Tension setting on an Octavia. what do you guys think?

Did you order the setting from Bruce and then send it to Jon for mounting or did Jon send the stone to Bruce for mounting?

I do believe that Bruce will have to mount it, that is what I would do anyway,

DF, my ring is not Titanium.
My SO's ring is Titanium, and it has darkened over the years, but perhaps polishing it would brighten it up.
Mine is Cobalt Chrome which Bruce recommended when I told him I wanted the whitest metal he had.
It adds $100 to the price over Titanium.

The left ring is Titanium and the right ring is Cobalt Chrome.

Sounds like a great project! Can't wait to see pictures!

I would gladly share some of the rough if a 0.5-carat kite could be cut from it. I am re-setting my pear necklace and 2 vendors have told me the diamond-shaped diamond I would like is a tall order.

BUT, I'm picky about color. G is my minimum.

I agree, I think that's a great idea plus Kenny is a FANTASTIC photographer so DF wouldn't be able to wiggle his way out of taking pictures for us!

My American BF, you KNOW you can't mention things like that here involving a stunning Octavia set in a ring for your good self and not expect us to be clamouring for pics. PS - get a manicure before the hand shots if you are still gnawing on your cuticles.
