Sapphire is my birthstone and I get so overwhelmed looking for a good one... about one carat, color is my most important feature-- ceylon or royal. I'm not fussy about inclusions, etc. I wanted to spend less than $1,300 on the stone-- is that reasonable?
 
I'm looking at finewater gems... may up size and budget
 
I am looking for a sapphire, too. Are you looking for untreated sapphire?

Heat/no heat doesn't matter to me. I'm all about the color.

Thanks, everyone. I'm going to take my time and look over the next month to be sure I know what I want. At this point, I'm pretty sure I want cornflower or even blue/green.... (I found one that I don't want to link that is mostly cornflower but with some green tones)...

Well, I see I missed the Black Friday, cyber Monday and Star Wars sales, uugh.

Here is hoping he has a Last minute Christmas, end of the year or it's january sale lol. (The 1900 one)

I like the second one! For blue stones I always like the ones with violet undertones! So maybe you need to figure out if there is a pattern to the stones you really like? Such as "cornflower blue," or "violet undertones."

It will very likely be set by CVB Inspired Design (caysie did my ER reset) but I will have to save up my pennies again before I send it off to her!
