Just received a small pen black light and of course, I have to play around with it!

in normal light




see how red it glows..... (next to a tester stone which came with the black light)

It appears that the Mahenge fluorescences pink which is a really neat thing. Hmmm….something tells me that you are keeping both.

Mmmmm, thanks for the pics! I love the colour of the spinel (at least on my monitor), but I think the Tsav is the nicer stone. The Tsav is also a great colour (I like a yellow mod!) and the clarity is better and, well, it''s bigger (you mentioned that you wanted larger stones). Good luck on your decision, they are BOTH pretty!

Sweet!!!!! Yes, that hot red glow is what gives it extra kick in the sunlight. Awesome stone!!!

If you do return it, is it going to be a hassle to return it to Africa? Or does Eric have an American office you can return it to. Truth be told, I love what I see frm SGT, but I''m afraid to order because if I need to return something, I''m not sure how I''m going to do that. I feel really scared returning anything to Tanzania.

Eric told me if I should want to return it, I could return it to his europe office. I suppose Europe is no problem for you too???

That’s right; I recall your mentioning it previously. It’s great that you have an option of returning anything to his Europe office. It is much safer than trying to ship anything back to Africa.
