There is just something about sapphire blue that grabs my heart every time. Sapphires are my very favorite gemstone and I love every one that's in this thread.

It was a lovely September weekend and I was able to get a couple good shots of my ring.

September is almost coming to a close, but..... I'm picking up yet another sapphire band from my jeweler tomorrow. I really didn't need it (who does), but he said name a price and I did - so....., I guess I had to follow through!

Here's my sapphire and diamond in yellow gold that is probably about 25 years old. It's quite a dark sapphire and I rarely wear it because I prefer white gold or platinum. I've thought of having it rhodium dipped, but not sure I want to do that!

Loving this thread, Sapphires are my favourites...maybe after/along with Diamonds!
Here’s my Sapphire and Diamond ring, a wonderful present from my husband a few years ago. I’ve had it assessed since I last posted it and it is an original ring. I can’t remember exactly what they said, but it’s about 100years old now. (Couldn’t find my photos of it, so had to re use the ones from my original thread, apologies if they look rough). .
