while i am a big supporter of our version of constitional monarchy and a lover of royal history and a very loyal and proud royal subject .....i need the jeweles for stress releaf and i have imsonia !:lol-2:
and the hats = i love the hats:kiss2:
(but im not so interested in the shoes and clothes ...except when the men wear kilts ;)2

but these days with 50 odd year old eyesight and minimilist jewellery trends its often a case of spot the earrings or teeny tiny necklace ... or in worst cases (except for Princess Charlotte or Princess Estelle of Sweden) friendship bracelets

please always excuse ,my terrible spelling, grammer and puntuation

Brooch day !

Queen Camila visits Westminster Abby as patron of the Westminster Abbey Sacristy Project this morning to view the site of The King Charles III Sacristy – a new building being constructed adjacent to the Abbey on the footprint of a medieval building.

Autumn is State Visit season and the Danish royals kicked off things yesterday hosting the new President of Iceland. This is Frederik and Mary's first incoming State Visit as King and Queen.

The evening saw a glittering banquet at Christiansborg Palace, seat of the Danish Parliament, in Copenhagen.

Queen Mary took the opportunity to debut some new Queenly jewels from the family vault. She's already worn the pearl tiara in Oslo, but it was her first time in the impressive diamond riviere and pendant earrings.

Princess Benedikte joined her nephew and wore some of her best pieces - the Berleburg fringe tiara from her husband's family, dimaond stars from her great-grandmother Victoria of Sweden and a small riviere, which was a present from her own father.

Regarding Danish royals, I'm not a fan of Queen Mary's engagement ring; she upgraded it by adding two side diamonds, but I still don't like it...

i dont normally pay attention to the clothes but i love Queen Mary's dress -its very similar to my 1988 formal (prom) dress but of course tiaras were not 'in' that year :lol-2:
