G-H color designation seems accurate, possibly whiter for this diamond. Price seems good for what you are getting.

@Mreader and @Paisley2628 what % below asking did you offer that was accepted? I also liked that seller so I’m curious about this.

For me it was a bit less than 20% off (can't do the actual math rn haha) but I think it probably depends on the item. I have only purchased once from them so Paisley probably has a better answer - I also went directly to their website and communicated with them that way. I don't know if that meant more savings for them that could be passed along to me or not. EBay charges I believe about 9% to business sellers, but I think this seller used Shoppay on their site and idk what their fees are.

ETA - I believe @Lookinagain bought something from them (a five stone?) so maybe she can weigh in as well.

My purchases were from 20% - 30% off the list price. I also found they are very helpful in getting more information about an item.

I can also confirm a good experience with this seller. I bought an antique OMC 5-stone ring from his eBay store last December. I made an offer of 25% off list price and he came back with a 20% off counter-offer, which I accepted. At the time, there was also a 10% off coupon from eBay, which added an additional $80 off the purchase price.

Rose cut pear and Pearl antique Ring

Rose cut diamond platinum ring. 9mm diameter stone? Only listed as 0.88 carats. This one is pretty exciting as you can see it has French hallmarks on the outside of the shank. Possibly authentic antique diamond? H-I color seems plausible. LOVE THIS.

FYI THIS SOLD piece FOR COMPARISON MUCH LARGER but shows how a cleaned up antique rose cut can perform (this is a warmer stone). This setting is similar basket to the platinum ring posted above. Possibly made around same time frame!

Regarding the rose cut ring, I do think it’s possibly over priced for an HI consigned 0.88 rose cut. If authentic, maybe worth the price. In no way is this ring $14,000 retail.

Thinking about this further, TRR price could be slightly high for the Toi et Moi (this type of piece). I think it’s because of the very white diamond. Which could be new to the piece. Cut is a little hard to gauge.

I want someone to buy this. I think the asking price is fair at 3400 for two .75ct diamonds and a pretty two tone mounting. And we knew the seller accepts offers 20% below asking. $2800 is a good value.

I've been watching that as well. I just have no idea why I would need another ring......

Where and what photo do you see the hallmark on the rose cut? I can't see past the grime on the ring! :-)

Wow, two hallmarks! i thought it was a dent at first glance...but I see it now.

Can someone please buy the ring so we can see if it's really .88 ctw or 9mm, or both?!

I thought a stamp saying 99 meant 24k gold, but vendor has this listed as 22k. Any insights?

As a note for anyone eyeing anything from TRR, today is one of the "spend a bunch, get a short-term use store credit" days. I would like applause from everyone for not buying anything.

I noticed this ring is back in stock. Below are a couple of photos TRR sent me before it sold the 1st time.

It was over my budget but since I’m constantly blowing my budget I requested photos of it anyway. I have since purchased another ring. I have 2-3 more pics if anyone wants them, I’m happy to post.
