Here is a recent picture of Tessa. She loved ''playing'' my parent''s piano.
Well aren''t all of our kids geniuses? I bet they learned the system when they were 2 weeks old! Hehehe...Date: 8/14/2008 12:16:23 AM

I know, it''s scary to think they know how to work the system at this tender age.
I hope so too that this is a phase -- a short one hopefully.
Hehe, I know...I''m not a morning person myself and when she gets up at 7 and refuses to go back down...
I find myself begging her to give me five more minutes of sleep by playing by herself.
Regarding reactions to breastmilk....I hope you are right.
I''ve always had dairy and soymilk, even when I was preggo.
I''ll try the soy for now and see how it goes.

Yay for Amelia rolling over.
It''s a happy and sad moment, don''t ya think?
I''m happy that they are developing nicely, but sad because they are growing so fast
and also because now we can''t just leave them unattended on the bed.
It won''t be long now before they are mobile.
Hm...well, I have noticed that she is more cognitive and emotive, but so far her sleep schedule hasn''t changed all that much. Perhaps because there is nothing interesting about her surroundings in her crib. No mobile, nothing on the walls. White ceiling, white walls, white sheets, green bumper. I didn''t intentionally make it that boring but it just sort of turned out that way.Date: 8/14/2008 12:56:26 AM

Tgal, lili - I don''t know if I use the right term. But from what I''ve read, babies at 4 month can have sleep difficulties due to cognitive and emotional developments. They are more alert and interested in their surrounding, and their sleep schedules get messed up.
hehehe, I always said J made up for the lack of sleep by being very advance in her motor skills!Date: 8/14/2008 12:39:26 PM

Yep, she roll overed both ways.
She hates being on her back more since she''ll pretty much rolled to her tummy as soon as I put her on the bed or the gym mat.
It was the funniest thing when she was first trying to roll over to her tummy.
She''d be on her back and have both of her legs perpendicular to the floor and swing with all her might and just flopped down to her side with no result.
She''d gather her energy and did it repeatedly. Her cousin was laughing at the clip I had.
I haven''t picked up any books on baby development -- who has time? Just read whatever update is on babycenter.
Thought the next one is sitting on her own...but I think you may be right about pushing up on her arm.
She''s done that several times. Her dad thinks that she''ll be crawling before learning on how to sit.
That''s good that Amelia wasn''t as flippylast night.
Probably had enough fun during her afternoon flippings

TGal, the photographer must have had good angles....well I was wearing 3'' heals so I guess you were close. IRL I hate wearing anything but flip flops. When my feet hurt I am crabby! T always hated tummy time too. That is why I was surprised she was an early crawler. Guess her desire to *move* was great. Oh and she started sleeping on her tummy around 4-5 months. Now she usually sleeps on her side or tummy with her tush in the air.
