The Countess of Wessex is in Botswana & Malawi this week to see the lasting legacy of the work undertaken by
@QEJubileeTrust
. The Trust was set up in 2012 in Queen Elizabeth’s name with the aim to end avoidable blindness across the Commonwealth and beyond. HRH was Vice Patron.
The Countess of Wessex visited Molefe Primary School today as pupils took part in eye screenings, part of the Pono Yame school eye health programme. Pono Yame, ‘My Vision’, and
@MoHWBotswana
are conducting a nationwide eye health screening for all school children.

"I am extremely proud that the
@QEJubileeTrust
played a vital part in funding the early testing of this amazing programme. Her Late Majesty placed eyesight at the forefront of the work of the Trust, working across the Commonwealth." - The Countess of Wessex

We must've been typing and checking Twitter at the some time LOL

The Dutch royal couple is starting a three-day State Visit to Sweden today. The two houses have always been close and various members of the families enjoy a godchild-godparent connection.
On the occasion the Swedish royal court has shared some glittering photos from previous state visits between the two countries/families.

and the Queen says read to your kids !!!!

sometimes i fantazise about being the Countess of Wessex :lol-2:
not that i have a thing for Prince Edward - not that there is anything wrong with him mind;)2
but i would need bigger jewles (Including a better tiara -lab stones would be ok ;)2 )

but if all those clothes that went to Africa left no room in the suitcase for a bigger jewlry box i would just buy local - at all price points - and pile it on
look how beautiful this lady in the yellow dress looks
