Hey ladies, there''s a bit of sad news on the preggo board. Very sensitive so be forewarned. Just thought we should all give Lindsey some support right now.

Hello Mommies :) I am not a mommy yet but I am an auntie and this weekend I got to go visit my super cute, yet very wild nephews. Seriously I needed a vacation after my vacation! I was able to snap a few photos of the two boys. The little blue eyed angel is Andrew, and the dark haired handsome boy is Michael.

Oops let me try again:

One last one!

Gosh, i feel terrible for Lindsey, life is so fragile and precious, just breaks my heart that things like this happen....

Curly--oh what *gorgeous* girlies

Blen--ick, hope you are feeling better real soon and can get some extra help so u can rest uo

Allie--what gorgeous nephies you have!!

Tgal--aw, thanks, DH did admit that he really wants a girl. So do i, but funny thing is, now i can''t picture myself with one. I feel like such a ''boy'' mom (whatever that means--i am not even sure myself) so it''ll be exciting to see what happens with # 2.
Yes, you must post the party hat pic!!!!

DD--6 hours--sweeet! I would keep swaddling. I continued till around the 4 month mark but then i think Co got addicted to it and would wake when he broke out (many times a night!)--so there may be a fine line b/w helping and hindering sleep. I am sure every kid is different.

Co got a really cool late b-day gift today. Does anyone know of the comic strip For Better Or For Worse by Lynn Johnston?? (it''s the one about a family and dog) Lynn, the writer/artist lives in our area (she is neighbors with my inlaws ) My FIL got called to do work for her and she was coming out of her studio while he was finishing up and my FIL asked if the fireworks my BIL let off by the lake for Cohen''s 1st b-day party bothered her (the fireworks are a whole other story--had nothing to do with me, wasn''t even there) anyway, Lynn wasn''t bothered but she was excited about the 1st b-day and went to gather a few new hard-copy comic books she wrote and addressed them and put a msg in for Co in celebration of turning one--it is such a neat, great keepsake.

Curly - Awwww, Lucy is so cute in her Easter outift!

Just a quick drive by right now. The weather was sooo nice here today and will be tomorrow too so we''re going to try to get James out and about.

curly-such cute easter pics and cute outfits!

allie-great photo''s thanks for sharing!

Jas12-what a cool present for Co.....and you''ll be a great girl mom if you end up with a girl next time..no doubt about that at all.

Wow I am really behind.

Jas12, I love the picture of the three of you together! I like how you guys are looking at him as only proud, happy parents would. He is so adorable. Congrats again on his 1 year b-day. Milestone! I remember thinking "at least we ALL survived the first year!" Very cool gift BTW! My trip in June IS alone!
31.gif
I am meeting my mom out in SF for my sister''s second wedding shower. Aren''t you going to NYC soon?

Lili, DH reminded me today that I don''t have much time losing the last of my baby weight before we TTC again (next year)
40.gif
such a romantic guy!
20.gif
I am a visual person too so *maybe* that is my problem! Other people can understand my kid more than I can! Love the b-day pics. She is such a beautiful girl and they are awesome pics!

Q, she might like the play one better since she can see over it. Haha. The play stroller is a hit with her. She tried putting some of her kitchen food in the basket only there ISN''T a basket on her doll stroller. I think she is just used to seeing me put stuff in the basket of her REAL stroller. T used the playskool 2-1 pusher/car thing that everyone seems to have. I loved it b/c it is VERY stable so really does help her learn to walk vs. a doll stroller or some of the other things they have that tip easily. Now she uses it as a ride on toy. It was given to us but I would buy it in a heart beat. I think it is under $30 and she STILL used it. M is so freaking adorable in her bunny ears! I still haven''t taught T how to use a straw. I am a bad mommy.

puffy, B sounds so funny! I bet he does talk up a storm. Hope his burns are healing.

MrsS, yay for the new macbook! I am sure you will LOVE it!!!

Bobo, she does love her snacks. She says "more" though whenever she wants anything (not just food). It is cute the first 100 times.

DD, no advice, just hope Hunter is okay. Yay for 6 hours of sleep! Took T FOREVER to get there. We swaddle T for awhile since she was such a horrible sleeper. I think it is 3-4 months when you are suppose to ONLY swaddle their legs and leave their arms out.

snlee, T was hardly on first foods. She did mostly 2nd and 3rd foods (but no meats). She refuses to eat baby food meat. I like how they are more chunky like real food.

janine, some pedi (my dad included) do not approve of any sunscreen. My dad FREAKED out when he heard I had used some. Shade and clothes is what he suggests for the first year. They make special swim diapers.

