Burk, these pictures are fabulous! What a sweetheart. You guys look great, too. One of the down sides to an earlier baptism is that DH and I still look shellshocked and sleep deprived in photos!

Sorry to hear about the situation with your MIL.
I hope your DH will take care of it soon.
My sister has the same problem as well.
FIL babysits her son and basically gave him the bottle the whole day even though he is very capable of eating solid.

Questions for all mommies:

At what age do you guys feel comfortable letting your LO sleep on their tummy?
J keeps turning over to sleep on her belly whenever her back gets too hot.

lili: i think it was when little K was at the 5/5.5 month mark where i let him sleep on his tummy..he just slept so much better that way...but i tested it out first during nap times...when i saw he was able to handle it fine, i then introduced it at night as well..

Lili, T started sleeping on her tummy around 4 months. I felt comfortable with it when she could roll both ways. Honestly I realized quickly unless I was going to stand over her crib all night there was nothing I really could do about it. The good news is I think she slept better on her tummy. Now she switches from her tummy to her side. I still can''t get over J''s hair! So cute!!! I found these really cute cupcakes on Nickjr.com. So I think I am going to do white with a pumpkin patch on top and then chocolate with a mummy on top.

TGal, hope you are enjoying a break. I know you must miss Ame. Wished our WI trips lined up. Oh well.

MsF, love Ian''s invite. Where are you printing them? Guess I need to design T''s soon.

Diver, I am doing good! So glad all our traveling is over. Tessa does have great cheeks

Baby chub is the best. D''s b-day is going to be a blast.

JACKIE IS A MOM!!!

She said the boys are perfect and "smooshie" and that she had the best labor ever and the drugs work wonders. Also, she says her heart isn''t "big enuf." Awwww!!!!

Thanks Tgal, lili, diver, msb, bobo, mrsm, and Tacori! I laugh just thinking about it. We actually had people come up to us afterward saying it was the best baptism they''d seen.....not sure anyone heard a word the pastor said, but T was a hit!

Diver~You will have to post pics of D at her baptism after! I so wish we all lived close so the kiddos could all play together. T and D would have a blast....you and I might get tired, though!

mrsm~I''m sure you will look like a beautiful family in pics....we are all tired at that stage so no one will be judging (shoot, I''m tired now and T sleeps through the night!!). Make sure you post them after Amelia''s baptism!

lili~I echo what Tacori said-I wasn''t going to fight T every time she rolled onto her belly so at around 4 months when she started rolling onto her belly when I put her in her crib, I just let her stay there.

msb~Too cute you got a hug and a kiss. Must have melted your heart!

Funny story-I left T''s bumper off after we moved her mattress down last night because I was too lazy to put it back on. When I go in to get her out of her crib this morning, she is laying there with BOTH legs out the slots and she''s just laughing and talking like it''s just the funniest thing ever. I about died. Bumper back on tonight. I felt like such a bad mommy!

Okay...I think T is trying to go down to one nap

Hopefully it will be one LONGER nap then. She JUST went down at 2

That is highly unusually for her and I tried to force her to nap twice before so finally gave in. On a positive note she has been sleeping in to 8am so that''s good at least.

Tacori~She''s getting so big!! One nap!?!?! If it makes you feel any better, when my nephew went to one nap, his one nap became 2-3 hrs. He still (at 2 and a half) naps for 2-3 hours.

Omigosh...I am so excited! I just got concert tix to see the Goo Goo Dolls in AZ in october. Section C, row 7!!!! (there is a small "front" area with 4 or 5 rows in sec A--so I think I''m about 11 or 12 rows back from the stage) GREAT SEATS! regarding sleeping on tummy, little B's been rolling around like a pro lately and I caught him sleeping on his tummy two nights in a row lately. The first time I freaked out a bit, I rushed to his crib and flipped him and check his breathing...after the second night I thought I can't just stand there and flip him all night long so I thought he will be ok since he can roll now....

ETA: thanks Skippy! I tell ppl, he is 15 lb. and the cheeks alone are 10 lbs.

He never rolls over unless it''s an accident and he is very chill so i am sure i''ll be dragging his little tush thru the grocery store when he''s 3 and Jadie will be skipping beside you helping u load the cart

Bobo--luv the avi. Sorry to hear about the drama with your MIL. I don''t have much advice cuz i have a feeling i will be in the same boat when i have to go back to work. My MIL has offered to babysit full time which is so nice, but like you, i can see us clashing on *many* issues...oy

I just got a cute surprise this evening. My best friend works at baby gap and while i was out running errands she snuck in the house and put 2 little halloween onsies in the nursery. I will have to post pics. One says "i want my mummy" (with a pic of a mummy) and one says "little monster'' which is very fitting for Co
