Updates:

1) LOGR setting is on its way!
2) Dan Stair umbalite garnet for the LOGR is on its way! Yay!
3) Jeff is cutting something for me - but I won't say what yet - it'll be a surprise
4) Finally got a decent jewelery box for all my new stuff - it was about time!
5) Haven't decided what to do with the morganite yet - right now, I think I'll keep it loose since I just love looking at it in its box but I'm talking with James Allen reps again about a simple four-prong setting with double claws
6) That is the end of my gem purchases for awhile - I'm running out of resources (although Christmas IS coming up and BF did suggest I start thinking about possible gifts...

)

I know there are.... I''ve seen them! I actually found some fun ones on QVC the other day.

So, I''ve decided to go ahead and get a plain knife edge band to wear initially with my ring, so I can try on 8 million and 4 bands and find the perfect one!

Cool. I don''t have enough rings (yet

) to really need one, but rings are my FAVORITE! The rest of my over-sized jewelry box is either empty or filled with cheap costume jewelry.

I like the plain knife-edge band idea. It''ll be fun to try on a million things until you find your favorite, but you''ll have a good basic one for the time being.

Yeah. I like the ArtCarved one, but I really want to try it on WITH my e-ring. I found a palladium bandfor $80, so it''s no big deal.

I ended up doing a search for jewelry boxes and came across some good sites. I got this one - which is a nice, simple design, but substantial and large enough that I''ll have it for awhile (and it has a lot of compartments for earrings, which I needed!)<

LMAO. I''m laughing because I told the hubster that I needed some motivation to lose weight. He told me when I get to my goal he''ll get my the bezel band to go with it! Dang them an knows how to motivate me, LOL! SO no ice cream for me!

In the meantime, I actually think I''m going to get a pave pand - I used to HATE pave, but I tried one on and actually liked it! We''ll see....

How exciting for you Dani it''s coming so soon!!! And THAT is an awesome inspiration to lose weight. I should try that with MYSELF!!! I only need to lose a few pounds, but I just can''t give up the FOOD!!! And I finally found a wedding dress that my fiancee likes, actually, two of them! And he''s really picky about it for some reason. I''d feel a whole lot better in any kind of dress if I dropped a size. Maybe I should promise MYSELF something pretty if I hit my goal! We should start a thread and call it "dieting for diamonds!"

My anniversary band came today! I got a confirmation from WF last night, and made it a priority this morning to drive (forever) to pick it up!

I absolutely love, love, LOVE it. The melee are SO sparkly. I had it on in the car on the way home, but took it off at a stoplight because the sparkle was distracting and I thought I might crash!

Unfortunately, while we did have some sunbeams in Oregon this morning, things have turned cloudy again, so I can't take any really great pictures. This one I took with the cloudy light, so the color of the sapphs are off a bit (they're more periwinkle).

Specs:

.13 ctw diamonds
.17 ctw periwinkle sapphires
2mm palladium bead set band

Here's another photo showing how delicate it is. I also had them make it as low as possible so it'd be comfortable. And it truly is! I believe the thickness (from finger) is 1.6mm.

Good for you! I have not. I have a bad cold now so I''m pigging out on chinese food and orange juice LOL! But the sun is coming through my window and making pretty rainbows on the ceiling through my ring. That''s fun to watch!