Burk, once a year EVERY mom should get away w/o kids or DH.

Curly, love the new pics! Beautiful girl. Lily sounds SO funny!

Diva, T has always been delayed in the teeth department too. She only had two fully in on her first b-day.

MrsS, yay for J''s skin clearing! Hope the milk went well.

Blen, I am so sorry! I never had mastitis (ironically) but I had chronic clogs. No fun. Hope you feel better soon!!!

allie, cute nephews and great photos.

Not much new for us. We went to the park today. Tessa LOVES the park and was totally into these two older girls (9 maybe?) She just stood there STARING at them. They were talking to her and finally she started babbling and saying "hi" which they LOVED. She was then running all over the place. Talking was helpful on the swing when she told me she was "all done." Gap is having a great promo so of course I bought some clothes. I need to stop spending money. Haha. Taking her to the farmer''s market tomorrow.

Gosh, i feel terrible for Lindsey, life is so fragile and precious, just breaks my heart that things like this happen....
It is so heartbreaking! When Indy lost her boys I was so upset for her loss, we were due within days of each other and we were good PS-friends... but now that I have a child of my own, it is a million times more upsetting to hear this news and imagine what the parents must feel! When I read Lindsey''s post I just picked Hunter up and hugged him for about half an hour. It is so sad how many parents have to experience such a terrible thing. And she was so close
39.gif

Anyways, I don''t want to be a downer, but my DH is away for a couple of days and I have no one to talk about this with right now, so I wanted to post.

I hear ya DD. Being pregnant makes you emotional, so I would be really upset if I were pregnant and hearing the news, but as a mother it''s even worse. Even though Lindsey didn''t post a lot, she''s been around on PS for awhile and I always really liked her posts. I''m just devastated for her. I went through her nursery thread and just cried.

So let''s hug our little ones and say a little prayer for Lindsey, her sweet angel daughter and for her family.

If you''ll allow me to divert your attention, I can answer your question on the swaddling, how''s that?
2.gif
I stopped swaddling at 2 months. It took a few days and it was unnerving because Amelia was sleeping well and I didn''t want to ruin that! I backtracked a couple of times I think. I started with 1 arm out and I think managed to phase her into a sleep sack which helped the transition. But yeah, for the first few tries, she spazzed herself awake! I had to do transition at around 2 months because she was breaking out of the miracle blanket and it would sometimes tangle around her head and neck. If Hunter isn''t having these problems then you might be good to wait. I wouldn''t go much past 3 months though - and they should be a less jerky by then anyway.

Glad to hear the flat spot isn''t bad. I think many, many kids have little flat spots that don''t cause a bulge. Just a little flat spot, is all it is. That''s different from flat HEAD, so if you don''t let it get that far, I figure Hunter will be just ducky. Flat heads don''t cause any brain damage or anything - it''s just aesthetic. Some parents don''t even know it. A friend of mine has a kid who has a completely flat head because she slept in a carseat for the first 4 months of her life. Darn cute kid and it''s hard to tell now that the hair''s grown in, but the latest pics I''ve seen of her show a big broad forehead. She didn''t look like that when she was born, and I am pretty sure her mom is clueless.

janine thanks!!! i am super relieved that B is going to be ok. how is C doing with her separation anxiety?

diva thank you so much. how is james doing?

mrsS how did jake do with the milk? any reaction?

burk how is T doing? your DH travels a lot? you guys have os much on your plate right now with the house and everything, getting preggo will happen when it''s meant to happen for you guys. DH and i talked about it, and honestly, we want 2 kids so bad, but i am still beating myself up for B''s incident everyday. and a lot of the time, i can''t even sleep because i feel SO terrible. but we''ll see.

snlee how''s D doing? hope he''s still sleeping well so you and your DH can get some sleep. have you decided on the GTG?

blen hope you are doing better. you poor thing, you have been through crap with this!! SORRY!

DD that''s great that hunter slept 6 hours!! don''t mess with a good thing!! i stopped swaddling B at 2 months cause he was ready to not be swaddled. he was breaking free pretty easily. i just stopped for his nap one day and he did fine, so i didn''t swaddle that night either, and he did pretty well without it.

bobo haha!!! have you tried freeze dried fruits, other cereal? and the entire line of earth''s best snacks are pretty popular with the kids. but then again, B pretty much eats anything and everything.

curly lucy is so pretty!! i love her easter outfits! what a great smile she has also.

allie they are so handsome!! and i LOVE andrew''s blue eyes, so bright!!

tacori B''s healing great. i let him outside again today and he bird watched when he got tired of playing and climbing up and down his play set. have a great time at the farmer''s market!!

have a great weekend everyone!!!

