The annual event is celebrated on the eve of 11 March, the day of the 2004 Madrid train bombings.
After the concert, Their Majesties met representatives of the Spanish Radio Television Symphony Orchestra and Choir and the featured soloists.

Princess of Wales on Mother's day, March 10th 2024, with her three most precious jewels, her beautiful children.

its a lovely photo, i hope she is starting to feel better,
sometimes the people who write the horrible comments in the online 'news' sites forget that Catherine's most important job is to grow a future king and two supportive siblings and by saying that i am in no way critizing Diana & Charles or Elizabeth & Philip

in honor of Prince Edward's birthday
1710103374450.png

i wonder where all those extra rings are now?- HRH was a mature successful working woman at her engagment, they might be quite nice

actually my favorite royal wedding
1710103538200.png
for Prince Edward's gap year in 1982 he did six onths in NZ including here in Wanganui as a house master at
Wanganui Collegiate which is a very posh boarding school here in town, most UK publications tend to forget about it and this article doesnt even say its in Wanganui
people who remember all say what a nice young man HRH was, always polite and friendly (even though you wernt ment to speak to him)

oh look he on the health stamp in 1973
1710104856245.png
health stamps used to fund the kids health stamps that used to cater to kids through illness or family situation needed a bit of fresh air and good food

our river is a gem !

ok so my favorite royal wedding but not my favorite royal wedding jewles
but there is a lot of love in that necklace, i kind of would like to see HRH wear it again but i kind of dont -perhaps on Lady Louise
and the tiara has been thankfully tweeked since
1710105418574.png
at the Trump state banquet, it reappaired after about ten years in the back of a drawer
i do think it is a gesture of love to wear the wedding tiara at someone else's wedding

Sophie has had some great tiara occassions with all these weddings and that is just this one tiara
1710106570357.png
i think HRH may have worn the earrings recently but poor edward does not have his father's eye for design, these need pulled apart and reconfigured

sitting empty and forlournly in a London museum
(could we not have a wip around and buy some lab stones for Queen Vic)

Originally composed of a diamond circlet which featured alternate fleur-de-lis and cross pattée as well as detachable greek honeysuckle (anthemion) elements and the possibility to attach the legendary Koh-i-Noor Diamond, this Regal Circlet was originally created by Garrard in 1853 by remaking Queen Adelaide’s Diamond Circlet with the addition of diamonds from Queen Charlotte’s wedding stomacher and the Cumberland Diamond, though after the Hanoverian claim in 1858, when all the diamonds had to be returned, additional diamonds supplied by Garrard and redundant jewels were used to complete the Circlet by 1859, also featuring a large diamond from the Ottoman Sultan.

a definate improvement from the cat's ears,
i blame Diana and Fergie
1710107074036.png

i think it would have looked better with the lower central element being removed complety IMHO
perhaps it could have been a pendant on a necklace or just a spair part, perhaps in that museum with the empty circlet
it almost belongs in my fixed repairs thread as a repurpose, i love the idea, and Prince Edward loves history and it does seem it was Queen Victoria's but something went amiss in the exicution

im monday here, my day off, i should be you know cooking and cleaning but im thinking about Sophie's wedding necklace,
perhaps i would dismantle the cross and just make a nice white necklace and have a pair of studs made with the two Tahitains
but i think it would hurt Edward's feeling, but then their would be something for Jame's future wife as well as Louise
and pearls like to be worn and a classic pearl necklace would just be so useful on each and every royal engagment
this is the Queen Mum trout fishing in NZ

Replying to myself: fake photo...agencies claim that the picture was "manipulated".

Replying to myself: fake photo...agencies claim that the picture was "manipulated".

i have been reading that too but some say all photos are some what manipulated these days and that this was a job that just needed a bit more attention to detail from whoever
of course i cant find that article now but im not making it up
but a few hours i read that and now when i google there are like 500 stories all feeding into the conspircaie theoriests (excuse terrible spelling)

i just think that maybe William is not as good at photography as his wife and they needed to clean it up a bit - but who ever did it, did it in a hurry and didnt do the best job
and as for no rings, perhaps HRH has lost weight and they need to be resized or she just doesn't wear jewlery at home

there was a time when all the glossy mags airbrushed all there photos sometimes to the exstreme so im not going to panic, Easter will be here near enough

photoshop fails are saddly not a one off
remember the 2023 xmas card and poor Louis was missing a finger

Photos of Queen Anna-Maria of Greece wearing her sapphire and diamond engagement ring. The first one was taken in 1968 and the second one a few days ago, at the Thanksgiving Service, held in honor of HM the late King Konstantinos of Greece, in London.
All her daughters in law also received sapphire and diamond engagement rings, which were custom made with sapphires that came from the Queen's personal collection.
