Laila, where did you get that soleste-esque? Was it Blue Nile? I think I remember that. I plan on doing one with a cushion sometime real soon! I was going to do it this month but we just bought a new car, so my plan is on hold.

Yes, Blue Nile, the Duet halo. I think it's a great replica. They have a cushion-shaped one too. I wanted to buy something I could return if I had to, so I did not want to go custom.

Laila, I just looked up your thread on this ring! I love it! You know I never considered using a round in a double cushion halo but the pics that Blue Nile posted are really good and I really like the look! The price on the setting in Plat is only $2500. Definitely the cheapest price I've seen on this setting. Did you use a coupon code or anything when you purchased? Now I'm scheming....

I hate to keep posting my oval, but it's definitely a one of a kind stone I never would have found without PS! A close second is my oec 3 stone....I got a pretty amazing deal on the suite of stones and a lovely PSer let me copy her ring design so that I could have my dream 3 stone (though every once in a while, I wish the center stone were larger....) As I know photos are everything.... :cheeky:

That oval is absolutely amazing Yenny! You had quite the journey pre-PS and after PS so it is nice to hear you are loving your pieces!

Thanks lizzyann!

For me, it would definitely be my OEC pendant! Found it via an ebay link posted in a thread here. Then had it set in a bezel pendant at GOG. My graduation present to myself ;)

How can I choose one? I've obviously become a colored stone-aholic since finding PS.

My 2 carat rbc in a victor canera emilya halo...

I think I'm most fond of my VC French cut band. (that I am shamelessly posting all over this board.) I must just be a band person because my runner up would be the SS RG OEC band purchased from a PSer.

Boring, but I am in love with my palladium wedding band from e-weddingbands. It is the 3.5mm European low dome, comfort fit. My original wedding band is a 2 mm, flat ring that is uncomfortable to wear. Now I am saving up to buy some sparkly bands to wear with it.

I wouldn't have found my dream setting by Victor Canera for my old OEC without PS

I bought 3 things since finding PS 7 years ago - eternity, studs and MRB. No way I would have ended up with quality and prices without going to PS vendors. Quick shot of 2 out of 3.

Thanks junebug17 :wavey:

Soxfan and Acinom, I am in awe! Just gorgeous!

Well, I have made some great purchases since joining PriceScope, and I am extremely thankful to have pieces that will be handed down as heirlooms. But the thing that brought me here was the search for a new e-ring for an anniversary, and that diamond evolved into the diamond ring I wear today...a 2.29 AVR from Good Old Gold. Never would I have this diamond had it not been for PS and Jon at GOG!

This is one of the most beautiful photos of an AVR I've seen!!

Thanks to PS, I have learned so much about old cuts. And because of that, I never would have found my dream OEC, 1.64 ct. GIA J/VS1 in a Verragio setting.

I'm usually not a fan of Verragio settings, but OHMYGAWD at the profile on your ring!!! It looks like it was made for your stone -- Stunning! :appl:

Thank you msop04! =) Now, I think it will take me a long time to find the right eternity ring that will look good with it!

Absolutely stunning Yennyfire!

My 15 year upgrade. I rather like the carre cut band too. ;)

I can totally see the difference in the color of the stones too.

Thank you Sandy. Your lovely comment comes at the perfect time as I have been agonizing over a reset. Maybe this is a sign. :). And admittedly it is a wonderful distraction from the craziness of tax season. A couple of seconds of sparkle get me through a rough day.

Without a doubt my replacement engagement ring (lost my 1.61 carat round before I started working for Wink). It took waiting a few years for the perfect-for-me stone to come along, and it was worth the wait! I wanted something between .65ct and a 3/4 carat, and no whiter than an H (warm stone lover here), and it had to be an ideal cut. After years of drooling over the Infinity diamonds at work (and 8 years after losing my diamond) I finally broke down and bought one.

I love my ering stone, which is an ex/ex cushion - I wouldn't have known what to look for without PS.

But the "culmination" of any savvy I acquired on PS is definitely my 3 stone ring. I still adore it - it's perfect and looks great on my finger with the bands I got from ebay. A lot of PSers really helped me on that project, without a doubt.

The other purchase I absolutely adore - more than I thought I would - is another 23rd street design: my 20K gold and platinum leverback earrings reset. I wear the heck out of these earrings and haven't bought any diamond earrings since because I haven't found I pair I'd rather wear more.