Puffy--
Wow, I didn''t realized B needed that many calories to recup.
Hehe, that shouldn''t be a problem since that boy likes to eat
5.gif

QT--
Hehe, I guess you are right, she''s more interested in grabbing it to eat.
Thanks for the Wheely Bug suggestions....J really likes it.
So what animal are you getting for M?

fisher--
Why thank you
5.gif

Jas12--
Wow, fireworks too? Co really had a birthday bash huh?
That''s great about the great keepsake gift and from a celeb too
1.gif

Haha, I have to tell you that not only does she not nap, she''s still up at night too.
So do you still want to take her? Oh forgot to also add that now she''s into throwing her tantrum
38.gif

janine--
thanks. yes, that is my house. only that room looks nice
41.gif

diva--
thanks. i only let her eat the cake for the sake of one picture. LOL.
that''s so cute that James would roll the ball back and clap.
is he into handing things to you or people now?
that''s another fun game babies like to play too
9.gif

mrsS--
that''s great Jake''s skin cleared.
Hope he doesn''t have a reaction to the whole milk.
Good luck on his 1yr
36.gif
36.gif
appt.
J was supposed to have hers this past thurday, but she ran a fever so I had to cancel til next week.
Poor thing, she was cold-free the last week too.

Burk--
thanks. i know, she looks so big and has an attitude of a terrible 2 too.
i''ve trimmed her bangs once and didn''t do it again because she moved and I end up cutting off 1.5 inch -- it looked so funny.
other than snipping off the 10 strands of hair that were longer than the rest of the back, i hadn''t cut the back.
T''s hair looked pretty even no?
scissors and fidgety girls don''t mix
32.gif

you may be preggo buddy w/ Jas12 since they are not planning til Aug (right Jas12?
2.gif
)

snlee--
thanks. haha, i better hide my credit card when she''s able to control the mouse :P
how''s those nasty clogs? gone?

blen--
ahh...sorry about the mastitis. i hope it goes away soon and you feel better.
glad to hear that G is packing on the weight.
sounds like he''s doing great.
Oh....did you know that George and J has the same bday?
5.gif

DD--
woohoo about Hunter STTN.
that''s great. i''m so jealous.

Bobo--
thanks. that picture was taken w/ my BIL''s DSLR.
Hehe, so the cow is what you are getting little B then? :)
Are you getting the large or small?
Just want to let you know that J got the large one.....her feet just barely touch the floor, so she can move it but doesn''t have good control yet.
I think another month and it''ll be perfect.

tgal--
why thank you.
i can''t wait to see A''s party picture too!
You got to post the cake as well....mine is lopsided in case you didn''t notice
41.gif

Hadn''t tried their paradise cake, but they do look yummy though.
it''s hard for me to shell out $$ for the King''s Hawaiian''s cake when I can get them 1/2 the price in HI :P

Curly--
Eeee....those pictures of Lily in her Easter outfits are adorable.
She''s just like Lucy.....always have such a contagious smile.
It must be a giggle fest at your place w/ those two
5.gif

allie--
handsome boys your nephews are.
and those pictures are phenomenal.
love the b&w of Michael.

jas12--
i agree w/ Tgal, Charlie will need to invest in some bats if you guys have a girl.

Tacori--
thanks, i''m happy that I got some nice pictures for her first bday. It helps when you have 2 BILs who are into their DSLRs haha.
hehe, but isn''t that sorta anti-motivational. why would you bust your butt to lose the weight to pack in on later when you are preggo?
T is such a social butterfly.
You got to take your camera w/ you on your farmer''s market trip.....I bet you she''ll be buzzing about like crazy :)

Thanks for the kind comments every one I love those boys so much it makes it impossible to imagine how much love you feel when you have your own kids.

@lilli I love that picture of Mikey because he is not usually that pensive

That picture of Andrew is a true glimpse into his personality, he is always smiling. That is his cheese face, he puts it on every time he sees the camera come out.

This one is more Mikey :) sorry its so small I had to size down to meet the size requirements.

