like a good nap. i don''t know how he gets by with just a 45 minute nap.

ok, i just have to share the funniest story....
i took B grocery shopping, so when we got home, i let him run around the house as i was putting stuff away. he then gets a shopping bag, and puts his play food inside of it, and lugs it over his shoulders and is running around. he then gets a hold of my wallet and puts in it his bag. all this time, i am just laughing that he has his play food in the shopping bag. he comes to me, takes out his play food and puts it on the table, and takes out my wallet. and he pretends to scan the food like they do in the supermarket. haha!!! and he bags them again and tries to open my wallet to pay. i opened the wallet for him to se what he was going to do with it, and he took out a credit card and tried to swipe it. haha!!! i got a really good laugh from it all. it doesn''t sound as funny, but it was super funny when he did it.

Hi Everyone! This week has been going fast and at times painfully slow, haha. My dh gets on the plane early tomorrow morning my time! I can''t wait until he is home- It will be nice to see him and give him Tyler for a little while! we have been chatting on skype with a camera and that is nice!.
Burk I Have been meaning to write you re: your friend''s new baby. I wanted to tell you that there is a group on fertility friend(under special situations on the pregnancy board) for mom''s of babies with cardiac defects. Hopefully your friend has lots of support, but I found the group helpful and the mom''s have lots of good knowledge/resources. And there is a mom in that group whose daughter also has downs. The little girl is a toddler now- actually- maybe it might be scary right now because some of the babies end up in the hospital for a long time. Some of the stories can be overwhelming. Yeesh I am trying to be helpful but am not sure if it actually will be...
Glad to hear Tavya is feeling better! I''ll keep my fingers crossed that it continues. Sounds like all the shopping was lots of fun. I haven''t done any for a while. I have alot of clothes but not alot in his size right now.
ok well it figures tyler just woke up
bye ladies!

That is so cute Puffy!
There are all sorts of toys that he would love, like cash registers with credit cards and little store stands.
Ava used to have a little ice cream truck and pretend to give out ice cream, and then collect it back. So cute.
She also had a little shopping cart that she would put her stuffed animals in and we would walk around the neighborhood.
Now all she has is ATTITUDE!

ok baby is back asleep( I don''t think he feels too good today...we both have colds I guess). anyhoo

tgal thanks for the compliments on tyler''s pic! Also thanks to the other mommies- I kinda lost track lili and puffy and I am not sure who else...I am a bit confused but I appreciate it

also thanks Burk, puffy, tacori and everyone else who weighed in on husbands working late/going away for work. It makes me feel better knowing all you guys get through so well! I know I will get there eventually. And I know my dh doesn''t love being away. I know it will get easier- Oh diver I sure hope I don''t have to deal with 2 vomiting kids while he is away anytime soon. But I think you guys are all rockstars. I am a wimp, but that''s ok. It does give you confidence doing it on your(mostly)own. My brother has been here since Monday night. He has been good playing with the baby and keeping him company/holding him etc. today he let me take a nap, which was great. anyway I am babbling. thanks agian for the support.

tacori i love the new tessa pics. she is adorable and such a "big girl" now. Who are you looking for the carseat for? I got confused. I don''t have any reccomendations anyway. still wish we could have gotten those britax at target back a few months ago! thanks for the tips on the infantino toys! of course I just bought some wrist rattles today! but no metallic fabric so that''s good.

Jas how is the potty training? hey what is the name of your baby whisperer book? I bought 2 so far but am still not sure i have the right one.

ok im gonna skip forward now becuase I don''t think I can catch up from last friday. too overwhelming
40.gif
.

dd It sounds like things are going great for you! I changed over to size ones pretty quick I htink becuase tyler was filling them in like 30 minutes to 1 hr and it was driving me crazy. he was about 8 lbs when I switched him and his legs are meatier now, ready for 2 I think. the costco 1/2s were too big on his legs then but Im sure they would fit now and I plan to use them up(my mil gave us a case before the baby was born). Oh pampers sells sensitive and I wonder if they are unscented? I would htink so.

Puffy I love that shopping story about B. totally cute! they love paying for things, huh? so much fun.

bobo its nice to see you! congrats on the house! good luck with everything. glad your pedi is looking into things just to be thorough!

msb how was the birthdya party? Is it over? do you have pics?

lia good to see you here. that is a crazy plane story. glad everything is a-ok. i am too chicken to fly with tyler because it seems like it would be really hard...I got overwhelmed just trying to figure out how I would go to the bathroom on the plane, haha.

tgal i thought i had it bad I cannot believe how hard you worked at trying to breastfeed. It is so tiring at the beginning I know it feels like all you do is get in bed to get back up. especially right now cause I have to go put the paci back in(ii will have to figure out how to break this habit!)

ok im gonna sign off. catch you guys later and I am sorry for whoever I missed.

Burk, thanks for your car seat advice. Isn''t the bubble thing so funny? And how cute T says "dribble" by the way!

