Hi Ladies! I just wanted to poke my head in and once again thank everyone for all of the advice and encouragement. It''s been awhile since I posted in LIW.

I''m actually sitting on my couch recovering...had my wisdom teeth removed today. I''m in a lot of pain...and I''m STARVING since it seems all I can really eat is apple sauce, pudding, and water ice...not much protein I guess.

Has anyone else gone through wisdom teeth removal? I''d love some suggestions on soft foods that I can eat!

The oral surgeon said he thinks I''m going to have a really tough recovery (I was too drugged up to ask a lot of questions) but he said Friday will probably be my worst day and it''ll be a really tough weekend. He seems to think I might develop dry socket...said they''ll definitely take care of me on Monday if that does happen.

It is kind of strange though...the procedure was at 8:45 this morning and it is now almost 8 and I''m still numb on my right side, is that normal? Thought it would have worn off by now. My right side definitely is much more painful than my left too.

Oh well, I''m just relaxing and catching up on my DVR and movies...any good movie suggestions?

Thanks again for always being so supportive...even if it is sometimes hard to hear!

Yes. And I just had a root canal (another one!) so I'm in the same soft-foods boat as you for another week or so until I get the crown put on.

Here's what I've been eating this week:

- squash (steamed or baked and mashed up, with whatever seasoning you like -- sometimes I do brown sugar and cinnamon, and other times I do garlic powder and salt/pepper)
- applesauce
- mac n' cheese, with the mac being a little bit overcooked/soggy so I don't have to chew at all
- mashed potatoes/garlic mashed potatoes
- pureed fruit (strawberries, pineapples, honeydew, cantaloupe) since I can't do smoothies because they're too cold and my tooth is way sensitive...eat with a spoon, not a straw, because nobody wants a dry socket
- cold soups (and by cold, I mean room temp)
- super steamed veggies, like asparagus and zucchini -- steam them until they're so soft that you don't have to chew them

morning ladies! good news from the doc, my foot is feeling fine, and i should be back in high heels in july!! i know i seems long, but i hve a 2 1/2 week vaca at the end of june also i get to start working out, which leads me to this...

... i signed up for weight watchers. i have gained waaaay to much weight in the last 3 years so time to fix that!!

PIP: Good luck with the wisdom teeth! I got mine pulled last March and I ate only jello and boxed mashed sweet potatoes for 3 days. Yum!

Jcar - Good Morning! Glad your foot is feeling better. Good luck with Weight Watchers. I should really join too... I''m getting lazy. I did sign up for a cardio pilates and a cardio kick-mix class though. I''m trying!

OK, so I got the strangest phone message yesterday.

Backstory: about 2 years ago, I got asked to be on Beauty and the Geek as a female geek for sort of a twist on the show. I turned it down for a variety of reasons (mainly because I hadn''t been dating Kris that long and didn''t want to be sequestered for 6 weeks and also I wasn''t sure if I wanted to play along and act like I wanted to change when I was really pretty happy the way I was).

Anyhow, so I got a phone message from the production company (same one that does the biggest loser & some other shows) saying that they are casting a new show and have my name on file (with a lot of stars next to it, apparently, which means someone there really liked me) and want me to come in and audition. Here''s the weird part: I don''t live in Los Angeles anymore, but I am coincidentally going to be there this weekend so I actually could go in and audition. What do you guys think? I''m thinking it''s too big of a coincidence not to at least stop by...it''s just random.

OK, guys, got a little more information on the show. It's apparently a pilot for a show that would pit smart and funny girls against the typical bimbo. They want smart, kind of geeky girls who are happy the way they are. Since it's for a pilot that would just be shot over a weekend, I'm going for it. It'd be fun!