DD~Yay for 6 hours straight of sleep!! I agree that whoever decided that 6 hours is STTN was nuts...but 6 hours is 6 hours. Hope it continues!

mrss~Sounds like Jake is super close to taking off walking! How''d he do with the milk? T''s dietitian told me yesterday to try her at 8 oz of milk a day...we shall see how she does.

Bobo~Thanks!

Curly~Lucy is an absolute doll!

Allie~What adorable nephews! Your photography is amazing! Thanks for sharing.

Jas12~What a cool b-day present for Co!

Tacori~So cute about T loving the older girls. I put a bunch of stuff in my cart online at Gap...but held strong and didn''t process the order. I''m trying to do my part with this house building, saving money thing but it''s HARD!
14.gif

puffy~Yea, DH travels quite a bit. He''s home right now but leaves again on Monday. We have plenty going on right now without trying to worry about TTC. It''ll happen when it''s supposed to. I''m not worried. I know it''s easier said than done, but please try and forgive yourself for the accident. You are a great mom and you will be a great mom with 2 kids too! **HUGS**

lili~T''s hair used to look kind of stacked in the back, but now that it''s getting longer it is just kind of uneven looking. Although, it''s getting curlier so I''m thinking I should just leave it alone. I don''t think I''d stand a chance getting her to sit still to try and even it out in the back so I might as well forget it!
2.gif

DH took T this morning so I could go get a mani/pedi then we played outside for most of the day. I love spring!! Hope you''re all having a great weekend!!

well, Jake seemed to do okay with the whole milk. Nothing changed on his skin right away or even in a few hours after he drank it. I did notice he seemed a little raw at bathtime though, but his skin is never perfect so I don''t know if it was a delay from the milk or something else. I gave him a little bit again today. I''ll just be glad to get to the ped. and see what they say.

Burk, what do you give Tayva to drink since she doesn''t drink much milk?

Ok, I apologized first for the flooding to follow.

First off, these are for MsLinda (so I don''t get clobbered w/ her bat).

Bday decoration.

Lili, LOL, No you won''t get clobbered with my bat!!! ha ha ha. I LOVE all the pictures of little J. She is so darn adorable. I love the picture of her with her hoodie. She is just too cute for words. I bet she sure enjoyed her birthday cake.

lili haha, you got that right, B LOVES his food!! but i''ve been noticing that the past day or so, he''s been kinda picky about what he eats. this has never happened before. i usually put food on his plate, and he eats it. well today, he decided he was going to play with what he didn''t want to eat and eat what he wanted. after he was done playing with the food he didn''t want, he threw it on the floor. same with his snacks, he''s been pretty picky about those today. are you still nursing J? or is she on whole milk now?

burk and now you have even more time with just T!! thanks, i know it was an accident, but i can''t get it out of my mind. i''m not sure what''s going on. when i see B as happy as he is and playing outside, i really do feel like crying knowing that he is going to be just fine. the thing that i really can''t get out of my mind is the sound of the cry, which i hope i never have to hear again. i just can''t believe that i was that careless. a mani/pedi sounds heavenly!! i think i''ll get one on monday. i''ve got all or most of my spring clothes ready to go!! and tons of sunblock for B so he can have a ball bird watching. haha.

mrsS how is jake doing? did he show any signs of reaction to the milk? i hope he has a god check up on monday.

hope everyone has a great sunday!!

MrsS I''m glad Jake took whole milk without too many! I hope he isn''t intolerant. My DH is completely intolerant of dairy and it is so hard!
LILI love the pictures, what a cutie!

***

Well Hunter slept 6.5 hours last night
36.gif
And like a smart mommy I went to bed *almost* at the same time--he went down at 8pm and I went down at 9:30--and so I got 5 hours of sleep for the first time since he was born!

SH has been away for 48 hours and I cannot believe how tiring it is being solely responsible for a baby... and Hunter is the easiest baby I have ever met! I feel for all the single moms out there (like mine!) and for all the moms who''s hubby''s don''t help
14.gif
and for all the mom''s with fussy babies. At the end of the day you are just exchausted!

Swaddling Thanks for the advice everyone! Hunter breaks free once in a while, but I swaddle him in a "Swaddle Me" AND a receiving blanket, so he is very tight in there
2.gif
I think I will keep it up a while longer since it seems to really work well!

I''m feeling a ton better, but there''s still a hard lump in my breast that I can''t seem to get to go away. It was just gorgeous here yesterday and I think I overdid it (grocery shopping plus a walk around the block), so I''m going to be lying low again today. I also can''t stop thinking of Lindsey and Natalie Claire, and keep giving George extra hugs and kisses.

