Good try but I don't collect topaz.

Can't wait to see the ovals. I think the supernova will be a great choice for this colour.

More space for bling, my dear!! :naughty: :naughty:

Yay! A teaser pic of the sibling stones. Pyramid and DK: your stones look great. The supernova cut is a great choice.

Doug will get in touch with all of you about your stone.

Message from doug:
Here is a teaser pic... one big happy family. Pretty special... I've never cut this many gems from the one stone... the most I had done before was three. Here's a family of six.

Ricezo and others who might be interested:
Doug actually has one more piece of rough left that might cut another oval or rectangle cushion maybe around 8.5x12-ish or something... so potentially seven siblings. And there is another smaller offcut that might also do an 8-9mm trillion. So eight siblings!

Excellent! Where's dear Ricezo? Doug also has 2 pieces left for 7 to 8mm asschers. Are you interested Ricezo?

Wow! What a family Doug has there!  :lickout: Those look amazing! I'm so excited for everyone. :D Can't wait to see individual hand shots once they're received.

Just home from work, and loving my stone, the littlest one in the family. Beautiful gems:-)

Don't shoot me, however, I am interested in the small 8-9mm trillion as it would make a nice daywear ring.

And oops for the double post above!

DK

Pyramid and DK: so glad you love the ovals!! They are stunning. Looking forward to see how you will set them. DK: I can imagine you do not mind more of this gorgeousness! Keep us updated on the possible trillion project.
Lovinggems: I agree... Where is Ricezo??? She could become our sibling 8-)

Thank you for sharing the fun Sparkliesluver and Minousbijoux!

THE FINAL OUTCOME
I just got the specs of my stone and the official group pic from Doug. The others will receive their specs as well.

The specs for my stone:
#807, Natural Blue Topaz, Asscher Cut, 10.94x10.94x9.11mm, 8.32ct

Hopefully the others will share their specs too. I am curious to learn whether a PSer might opt for the last pieces of rough left from the mother stone. Will DK indeed opt for an additional trillion?

So happy with the beautiful outcome. I have enjoyed the process and working with Doug: thank you for creating these fabulous stones!

Mine is #806, 10.93x10.93x9.39mm, 8.32ct.
Strange that mine seems deeper than yours but it turned out to be the same weight and almost the same size facing up.

Come on, fess up, who has requested for a pair of Asschers???!!!

The spec of my stone is 13.16x9.78x7.81mm, 6.65ct.

DK

Mochiko and Acinom: do you know which stones are yours in the group shot?

Here's the spec of the baby sister.
9.95x9.95x8.32mm, 6.25ct
Also I am getting a pair of baby asschers, they'll be for a pair of earrings!
Ricezo Doug mentioned there's one more piece of rough left!

Congratulations everyone, I am excited in becoming stone sisters with all you lovely ladies.

Great specs Mochiko, DK and Lovinggems!

mochiko: mmm, good question. I am curious too. I have forwarded your question to Doug.

DK: sooo curious to hear whether you went along with your trillion :naughty:

Minousbijoux: I do not know which one is mine or Mochiko's. Perhaps Mochiko does?

Lovinggems: yay!!! That's great news. What a good idea to have studs or earrings made. You will have a gorgeous suite of Topaz jewelry.

The smallest oval is 9.18 x 6.99 x 5.92mm and is 2.50 carats.
