bit of a moan
i think the first royal commonwealth tour of this reign should have been to an actual realm country where Charlie is actually king
i do get the Kenyan connections and we have just had a general election here and their are rules about royal tours not being too close to an election, but i want my King and my Queen

everyone forgets that Elizabeth and Philip's trip to Kenya was just a wee holiday before a tour of Australia and NZ to thank us for our war effort, as King George was surpossed to come in 1947 but it was put off due to HM's ill health, i have a tour souviner


oh and Cam, i want all the bling when you finally get out here
on The late Queen's first trip out here she wore her corrination dress and her great grandmother's tiara

Don't know if people realise it, but the two tiaras (Sonja's and Mette-Marit's) are the replacements for what was stolen at Gerrard's in 1995.
Sonja's tiara is a replica, while the amethyst parure is a substitute for the pink topaz parure from Queen Sofia of Sweden.
