It might not be too exciting though. A lot of waiting. The house purchase and ring recut feel like nothing but waiting, waiting, and then some more waiting. And I HATE waiting!!! Nobody ever accused me of being patient

All these little side distractions are just that--- distractions. I like that oval with the rose gold, but I should probably actually commit to buying the stone first. I think I''m gonna go do that now........ The waiting has gotten to me............... I''m BUYING something!!!

As for me....we are getting SOOOO CLOSE!! I''m set to call my jeweler tomorrow to see if they have sent back my ering and wedding band so that we can move on to the final steps. (they were supposed to be casting it in platinum in CA last week. ) So very excited. My goal is to have my rings by October 15th...which really is only 3 weeks away. My guy says it MAY be sooner though.

I''m so happy after an awesome weekend though...so for me...it''s all good. Hope everyone had a great weekend too!

Here are the CADs. The sapphires look quite a bit lighter than they do IRL, I think. Also, I had them go two sapphs, two diamonds to give an extra PUNCH of color since the stones are so small.

I''m not in love with the spinel because it''s much, much darker than it looked in pics. It looks nearly black indoors in diffused light.

I still need to take it outside to photograph it, but so far, I still am looking for something for my split shank.

I picked a setting!!! I''m going to post in my thread over in SMTR - but I wanted to tell you all first - Scott Kay won by a landslide when I saw them side by side. And no, not at BBB, I drove 45 minutes away to another mall. Now all I have to do is call Julian tomorrow and order the setting!!!

WOW Lauren....all of those are yummy!! I am in lust with your collection. Makes me want MORE of them. I''ve already bought 3 in about a month though, (2 stackies and a white sapphire). I promised my FF/FI that I would wait until I get my ering. ....so I live vicariously through all of you.
