I know its so hard to decide ! im starting to like the second one more but I think it would look better with the train of the first! I tried on my dress 2x once just becuase it was there and the second for my FMIL and she took pics of me in it after seeing the pics I went back bought it an hour later lol it was the second dress I tried on funny thing is it was exactly what I wasnt looking for haha but I just love it!
I completely agree with Mara. You have a great figure and those dresses didn''t show it off as much as possible. Would you consider something strapless or with straps (not sleeves) of some sort, and then a wrap if it is cold? Like maybe a pashmina type or some dresses come with a matching wrap!Date: 9/13/2006 1:13:13 AM

sunkist you are just the cutest, tiniest thing!!!
i have to say i don''t like the sleeves on any of those dresses...i don''t know why but they just don''t seem to add anything positive to the look of the gowns. i think they make them look really ''old fashioned'' like vintage kind of 1920'' wedding. i am not sure if that is what you are going for but they just seem really conservative to me.
if you are thinking something that is not strapless or more fallish, what about lace capped sleeves or something more delicate feeling? all that white material on the arms just visually was not appealing at all to me.
in terms of the dresses, i loved the sash and train back on the third dress. the first was my least favorite in general, way too puritan looking. the 2nd was pretty with beading.
in general i just feel like none of the dresses really flatter YOU and your exquisite tiny figure and doll face. i''d love to see something romantic on you with a little lace maybe around the neckline and/or sleeves. just a thought!

I agree with Mara that the dresses are on the conservative sides and lace cap sleeves would be a great alternative. Out of the three dresses, I like dress #2 the most. Dress #2 is bustled up in the picture right? At least it seems like it was. I don''t like the v-neck because it''s cut too high, but it is lovely from the back (I don''t know why but the back view remains me of a modified qipao where the fitted bottom is made into an A-line skirt). I totally hate the sleeves on dress #3.
If you are worried about being cold in November, you can also look into a pretty shawl or capelet to keep you warm.

Sunkist, are you only looking for a shealth/mermaid skirt??
I got married in june in berkenstocks and shorts but I *wanted* to have a january wedding with white velvet in a v that went to my shoulders with 3/4 length sleeves. Now that would be too hot for sure, but a wide V could possibly be considered modest as long as it didn''t go past your shoulders and didn''t show any cleavage heheDate: 9/13/2006 1:49:24 AM

Ya, Qtiekiki, dress #2 is bustle in the pic. You''re rightIt''s not that I''m worried about being cold in November. I need sleeves for modesty and religious reasons. Also, I''m interested in finding 3/4 length sleeves becuase even though I do live in SoCal and it will probably be warm, short sleeves look kind of summery to me. Do they to you? In the end though, I really wouldn''t be against having short sleeves in the fall.

this is what i am thinking re: cap sleeves..i just love these!!!! they are SO beautiful! my girlfriend tried this dress on and loved it.
why would you have to have the sleeves lined? i would much rather do a capelet or a wrap or something made to accent the dress than get an actual dress with sleeves. but that''s just me...i find that most times sleeves are not that flattering in general to the arms, even on things like tshirts.
ETA i see you added why you need sleeves. what about actual 1/2 arm lace sleeves, longer than the cap style? would that be enough modesty? can you not show any skin??

this is kind of pretty but i would end up widening the neckline to compensate for the arm coverage. can you get away with a little more chest visual as long as there''s no cleavage? i think if you widened up some of these gowns in the neck area the arms wouldn''t stand out as much maybe?