I''m also feeling really down about the fact that my maternity leave is already a third of the way through. Time is just flying by, and although DH is a great dad, I''m having a really hard time seeing me being able to leave George at home with him. (So at least I''m not having to put George into daycare in 4 weeks...) I wish that he could just find a job, but this economy is so horrible.

George has gotten extra fussy for the past couple of days and it''s getting much harder to figure out how to calm him down. Until now, he''s pretty much only fussed if he was hungry.

DD - that amount of sleep sounds heavenly.

Jas - that is a really cool birthday gift!

Lili - I didn''t realize that they share a bday! Cool!

Tacori - have fun at the farmer''s market!

Allie - what gorgeous nephews! Thanks for sharing.

Curly - those are great photos. Your girls are gorgeous.

TACORI - Your story about T with the older girls was so funny. She''s not shy at all! I agree that us moms should get a vacation without the kids or DH! I think I''d be bored out of my mind though
3.gif

LILI - James does sometimes hand a toy to somebody and want to play. If you hold a toy in front of him he''ll pick up another toy and hit them together. It''s soo cute.

DD - Wow, Hunter is such a good sleeper for you! Take advantage of it mama! I feel for the single moms and moms that have DHs that don''t help out. I''m super lucky (read:spoiled) because my DH is a natural with kids. He does the night-duty and is always "on call" if I need help with James. Sometimes it''s really hard for me when James decides to throw a temper tantrum because he''s big and I''m tiny and I''m always scared of hurting him so I call in hubby for reinforcement.

BLEN - I''m glad that you''re feeling better! Going back to work is so hard. I stayed home for 6 months and nearly lost my job in the process (long story) but I have to work. I went back in January and I''m into the routine now so it''s not so bad. James goes to an in-home daycare part-time and my MIL watches him. James has friends at daycare and he''s not to the separation anxiety age just yet but I feel guilty for having to leave him while I toil away at the office. We really want to get a house though so we''re doing what we have to do. Just concentrate on this wonderful time that you have with George because they grow up so fast!

It was so nice out here yesterday - the temp was probably around 70. DH is on-call for work so we''re kinda tied to the house, but I convinced him to take us out to lunch so we did. James had a great time sitting in the highchair banging a spoon on the table and then we took a mini walk when we got home. It''s cloudy and 50 today so we''re just hanging out.

My FIL is getting back from a medical mission tomorrow afternoon and my MIL is having major surgery on Wednesday. She was having some spotting and had it checked out and she has cancer. I think it''s endometreial (sp) cancer, but I don''t remember right now. From the biopsy it''s early and it does not appear to have spread to the lymph nodes or into her abdomen - we''ll know for sure after her surgery. She''s having a complete hysterectomy and removal of the lymph nodes in the area. She''s in good spirits and does not want anybody to overly worry about her because it''s very treatable and it''s extremely likely that it''ll all come out with the surgery.

Hope everybody is having a great weekend!

Question: Hunter had two poo blow outs today that came out the leg hole, on the bottom near his bum. Does this mean the diaper is too small or too big?? Seems a bigger diaper will have bigger leg holes, no? He is wearing huggies snug & dry.

DD--maybe try a different brand. The shape may not fit hunter''s physique. I think pampers are apparently better for boys (have *no* idea if this is true, or why, but Co has never leaked out of a pampers before). Or just buy one size up and try that (if it doesn''t work it''s no waste, he''ll use that size in a few weeks anyway)

DD-I agree with Jas you may just need to try a different brand. I use the huggies snug and dry for Jake and he's never leaked but he's a chunky monkey. There are also some blow out poo poo's that I don't think any diaper can handle. Jake had a couple of those before he started babyfood and solids and I don't think it had anything to do with the size diaper he was wearing.

blen-glad you are feeling better.

ok, funny Jake story for today. I was holding Jake in one arm and talking to my hubby on the phone with my phone in my other hand. there was a fuzzy of some sort in my mouth and I didn't have a hand to get it out so I stuck my tongue out and did the raspberry's and it made an imitation fart noise. Jake thought it was hilarious and burst into baby laughter. My hubby heard him laughing and asked what in the world was so funny. I kept doing it over and over just to hear Jake's giggles. I thought isn't it comical that already at the young age of one, he thinks fart noises are funny

Hmm... Hunter is more long and lean (no odea where he got that, DH and I are more like chunky monkey''s ourselves
3.gif
). Maybe we''ll try some pampers, since it seems that the leak happened because the leg holes aren''t tight enough.

mrsS awww, how cute!!! i love listening to baby giggles. so cute!!

