What nationality are you guys? did you have an orthodox wedding? I am greek and we had a greek orthodox wedding- many similarities- we wear the crowns, although our have a string connecting them, and the priest does the changing of the rings....etc.

anyways, just curious and would love to see more pics- the cake looked yummy! Who was the designer of your dress?

I agree with Surfgirl...that image of you is so magazine perfect. OK, it is not the image itself, it is your beauty! The twinkle in your eye and emotion of pride. It really is a great! And you are a beauty! The other one of your profile confirms how pretty you are!

Love the color choice and your dress the lace is really beautiful! Oh I also love that mirror shot. Tell us the story of the sixpence and the glass shoe. Did you do that? The rose petals are just right. The tables looked perfect. And your bouquet and the bm''s with the shimmer really are beyond ordinary.

The sixpence and glass shoe was my dad''s idea - I guess it''s an irish or scottish thing (he''s scottish) and he really liked the idea of having it up at the wedding because it''s traditional and a really nice saying. I guess a long time ago brides used to put a sixpence in thier shoes for good luck. I didn''t have one though because I was wearing strappy shoes, so it wouldn''t have stayed, but I was thinking about doing it.

I can''t beleive that I''ve been on pricescope for I think almost 2 and a half years now! I''m so greatful to have had you guys the whole way through planning, I think that knowing so many people who were going through the same thing as we were, or who had gone through it, made me realize that we weren''t reinventing hte wheel here and allowed me to really approach wedding planning with minimal stress. There were only a few stressful moments (dress issues haha and maybe MIL things), so I really think PS helped me to get through the process without going crazy or bridezilla on anyone

Thank you sophie! We actually had a melkite catholic wedding (byzantine) so very similar with the traditions! My dress was by casablanca, I beleive it was 1827.

Hi Zoe! Thank you so much, the cake was super yummy! It was ivory colored with red ribbon, but it may be because that pic was taken to reflect candlelight that it looks reddish orange.

Things are going really well now, and I''m SO glad to be back from training. Living in a hotel for a month is really a long long time and not so fun, although I did meet a lot of really great people from all over the country there, but after 2 weeks I was totally ready to come back home and be with my hubby, but had to wait out the whole month. I did make it into the city and got to see the big tree at rockefellar center and all that touristy stuff : )

I have my 2nd day out in the field tomorrow, but likely will not get too much done since a lot of drs will be on vacation, but I''ll do as much as I can then get back to organizing my trunk and administrative stuff.
