Somehow I missed this thread. Here''s my dress! It''s too big for me and clamped on, so it obviously doesn''t fit right.

I was able to try MY dress on over Christmas and I love it on, but I keep second guessing it (not unlike some of the other BIWs), especially when I see it in pictures.

I always think the same thing whenever I look at this thread full of beautiful gowns. In hindsight, my wedding gown was so blah. But you know DF, there are other occasions for formal gowns: vow renewals, New Year''s Eve at a swanky hotel, symphony/ballet/opera openings.

I love gowns with sleeves. European princesses seem to favor this style for their weddings and I''ve always thought it looked SO elegant and ethereal!

before i got engaged i thought i wanted a big ball gown, but after i got engaged i think the big gowns weren't my stlye and i didn't want to look like most brides i see at weddings. i want to look non-traditional, no poofy dresses. elizabeth fillmore and vera wang embody my notions of what i bride should look like: ethereal, romantic, classy, sophisticated

i'm still looking for gowns and decided to hold off on bridesmaids dresses cause the wedding date changed, but i really want to try these...i'll let you know what i decide!
