The National Theatre is delighted to announce that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall has become its Royal Patron. The Duchess, a long-standing supporter for the arts, is a devoted fan of theatre and champion of literature and drama.

The patronage is passed to The Duchess of Cornwall from Her Majesty The Queen.

In connection with the announcement, a new portrait of the Duchess was released. HRH is seen wearing her antique pink topaz choker and pendant earrings:

The detail on this brooch is amazing, but in order to truly appreciate it you can't wear it on a patterned dress. The detail gets lost. This looks best with a solid colour background.

i beleave the one Prince Philip wore into the 70s belonged to his father
all of Queen Victoria's sons wore pinky rings like she did and in the Gernan tradition

Attention PS experts, I have a question!
Have the sapphire earrings been altered? I think the dangly bit used to hang from solitaire diamond on a lever back hook before, but the pics from yesterday suggest the solitaire is now a stud that goes directly into the ear. Am I imagining this? Do you think the earrings have lost some of their charm with the alteration (I do)?

And a collections of bracletes like Camilia does
i know Kate is very much her own woman but taking a bit if inspiration from those further up the food chain would be nice (for us)
