Sunnyd, I''m not sure I said it, but I''m glad your FFIL is doing better.

Good morning, everybody! The raving PMS monster has struck and I''ve honestly eaten everything in sight lately. In the last two days: 2 slices of birthday cake, 2 pints of ice cream (well, 1 froyo and 1 sorbet, so not AWFUL), a bag of Skittles....oh, it''s bad. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. And I have teeny pre-cramps, but no . yet. It''s driving me nuts. It just needs to start so that I can get past this.

Also, BF and I are going to his parents'' house next Friday for 4 days. We get to visit people, help his Grammy pack up, and celebrate his sister''s birthday (

). I''m not exactly her biggest fan. Anyways, we also get to meet his sister''s boyfriend! I have to admit, this guy holds a certain amount of mystery for me. I don''t know what this girl is like (let''s call her A) when she''s not around family, but when she''s around family (especially BF) she''s...well, rude is the polite word, I think. Demanding, spoiled, entitled @*#&$ is probably more accurate. BF thinks she''s probably super nice to other people, though. So I''m interested to see a) what she''ll be like when she''s trying to impress her BF but is still around family (no doubt if anything goes wrong she''ll talk s*** about her brother and how it''s his fault) and b) if this super sweet side of A comes out. Oh, and c) what the heck kind of guy she''s interested in. Should be VERY interesting.

Oh, I will totally report back! I''m so curious about this guy. Plus I think they maybe date long distance, so that could explain it, I guess. I don''t know. I''m sure she felt the same way about me, though (she thinks BF is pretty terrible, so I bet she wondered who the heck could like him enough to meet the family).

HAHAHAHAHA so true.

Just got off of the phone with BF. I was joking around with a "So, make sure you behave," that was 95% percent joking and 5% relating to bringing a guy you really like home for the first time and BF got all defensive (I guess the joking part was hard to hear, and all he got was something that sounded like a lecture). But he said, "Honey, she''s not a @#*$& for the first time in the 20 years I''ve known her. I''m not going to be a doosh. If she''s less of a @#*$, I like him already." So I''m thinking this will be interesting.

Today is my 2 year work anniversary. Happy Anniversary to me.

I''m supposed to get my review, however merit pay increases are frozen right now due to the economy, so I''m not getting the raise I''ve been waiting all year for.

At least I have a job.. right?

FF''s 2 year old laptop just blew a video card.. and the replacement for the piece is 400 dollars... plus labor and blahblahblah.

So likely 600 dollars to fix it. Is it even worth it? I''m wondering if we should just get a new one. But... it''ll likely be 1500 for a new one.
