I do! I’m keeping her under wraps until she’s on my hand, but she’s going to be SOOO worth the wait! Counting the days and checking that she’s still in stock everyday- sometimes a couple times a day, lol … we aren’t a buy now pay later family, so I’m working a ton of extra shifts still and tucking every extra penny away and crossing all my fingers and toes she stays put, lol!… and as long as everything is good on the home front, come May 1, we should be good to go! We just celebrated our 20 year anniversary and I’ve never had more than just a wedding band, so it’s going to be a wonderful blessing if all the stars align… a dream, bucket list thing ❤️

Is there anyway the vendor would do a sort of layaway for you so that you make sure you don't lose it? I know May is pretty far off, but if the vendor has had it for a while, they may let you pay for it slowly. It's better for them to start getting the funds back into their account instead of waiting for someone to come along and pay all at once. Might be worth asking.

I sometimes see these on eBay in the 6k-8k range. I think 10k is high. There's not as much demand for these types of VCAs

Guys, I thought I would let you know that I am sending the stone back because it looks nothing like the color in the picture. The picture is the one above that I replied to. And this is what I got:

I honestly don’t know how GIA labeled this fancy yellow. To be fair, it was called fancy yellow brown, but given that the word yellow proceeded Brown in addition to the eBay picture, I expected it to look more yellow. This looks like a champagne diamond to me.

wow, your photo doesn't seem to have any yellow at all. Sorry that you are disappointed, but your stone is out there somewhere.

Those aren't the same settings - are you sure it's the same stone? Stone in the video appears more rounded, and in the listing more cushion shaped.

I wondered the same thing.

The dealer doesn’t usually carry solitaires of this size. I just went to the website and searched for 2.01 ct. Tbh, I didn’t do any further due diligence bc I’m not buying it (keeps repeating to self)…

ETA: I reached out to the dealer to confirm the specs. This IS a different ring. It’s a 7.8 mm J/SI1-so must be a tad deeper.

Oops-sorry-I was in a rush this morning so I didn’t dig deeper!
