Fun Thread! Can my BLUEBERRY come out to play?


2.04 ct unheated sapphire from Sri Lanka. Recut from a 2.8ct stone by Jeff White.


Custom setting by WhiteFlash, with 8 x ACA rounds of approx .80 ctw, and 2 x pears of approx .65 ctw. Setting in Platinum and yellow gold.

Hi Steph! thank you so much - it was a birthday gift from SO and my really great friend...i had originally put it on layaway and had been paying it off SLOWLY. They snuck in and payed it off for me and i was soooo excited to see it!

I found it at a little local antique/jewlery store near me... where it came from originally i have no idea. The store collects a lot of estate or trade in peices and someone had obviously sold this one and an alternating sapphire/diamond one exactly like it. I know they aren''t antiques, but are in the antique style and are 14K WG. (i wish i had more info)

Any chance of getting this stickied to the top of the forum? Sapphire is probably the most commonly admired colored stone.

Many of you know my love for vintage jewelry pieces. This is a vintage rose gold buttercup pendant that holds two small medium sapphires and three small omc diamonds. I love it! It is very delicate but distinctive.
