It''s great watching grandpa with the little girl. Though my dad''s life is full of girls (I have 2 sisters). Funny story about my dad and me when I was a newborn. I guess he was really excited or something, but he was giving me raspberries on my tummy and he accidentally bit me. So I tease him about not biting M. hehe.

D has been doing great and I actually enjoy nights! He''s slept through the last two nights - 9.5 and 8.5 hours! Yay! Last night he woke up a few times but put himself back to sleep. We also moved his crib against the wall a few feet away from our bed. Our room feels like a completely new place!

I can''t believe D is 6 months old! It goes by so fast! I am really loving this stage!

Here''s his 6 month bear shot.

snlee your little D is so cute! What a little cherub. And that''s great about the sleeping! Last night Hunter went two 4 hours stretches sleeping, it was awesome! And for the last week or so he has been going down like a dream, barely any pickups needed.

Can you post a side-by-side of D''s bear pictures from now and when he was really little? I love seeing the comparison.

dreamer, sounds like Hunter is going great! Hope that means you''re getting more sleep yourself.

Not sure why the second picture turned out so big! It was supposed to be around the same size as the first picture.

LILI, there''s a bigger picture for you. He had some rash on his cheeks and chin. It''s getting better though.

For those of you who are wondering if D has curls, the end of his hair on the side flips a little. In the picture he just had a bath so his hair was a little wet so it''s a little more apparent than usual.

TACORI, Tessa sounds so cute with her singing and giving hugs and kisses! Have a fabulous trip!

tacori have a wonderful trip!! that''s great news about the flower girl dress as well. my oaln is to have B go to preschool next fall but PT was really important in order for him to go to preschool.

bobo sorry to her about the slapping still. B is doing well. thanks for asking. he''s being his same old funny self. and B still falls down now and he''s been walking since 10 months. kids will always fall.

burk hope the doc goes well and the medication can be reduced! i love to hear about your T. she is such a funny girl!! every time i see her in your AV, i just giggle.

janine great news about C being back to her old sleep routine! it must be so much better for you and your DH.

mrsS sorry about the job. too bad about jake not being able to handle milk products. but some grow out of it. B was like that too, but only with whole milk at first, not yogurt or cheese. but i guess he grew out of it cause he''s fine now. so cute about jake sliding off the couch. i still laugh when B does it.

lili how is J doing? B doesn''t really aim, he kinda just goes, but occasionally he will try to play with it with his hands..YUCK!!! so i have to supervise each time he has to go. J''s bday get together sounds pretty relaxed. mmmmm, i LOVE dimsum!!! girl, you have to get bday hats!!! at B''s dinner, i told people they were NOT allowed to order food unless they put the hats on! haha, they laughed, but boy was i serious!!

qt heehee, your M is adorable!! she will be pulling herself up before you know it.

snlee WOW, D looks so different!! and such a cutie. glad to hear that the good sleep is continuing.

so we took B to the monterey bay aquarium today and he had so much fun!! he put his hands in the water to "pet" the sting rays, he loved the sharks and jelly fish. and he had a blast playing in the kids area. but i was so pooped!!! he had so much fun that he didn''t even take his afternoon nap, but he did nap on the way home and went to bed pretty quick. he says "sssarkssss," which means sharks. so we bought him a shark toy and plush and he went to bed with them. he''s got sharks, planes, cars, blocks, in his crib...basically you name it, he''s got it in there.

Thanks qtiekiki, one morning DH was talking to me about having a second baby and all the sudden little B just blur out "meimei" which really stun us. I keep telling DH you are not the one that have to go thru the weight gain, back ache, stretch marks, morning sickness, mood swing..you get the idea

puffy Hi! Isnt the aquarium fun? We joined back when I got pregnant but I didn''t realize I don''t think the little ones'' need a ticket until like 3 yo? That is so cool that b had a great time. Burk thanks for the input and the sympathy! I am not sure if I will do the elimination diet right now! I am stubborn and hungry haha. I think Im still gonna skip dairy and soy and see how it goes as he seems a bit better. He still screamed alot yesterday but htat was when we were out (in his stroller and car). I didn''t feel like it was necessarily reflux but hten it is hard to tell for sure, right? Yeah my nanny said she will work on the bottle. I hope we can get it back, soon. feel like a dunce.

Oh! I went to a moms group yesterday for moms with postpartum ''adjustment'' problems. It was amazing. I stayed out for 4 hours and went to lunch with 2 of the moms. Of course, I could not sit down and eat because Tyler cried alot, but I felt more comfortable being around other moms who understood. this past week I have been staying in more b/c I get so stressed when t cries- even when I just try to go for a walk now he screams! I was starting to go crazy,. I think I am just gonna keep going out and go about my business. He is consolable if I hold him but that is just not possible all the time, you know? yeesh.

Snlee~yay for continued good sleep! It''s amazing what better sleep can do for us!

puffy~T is a piece of work, that''s for sure! The caregivers at daycare were in shock yesterday when I got there to pick her up because they had to put her in timeout!

She pushed a little boy over and then told HIM "no no"(complete with finger shake)

Pave~We must have been posting at the same time! Your mom''s group sounds awesome! The elimination diet is so hard. I don''t blame you one bit. That''s weird that he screamed when in the car because that is typically a crying relief for most babies.

Does he cry all day long or are there some times that are worse than others? Have you tried a sling? Tayva loved the sling when she didn''t feel well...that way I could still get stuff done, too. Hang in there!

Pave I don''t want to encourage you to stop looking for a solution to T''s screaming, but I wanted to tell you that I know two babies who just seemed to scream and cry all the time when they were little! Nothing consoled them, it was so hard on the moms who really tried everything. In the end, my friend would just go about her business with her little boy crying. He too wanted to be help all the time it seemed. It started to slow down as he got older, and now at 7mo he is a very different baby, much happier. Neither ever found a cause! Oh, I was looking on the internet for some information and came accross this article about oversupply and its consequences from the La Leche league, I thought of you and T and wondered if this might apply: http://www.llli.org/FAQ/oversupply.html I think I have this issue to a degree since Hunter has started to have some green poops lately!

I thought cheese is more more of the milk enzymes than yogurt.

but stops immediately when we take her out.

It''s good to have the support from people who''s going through the same thing.

Derek is so cute. He grew so much; he is bigger than his bear now. I didn’t notice the rash until I read what you wrote to lili. M’s rash is much worse than that (she has Seborrheic dermatitis on her forehead), so pedi says her cheeks and chin might be a combo of eczema and the dermatitis.

Sounds like Brady had a blast at Monterey Bay Aquarium. I remember when we went there for an elementary school field trip.

The body changes are the reasons why I want to have baby#2 sooner than later b/c I figure my body can bounce back faster (more elastic skin, higher metabolism, etc) when I am younger.

Oh no, I don’t have M’s party planned out. I just know what I want to get her b/c I thought about getting it for last Christmas. I don’t know if I wrote the name correctly, but it’s basically a ride-on toy made out of wood and leather. It’s really cute. SIL said one of the kids she babysat had it, and she loved it (the girl was 4 yrs old, and got the toy when she was 18 months or so). J would probably like the toy. =D

Well M was constipated last night. She cried when she was pooping. Poor thing. But MIL said she pooped a lot today, so hopefully she isn’t anymore. In the meantime, we’ll lay off the BRAT.

pave i am a bit north from you. i am in between san bruno and burlingame..in a small little city, millbrae. glad that you enjoyed your moms group. it really is important to get out and get to know others in the same position as you to share experiences or just to get some moral support.