DD i think maybe try another brand as well. B has always been in pampers, but when he was younger, like 2 months or so, he had a few major blow outs that no diaper would have handled. from talking to a lot of friends with kids, i think it might be a common thing to have blow outs, but i could be wrong.

beln glad that you are feeling better.

diva sorry to hear about your MIL. i hope the surgery goes smoothly. and it''s good to hear that she''s in such good spirits. how is james doing? is he a crawling machine now and getting into everything that he isn''t supposed to?

it''s been super nice out pat 2 days so i loaded B up with tons of sun block and we headed to the park with some friends. he had a great time. he was holding hands with his "girl friend" the entire time. and he kept giving her kisses and hugs. the funny thing is that she was totally into it also. haha.
and yesterday night we went to dinner where we were waiting for a table. B was walking around, talking to everyone and blowing kisses and all the good stuff. he then sees an older lady in a wheelchair. so he went over there and patted her and said hi and gave her a kiss on her hand. then he proceeded to rest his head on her lap. the lady was cracking up and thought that b was the cutest thing around. it was pretty funny. then he asked her if she was ok and she said yes. he then kissed her again and continued on his way. kids crack me up!!

Burk--
Oo....can''t wait for T''s hair to get longer so that we can see those lovely curls!
Haha, I say leave it. There is just no way you can get that girl to sit still for a trimming
1.gif

Yay for your mini pampering. I think we need that every so often.

MrsS--
Too cute about Jake going hysterical over your raspberry.
It''s funny how they are easily amused by the silliest thing.
But the funnier thing is that we''ll do those silly things or any extent to get those baby giggles
9.gif

Sounds like Jake is doing ok with whole milk.
Fingers crossed that it keeps up.
Good luck on Monday and can''t wait to hear his stat.
Boo for the upcoming shots though
8.gif

Linda--
Thanks. She sure did
5.gif

Puffy--
B sounds like a hoot and a caring one at that.
I bet you that elderly lady is just smitten by his charm!
Sounds like B is back to his jovial self and no permanent emotional scarring from the incident.
That''s interesting about B being picky w/ his food (but funny about him playing w/ them :P)
I guess it''s a phase thing.
I''m still nursing J. Didn''t have much luck with the whole milk since she''s a stubborn little girl.
Would rather starve then try the the whole milk.
I''ve mentioned that she boycotted all milk (even the breastmilk) last week when we tricked her w/ the whole milk

I''d hoped that I could wean her by one year....but it''s looking like it may take a little longer.
Perhaps putting her whole milk in a more fun cup would entice her more to give it a try?

DD--
Wow, 6.5 hrs.....that''s STTN.
And congrats on handling Hunter on your own!

Blen--
That''s great you are feeling better.
Hope the lump goes down soon.
Bummer about your short maternity leave though.
Don''t you just envy those in canada w/ almost a year long leave?

mrss~At first when she didn''t tolerate the milk we gave her formula (per her GI doctors recommendation). Now, we just give her water. She tolerates cheese and yogurt well so we try and get her dairy in that way and just give her water to drink. She also has some watered down juice at daycare with her afternoon snack. So cute about Jake giggling at the rasberry''s!!

puffy~More one on one time with T is a good thing! I can''t even imagine what you''re going through after the accident. I can''t say I''d feel any differently, but you can''t change what happened. Hope you''re off pampering yourself with a mani/pedi right now!

DD~I am quite often a "single mom" because DH travels a lot and it''s HARD. Especially when T was colicky.

I''m lucky to have my IL''s close as well as my parents so I can get someone to come stay with her at night while I go workout at least. Yay for sleep!! As for diapers...I agree with the others that maybe a new brand (we LOVE Huggies, but maybe Pampers would work better for Hunter) but also could do a bigger size to hold more poo....

Blen~Glad you''re feeling better! I don''t blame you for being sad to leave G home. I would be the same way. Enjoy every minute of your maternity leave. Oh, and it''s perfectly normal for babies to become a little more fussy at about week three.

Diva~Sorry about your MIL. Hope surgery goes well.

lili~Yea, I think I''m going to leave it. I will have to take a pic of these crazy curls she''s getting. I love them.

We had a big bump in our building a house road....having to switch builders. LONG story but needless to say we have to interview and pick a new builder this week. DH leaves for San Diego tomorrow so I''m going to have to pretty much do it myself. Yuck.
