Tgal - So awesome that you got the designer stuffs for Amelia. And the used clothes for $20 deal isn't too shabby either.
MrsM - I use the monitor when I am in our bedroom and M is napping in her crib or when I am eating downstair. I can hear her without the monitor in our bedroom if she cries since it's right across from her room, but I use the monitor because she doesn't cry much and only makes little noises. I think it's one of those things that is good to have just in case, but I don't think it's a necessity.
Jas & pinky - Co & J look adorable in their jumperoo. Make me want to get one for M.
snlee - I'm a little late, but like everyone said, just throw the target tanks in the washer and dryer. I think they only shrank in length.
Glad you like your pedi. I got too lazy in 3rd trimester to interview pedi, so we went with the one referred by our OB. We actually like him a lot, and even recommended him to our pregnant friend. We went to our pedi a few days after our discharge, then we won't see him til M is 1 month, then 2 months, 4 months, 6 months. Not sure how often after 6 months.
Burk - You think Tayva is getting ready to walk soon? That's probably exciting and more worrying for you.
Oh I had a really rough day with M yesterday because she refused to sleep. I rocked her, she dosed off, I put her down in her crib, and she just opened her eyes and be wide awake. That happened the whole day. It was tough because I can tell she was sleepy, but she just wouldn't sleep. Finally she went to bed at 10:30pm. Thank goodness, she was able to go back to sleep easily after the night feedings. Then today she was a total sleepyhead.

hello ladies!!
how r u all doing?? ive been MIA, but we''ve had a pretty rough past week(and a bit)...my husband got some food poising, then straight after my son got a stomach bug (lots of spitting/throw-up and diarrhea all thru out the day), then hubby got okay and i got the bug from my son and we were then both out of commission..i finally get better and the exact same day, hubby gets a really high fever and i had to come back home from work to take him to the hospital!! talk about one sick family..hopefully this will be the end of that..
it was really rough seeing little K not being able to eat anything or keep anything down...as soon as the spoon touched his mouth, everything came back out =(.... but hopefully all is under control now!!

WE ARE HOME!!!! YAYYAAAYYYYYYAHHHHH! No more trips til x-mas! Of course baby and I are both sick but at least I am sick in my *own* bed. DH actually was going to GOLF today! I told him no way was he going to leave his sick girls to golf. I never like being the kind of wife that doesn't allow him to do things but come on buddy! Tessa has entered her destructive stage. Everything is fair game. DH played with her in her nursery this morning....what a mess! I guess he just let her take everything apart. Guess my next baby proofing stage is going to begin.
Jas12, probably too late but we love our evenflo exersaucer. It's the one with the arch over it. Lots of toys and lots of fun for her. Can you put something under his feet in the jumper. That is what we had to do with Tessa. Co is so cute!

TGal, you are always so sweet to me! How exciting about the "new" clothes! Don't feel bad. You couldn't even SEE T's clothes for the longest time b/c she ALWAYS had a bib on.
Seriously if it wasn't for the grandma's she would have very little clothes. Almost makes me wish I have another girl so all this stuff can get worn again.
Lili, she has her bottom two teeth. No new ones have appeared but she does have a cold so she was probably fussy b/c of that.
MrsM, I keep my monitor on low (there are lights that show the noise so I know if she is screaming) plus I can usually hear her (my girl's got some lungs on her). Around 4 months they suggest baby ONLY sleeps in his/her crib. So that is where Tessa naps (before that it was usually her swing). You are lucky you have a sleeper!!!
She loved banging on the piano keys. It was pretty cute (but loud).
Snlee, I don't hand wash anything and never had a problem. I just washed them in cold. I went to the pedi at 1 week, 2 week, 1 month, 2 month, 4 month, 6 month, 9 months, will go at 12 months, 18 months, 2 years. Then I think it is every year.

Hi everyone!
I know I've been MIA for a while. I've been lurking but not really too much to contribute these days--I'm kind of in my own world. My mom had a polyp in her colon that had to be removed via surgery and was in the hospital for about 5 days and spent 3 of them in a crazy, hallucinating state as the drugs were too much for her body to handle. So it was pretty stressful for all of us, not to mention being 34 weeks pregnant, working and taking care of a 15 month old! Yes, this is a "curlycentric" post but I'll try to catch up on everything and reply to everyone later. Great photos, though. They've made me smile--keep em coming!!!
Here's one of Miss Lily who can't help but climb on everything she sees. Do you think I should send this to Huggies and see if they'll hire her to be their spokesmodel?! We LOVE their wipes!!!!

I don''t think you need a really expensive one. She has only been sick once before and I was sick that time too! Hard to deal with her and myself but I must say she handles it MUCH better than me. If it wasn''t for her running nose you wouldn''t know she was sick.

So is it strange that T did the army crawl for 2+ months. Loved it (and was fast) Now she does a cross between a regular crawl and crawling on her hands and feet (like a triangle with her butt in the air). Is that a sign of walking soon?

Gemma, I actually told him that it hurt my feelings he even thought about golfing when I am sick, she is sick AND we were away for 2 weeks. He totally DOESN''T get it. At least he asked I guess
