I didn't know there was such a breed, Mayk. Obviously there is a reason that the breed was given that name: they look like tigers!!! I know less than nothing about cats. He is gorgeous. If you have the time and inclination, tell me more about Bengals. The talking sounds sweet.

YT, I love all dogs. It doesn't matter if they are young or old or if they are pretty. I just love their doggie essence. But your dogs are so totally heart throbbingly beautiful and cuddly that they call out with their eyes and their bodies to be cuddled.... Every time I see them I just wish I could grab them and cuddle them.

Exacta and I still miss Filly.

Exacta doesn't stray too far from me, without his shadow brother for company. This is where he planted himself when we got back from overseas.

Someone on a forum I belong to recently posted a photo of a Leonberger puppy at three weeks. Its eyes were still blue, as newborn kittens' and puppies' eyes are. (You could only see one eye, actually.) I will try to copy it and repost it here for you, dk. I loved it.

This little guy is going to grow up to be a big Leonberger. Here he is only three weeks old and still with his mother. Her litters are very large. I believe that he was one of 13!!!

Here are my babies. Our newest addition is Sam, a weimaraner from a rescue. Josie is my cavalier king Charles who also holds a piece of my heart, I adore her. Brody is my border collie mix that I rescued 12 years ago.

I just adore every ones furbabies keep those pictures coming!

Just a quick story I'll try and make it short.

So mine have yet again reinforced that they own me and I am basically "screwed" and at the same time make me realize how truly blessed I am by having them in my life they are my heart and life would be oh so not the same without them.(going through a rough time right now the fil is possibly in final stage of dementia).

So Miss Gracie decided to pee on the floor about 2 inches away from the pee-pad, I saw her, proceeded to get the cleaner and paper towels and go clean it up. She stayed there didn't even budge, so I in turn proceeded to lecture her on how she shouldn't pee on the floor and it wasn't nice and she's a big,beautiful and smart girl and how much I love her. She sat there cocking her head listing to me and the others slowly approached and encircled me while I was sitting on the floor ( I thought to myself oh oh what's going on here they never did this before!). When she saw I was finished with the lecture she came up to my face gave a quick kiss to my nose and left, the other 4 proceeded to do the same! lol I stayed on the floor and laughed until I cried. They truly are amazing.

Thanks Deb! They are my world! You should come and give Livi a hug! She gives the warmest, most cuddly hugs ever! If you've had the worst day of your life, one hug from the baby and you forget all your problems.

She also has very kissable lips.


I think she might have stolen something.


They may act all tough, but they love each other.


They also get haircuts this Saturday! Woohoo!

Here's my babies.

I actually saw those two earlier in the thread, YT, and would KILL to be able to cuddle with them! You would have to lock them up if I were ever in the vicinity! They are the most gorgeous, most cuddly dogs I have ever seen and I believe you had them since they were puppies, too! Are they Springer Spaniels? Can you repost puppy pictures? (I feel sure I saw some!)

They aren't actually. From different parents too. Livi was born on February 1st of 2007 and Emma was born on October 14th of 2007. Livi's birthday is coming up!

Yesterday I went to the train station and picked up my daughter who had just spent the long weekend in Virginia visiting her father. As we were driving down a long stretch of road beside some wooded land, talking about Griffin, I looked out the window and saw him trotting happily along the sidewalk! Well...he stays in a fenced in yard when he is left outdoors, but my father (who is 93) may have gone out and failed to close the gate adequately. Griffin does not wear a collar routinely (allergies) and I had no leash in the car. So I left my daughter with the dog (she had to follow the disobedient rascal) and drove home for a collar and leash. Then we had to chase him (I in the car and she on foot) up a steep hill in a housing development where my daughter sometimes walks him. She had only been wearing a sweatshirt, so I had to give her my coat, but she had no hat or gloves. I ended up blocking his route with my car and she then had to walk him home since he won't jump into a car and we are not strong enough to lift him anymore!!!

Then today it started to snow. So he lay down outside and got covered with snow. Only when I went outside to take his picture, did he move. I didn't get any good pictures, because as soon as I went out, he wanted to follow me and, therefore, was up against my legs the whole time. I am posting one, however.

In the meantime I see wonderful new dog pictures in this thread that I have to look at here and respond to. That will be a great activity during the upcoming snowstorm if I don't lose my cable service!!! We are expecting 6 to 12 inches and I just got a telephone message from the police department with instructions on how to conduct myself on this declared, "snow emergency". It is cold now (17 degrees), but I think we have all gotten used to it. I don't feel it anymore.
