This is my new engagement ring, i upgraded from a .75ct RB. we got it of ebay for an amazing price ($1800!) i feel soooo lucky to have such a stunning diamond as with our budget i never thought we would get anything near this. i spend all day looking at it!!! it does have a small carbon spot on the side which you can only see when i take it off and look closely but apart from that its clear fiery and bright. also when i take it off and look from the side it shows a bit of color but when its on it looks bright white, could this be due to blue flouresence?
my jeweler said the center is a victorian diamond from Hong Kong in a modern setting.

Here's the backstory on my quest: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-visit-with-doron-isaak.157117/
And now she's here. It's crazy how beautiful it is. The pictures don't even do it half justice. It's gonna take some getting used to, but I love it. LOVE IT! Doron is awesome. He basically treated me like a princess the entire time.

I don't have the full specs here, but the center stone is a Canadian round 1.01, G, SI1, GIA triple ex., surrounded by six 0.1 carat, G, VS1 "conflict free" princess cuts to create a "snowflake" design. The split-shank is recycled platinum and is home to two surprise birthstones at the bottom of the "v" on each side (outside) - a blue sapphire and an alexandrite.

Thank you Pricescope for all the wonderful resources and knowledgeable contributors. I have learned a lot over the past year reading thru old and new threads alike.
I first contacted BGD in early January after seeing all the positive feedback on the new Blues. I emailed Jamie with what I was looking for, and Brian was able to find a few stones that fit my requirements during one of his factory visits. I made my purchase in early February and here are the results. The entire process was smooth and prompt.

Hi ladies! I'm officially engaged!
The center stone is a cushion brilliant, 1.3 carats, E color, VVS2. It's bezel set and surrounded by alternating, french cut diamonds and sapphires--8 of each. The shank is adorned with 4 clusters of diamonds and sapphires on each side, 8 in total. (He chose to have many of the elements appear in 8s because he is American-born Chinese, and the number 8 is a lucky number).
Not sure if this has been posted before- but just saw this and LOVE IT!

Okay so. IT IS STUPENDOUS!
The pave is as perfect as any Leon or Durnell I've seen (and I've seen a lot of Leon pave). The halo is just... perfect. I adore the 1/2 pointers so much more than I did the one pointers. The effect is just a delicate gorgeous frame that totally makes my asscher the star. The profile is different but I like it even MORE now-- especially the way Steven set my center stone!
And the rest of the ring (Steven slimmed down the shank .2 mm to 2mm and lowered the head by 2mm and slimmed down the prongs) just... it works. I am so glad I kept my original shank. And I am so glad that Steven was able to work with some of my existing parts.
All the small individual changes add up to a huge difference in the whole ring. I would not hesitate to use Steven again. Especially for pave. The pave is incredible. TRULY incredible. His website, fyi, is www.timelessluxury.net

OKAY! we have the rings! 8mm white gold. He has a little blue sapphire, I have a pink one.
I LOVE them!!!!!! I love how it looks on me and it is extremely comfortable. I have slept in it, worked out in it, cooked, cleaned, showered, and been hot and swelly in it. No problems. None whatsoever. Also it may be hard to tell in the photos, but my diamond actually looks a lot bigger with the band. At least in person. I hear sleeves and straps are coming back in style for wedding dresses, why not big wedding bands?
I also LOVE how we match, and that we designed them. It gives the rings sooo much sentiment. We can't wait to wear them everyday.
Just received my marquise solitaire platinum ring. Usually I'm not a big fan of marquise, but there is something different about this setting that seems to compliment the stone that I simply can't resist. I am planning to wear it as a right hand ring.
