CMW,
Beautiful gem, as usual. Trade ya.

CMW,

That sure is a beautiful stone, love the color. In fact, I LOVE your whole collection of gems!!!!!

Linda

CMW - that spinel is lovely!

MP...it''s complicated. I''ll think about starting my own thread on it...

Dangit ladies, you guys are tempting me to add to my collection again! Well, ok, this would be the first time "adding" instead of "founding". Currently it''s just my 3 ct. amethyst. But soon it''ll include a topaz or two, and then I want a peridot. And maybe a pair of amethyst pears for earrings.

Thank you for the kind words.

From what I see everyone has some really nice stones.

Harriet i''m all ears.

Innerkitten here are my green and blue tourmalines.

Innerkitten that is also a tourmaline. I bought it last year in Cozumel. I have not sent it to lab for any kind of report but my gemologist friend assured me it is a tourmaline. It was sold to me as a paraiba from Brazil. The picture does not show its neon color as seen when viewing in person.

CMW, I''m waiting ...

Ummmmmmmm, I''m speechless

That's a first.

Did some one say Hawaiian sunset. While not a corundum this spinel captures the essence of a padparadscha color quite nicely. IMO
i am wiping drool off my keyboard as I speak (type)..

Those tourmalines are to die for!!!! Can I have that mint green one, hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?????

Wow! I have to ask, how do you guys get such great pictures?
Innerkiten, beatiful stones, especially the sapphires and spinels.

Freke your pics are so beautiful!

Color my world I was going to ask you about what I would call the "minty" tourmaline I see that it is pariaba. That would be really nice to get one of those...

Love in bloom, again just beautiful pics. I also am in love with all the colors of garnet.

I''m going to post some pics. The stones are pretty but the pics are not

First up is some beads, turquoise, also varisite and green turquoise, carnelian, and labradorite.

Lower row left to right is amethyst, greenish blue aquamarine, white topaz, and "silver" topaz (light gray/blue)

Second row 2 pink sapphires (about 5 mm each) I believe both from madagascar, and light blue sapphire that to me has a touch of lavender in it. It actually is very brillant, but can''t see from pic.

Last row is a series of indicolite tourmalines from bluish to greenish.

this includes set stones

lowest row left to right is .80 color change garnet, rhodolite garnet (2.9 carats?), 2 Australian sapphires set in martinis, and demantoid (Namibian) garnet semi bezel set in necklace

ruby ring from grandmother, rubellite tourmaline ring, emerald ring
