Congrats, Lauren! I was one of the competing bidders for that stone! I''ve been searching for a OEC or a OMC to set in a pendant. I''m glad a fellow PS''er picked it up. Hope you love it!

I''ve been lurking on this thread because I wasn''t sure if it is for those waiting for rings with colored stones only and didn''t have time to read through the entire thread. I sent my cushion to have Leon set it in a solitaire earlier this month and I just got the fed ex email confirmation that it''s due to arrive tomorrow at 10:30a!!! WOO-HOO!!!! But, why, oh why, did I promise my honey that I wouldn''t open the package?!? He said that since I basically picked the stone and the setting for my ering, the least I can do is preserve a small element of surprise. It''s gonna kill me...

It is raining buckets outside though - I can''t get decent pics from inside my apartment. The sapphire looks amazing outside even though it''s all cloudy - the concave faceting really sparkles!

Even BF said wow!

My stone is graded and on it''s way overnight back to Whiteflash! They''re charging my credit card now for the new lower sitting platinum head and said they will ship it out-- OVERNIGHT--- either on Thursday or Friday!!!! So they''re saying I''ll be wearing my ring again by Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!

ALSO, my diamond is an H!!! It went from a very steep deep 1.44 I vs2 with an HCA score of 4.3, to a 1.35 H vs2 with an HCA score of 0.9!!!! The only thing I wasn''t loving is that it used to have faint fluorescence, now it says "negligible". But that''s ok, I can buy a highly fluorescent stone later to play with in the sun! The polish and symmetry were both excellent as well! AWESOME!!!! It didn''t come with a light performance grading because Brian said it graded better with a report than with a certificate. Or something like that. But Vera said the numbers are all within ACA range and it should be a beauty. SOOOOOOO excited now!!!!!!!!

Also, my garnet came today. It''s lovely but it just can''t compare with the excitement of my ring coming home soon! My fiance has the camera in his truck, but this weekend after getting my ring back I will be doing a MEGA PHOTO SHOOT!!!! I''ll take shots of the garnet then too.

My wait is almost over................................................................ Did I mention I''m excited??????

As for me.......4 DAYS and COUNTING until Friday afternoon.

I am shooting right out of work to head to the jeweler to pick it up. Hoping to have a MEGA shoot by Saturday morning. Then the FI and I are heading over to my parent''s (i think) to tell them so that they can fume about it for a while and then get over it. (If you read my "should I wear my ring" thread you understand what I mean) Hopefully it won''t be toooooo much DRAMA!!!

So exciting to see so much progress on everyone''s FAB projects!! Lots to see coming soon...

Thanks for your excitement everyone! Seriously, I canNOT wait until I get it. Saturday will be fine, but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hoping for Friday! I don''t even work on Friday so I will have the whole day to gawk at it if I get it then. Vera said it would be at the fed ex holding place by 10:30 on which ever day so keep your fingers crossed for me ok??? Cross them super hard, cause if I get it Friday, the photo shoot will happen a lot sooner since I work all day Saturday!

No way, Panda! I didn''t know he had other offers on the table - oh, and as it turns out, the seller is a PS member/lurker!

I just received the diamond today, and I posted pics in the LOGR thread. It''s really beautiful in person, and since I''ve never had a loose round diamond with an overabundance of fire before, I thought it might have been fake. Then I flashed my ering, necklace, and earrings in the sun, and they all had similar rainbow/white light patterns. I''m still taking it to my jeweler tomorrow to make sure it al checks out ok.
