another...sorry the pics arent wonderful, I'm hoping to get a decent digital camera for xmas ; )

Here''s our tree...its covered in ornaments that have been collected since before I was born...including the obligatory ones that we made when we were in preschool and stuff like that that parents can''t throw out. From this angle you can also see the section of the tree that surprisingly hasn''t been turned to the back yet where I stick the ugly things just to bother my mom

Like that LARGE pink ball of fluff, there is also a green one, red one and a potato ornament (aka big brown sparkly blob hehee). I guess our angel hasn''t made it to the top yet...we''ve been pretty lazy this year. And we do white lights.

Normally we also have a tree full of snowman ornaments up in the living room and a tree with the colors of our dining room up...but we''re in the midst of some horribly timed redecorating so there hasn''t been any time to get those up yet. Still a week left, so you never know

(and yes, 3 trees...but we host Xmas dinner so our house is usually quite decorated. This year it is pretty toned down).

This is how we had the family room mantle decorated this year...the loft decorations across the room echo this. And the wreath came in on the small side this year...but whatever.

And then living room, foyer and dining room windows are done up in differnet swags. This is one of the windows in the foyer...We had them try some assymetrical stuff this year...an attempt to be adventurous. The ornaments hanging down are much more noticeable in person. It has cute little white rice lights in it for the evenings.

Miss Lil where is your tree picture??
I just took some yesterday. I have not had a chance to pull them off the camera and see if any of them turned out decent enough to share.

OFG, Lisa, John, Mara....thanks so much for your nice thoughts! I''m pretty happy with how it''s coming along.

If you''d pass along a glass of that egg-nog, I''m sure it will get even a bit more creative! LOL

Mara, guest room is booked for you any time you want it.

Happy Holidays!! I finally got to take a picture of my humble "Christmas Corner." I live on my own in a teeny studio apartment, but that doesn''t mean it can''t be festive!!

I''m sooooo impressed by all the beautiful holiday decorations posted here!!

Wow.. everyone''s trees look so wonderful. I was thinking about posting pics of mine.. but you can see the mess that the kids leave around it.. I.e. shoes, slippers, books, bookbags, jackets.... I would love to say it is because I am lazy and never put them away... But I do.. but they somehow find their way back again...hmmm

Thats what cropping is for Mine!!!

njc, I love the garland going up your staircase and loved seeing the music boxes you''ve collected since you were little. How fun!!

I just love seeing everyones trees and decorations...everyones are so fun and an each has its own little spin on things.

Hi everyone! Oh it's been too long since I've posted here. I miss it!
39.gif
I really wish I could get on more, but life has been hectic. I've been so busy with school and we just bought a house and are trying to pack and move, all during the holidays. So stressful! But I thought I'd drop in and share our tree and wish everyone a happy holiday season!
