Perhaps I am old school, however, I find posting the actual invitation via social media kind of bad taste.
Each to their own and all that.

@Daisys and Diamonds I so miss all the wonderful brooches!
I love the dripping-with-jewels looks of Queen Victoria and Queen Mary. And, can you imagine the size of the sapphire in the top necklace?!?!
@Daisys and Diamonds : no, darling, though I love you so much, I must disagree...pinning a brooch on a Hermes foulard - well, IMO on any silk foulard - is a sacrilege
im not into scarves sorry so the name didint mean anything
but i promise not to do this, now i know better, will the brooch make a hole like the kilt pin did not my school uniform kilt?
when i was a wee girl i used to dress my sister's toy lamb up in mum's 1970's silk scarves and pretend she was the Queen
i liked what the scarves felt like but i kind of styled them turban style more Princess Margaret than HM
Sorry for my mispellings , I'm facing problems both with the phone and the site
Catherine, the Princess of Wales, could take lessons from the Swedish royal ladies on up-do's!

The Nobel Prize ceremony is usually considered Tiara Christmas by royal jewellery watchers, but since we've been so spoiled by glittering galas, weddings and banquets this year, they feel like just another week... Another GLITTERING week!
The Queen wore the Nine Prong tiara, as she usually does every other year. To it she added the pink topaz earrings and brooch and a small diamond rivière.
The Crown Princess was a dream in purple and very nicely accessorized with pieces from the family's Napoleonic amethyst parure, including a brooch in the hair.
Next we have Princess Sofian with her wedding tiara and matching earrings. Sofia, who doesn't wear a lot of Bernadotte heirlooms, decided to showcase two Swarovski necklaces. She could've done better...
HRH rather reminds me of Queen Louise of Denmark at the time of the wedding of her grandson the Duke of York to the original Magpie - Mary.
Moving on to Princess Christina, Mrs. Magnuson with the Carl Johan tiara and pearls from her own collection.
And last but not least, we have another Bernadotte descendant - Countess Bettina Bernadotte af Wisborg wore a delicate tiara in diamonds and sapphires. It was made using a dress set that had belonged to King Gustaf V of Sweden & Norway.
If she had gone with the top necklace alone, this would have worked.