DD, I would move up a diaper size when her output (so to speak) were no longer contained by the diaper. I don''t think T has ever *physically* outgrew a diaper before she started having blow-outs.

puffy, working out is going...need to work on the diet
7.gif
May be my ONLY hope. I just finished my 7th week. Researching is kinda a pain. They are so weird when it comes to money. Spend a lot on certain things and then cheap out on others. That is so funny about the birds. Haha. B is a funny boy! He notices everything doesn''t he? He is very amazing for his age.

pave, awesome Mr Pave is on his way home. It''s tough when you don''t get a break! My inlaws need a car seat and I probably should get another for us as well. The Britax deal was dead so you didn''t miss out. I did get a $25 credit for the mistake which was nice of them.

iluv, Ava has attitude at 10, my girl has attitude at 1.5! I am in SO much trouble aren''t I?

Okay, an update on the stroller situation (for those that don''t read my other thread). My neighbor offered to sell me her 2004 Zooper Boogie for $150. Part of me is excited b/c it retails for over $350 but it is 5 years old. Do strollers expire like car seats? It comes with a BUNCH of stuff (rain cover, foot thing, pram), and reverses so the (next) baby can face me, has 3 BIG real wheels. It is HEAVY though. I think she said 30+ lbs but I plan on keeping it in the garage and only using it for walks. What do you guys think?

pave how''s it going? that''s really great that you have your brother there to help so you can get stuff done and take naps. i''ll have to get B a play wallet cause i know he loves to play with my credit cards, and he probably demagnetized a few of them too. hang in there...you''re doing great.

iluv he has a play kitchen with his play food, but i want to get him the shopping cart as well and a bunch of other stuff. he has registers and other stuff. how is the party planning coming? has she mentioned a sleep over again? how are you?

tacori have you decided on a car seat yet? it is weird, i would think that they would want to spend on a car seat that their grand daughter will be sitting in. hope you find one. that''s great if you get the stroller form neighbor. i personally would take it was something that i wanted. i''m no help on strollers though..i am stroller crazy!!! B has 3 strollers and he barely sits still in any of them for more than 5 minutes. haha. he is currently sitting on the top of the slide looking into the sky right now and pointing at the birds. he cracks me up that kid!! how is T doing? when are the ILS coming? you''ll get to where you want to be weight wise...i''m sure you will!!!

B is not wanting to come back inside right now and i can''t leave him out there by himself...i gotta work on his dinner. i''ll try to bribe him with food. haha!!

Puffy, no decision has been made on a car seat. I totally agree with the strangeness. They just spent $9,000 on new appliances but don''t want to spend $150 for a car seat?
33.gif
Maybe they will now that we are giving them a stroller.

I am not sure the stroller is worth $150 but they are good neighbors so I guess I chalk it up to that. I cannot even find that much info on the Zooper. I think they stopped making the Boogie. Too funny that B does not want to come inside. I don''t blame him. Haha.

You may be in for it, but spunk is good

It is hard to get mad and discipline them when they are so darn cute.
Sometimes I have to try so hard not to laugh, esp. with Sam.
He is a smiley kid, even when he is in trouble.

If I say "You think this is funny?" he puts his hands on his face to stop smiling.
He looks like Edvard Munch''s "The Scream" I have to turn around so he doesn''t see me laugh.
Tessa seems to have an agenda, which will serve her well later, but may add to your gray hairs.

When do your inlaws move down? How is that going? Anything exciting happening in your life?
Any thought on #2?

You''ve got a little outdoors man on your hands!
The shopping carts are fun, I''ll bet he''ll love it.
Nothing new here. I think that we have decided on a laser tag party.
The kids just keep getting bigger on me.
Our nightly Madlibs are certainly getting interesting. I am trying to keep the potty related words down to a minimum.
Incidentally, DH is the biggest offender

Hope you keep having great outdoor weather!

iluv oooohhhh, i love laser tag.haha!! i''m still a kid at heart. it''s supposed to rain this weekend, so i guess i should let B outside more often so he can get some sun before the rain comes. hopefully it''ll only be for the weekend.

tacori gosh, sorry your ILS are being all weird about a car seat...i mean seriously, of all things, a car seat! even the most basic of convertible seats are easily over $100. hopefully they WILL want to spend a bit more since they are getting a stroller from you guys. if you like the stroller, and there''s nothing else out there that you like, then go for it. but of there''s other options, i would always rather have a new stroller, but that''s just me. haha, the funny thing with B is that he wasn''t even playing anymore. he was just sitting there looking at the sky. alas, i did bribe him to come back in with some animal crackers. but after he devoured them, he kept saying, "outside, bird, bird."

snlee haven''t heard from you in a bit. how is everything going?

neat just wondering if there was any news about the possible move to the bay area?

Not really...DH spoke to them yesterday and is still waiting for the position to officially "open". It would be working for a gov''t entity so there is quite a bit of bureaucracy to navigate around first unfortunately! But it does sound like they would like to hire him for it-one of the women who is hiring gave him the names of a few books to start reading-so I am crossing my fingers!

There are also other jobs open that he will apply for if this one doesn''t work, but this is the one he wants.

Thanks for asking!

That food story about B is adorable BTW!!! You need to get that on video for sure.

Arghhhh! Just wanted to vent for one sec. My babysitter just called out sick, again! I am so bummed. I was really looking forward to her coming over and me having a little break- not cool. Oh well. dh will be home late tonight. I guess my break will start then? Just have to hold on a little bit longer...Btw I think I have only had her coming for 3 or 4 weeks and she already called out sick twice!
