We have a latin grocery store like 1/4 mile from my apartment. now I want to go buy one!

No fun plans for this weekend yet! We may have a *nice* dinner this weekend. We want to re-do our wedding dinner since neither of us ate!

Are you excited for your birthday tomorrow!? The big 2-8!!!
36.gif
eh...I am more excited about going to the theatre and dinner! lol

I was never big on birthdays. I get more into them now because FI''s family always made a HUGE deal out of birthdays. I like quiet birthdays, you know? Dinner, movies...

I am the type that would HATE a surprise birthday party.

VC: I think it''s so cool that you play V-Ball! I''m not that coordinated but people always thought I''d be good at it because I''m so tall
9.gif
Oh... so my big plans to fly to NY tomorrow and surprise you won''t work?
39.gif
man, now what am i going to do with all these balloons
awwww you girls are so sweet!

3.gif

Howdy!
35.gif

Elle--part of it may be genetics, but I also eat normal portion sizes. He''s working on working out. With the new year we''ve started going for a walk every day after dinner. It''s not super athletic, but it''s better than nothing. We also are going for hikes every weekend.

PP--He refuses to accept that bread is the problem. He doesn''t do sliced white bread, it''s Italian or French Bread usually, but still. He will go through almost a full loaf in one sitting. I''ve tried telling him that carbs make you gain weight more than actual fat does, but I don''t think it has sunk in.
An entire loaf in one sitting!!!!????
6.gif
6.gif
OMG, that''s even worse than a bunch of sliced bread. A loaf probably has around 1,000 calories total. Holy smokes! I''d just throw away his bread stach
2.gif
But, yeah, that much bread will pack on the pounds.

FI is like that with oreos. He literally eats 1/2 of the package in one sitting. It''s disgusting that he can eat so much at once, lol!
I can eat that much.

I HAVE eaten an entire package of Oreos in one sitting.

I have no idea how I do not weigh 300 pounds.
Be scared, it will catch up w/ you.

well if you want the G2G to be in indiana on memorial weekend
3.gif

but erm i have a feeling i''m going to be occupied and not getting out too much for a few days

I had a very healthy lunch. Lentil soup (laxative anyone?), 10 crackers w/ laughing cow, and a big handful of crisp, clean romaine lettuce. Oh, and a piece of grilled chicken leftover from yesterday.

I didn''t at first either. Now I love whole grain. Sometimes it''s just a matter of getting used to things. I used to HATE (HAAAAAAAATE!) brown rice. Now I like it. Not as much as fluffy long-grain white rice, but it does the trick and it''s better for me. You save the unhealthier choices for free days or special occasions.

When does that happen?

I''m not skinny - but definitely not as big as I *should* be.

Elle, you''re also tall so you can get away with it more than shortypants over there.

I definitely am going to talk to K about his carb addiction. I think that will help more than anything else.
Can you get him to agree to salad BEFORE bread?

Something like for every slice of bread he eats, he has to eat 2 cups of salad first. (salad = mixed greens + veggies + small amount of healthy dressing)

He''d fill up on greens before he could eat any bread. Or at least get so sick of salad that he doesn''t want the bread.

I had a very healthy lunch. Lentil soup (laxative anyone?), 10 crackers w/ laughing cow, and a big handful of crisp, clean romaine lettuce. Oh, and a piece of grilled chicken leftover from yesterday.

No pooping at work or Wino will lecture you!!

Or she''ll show up and poop at your house!

That''s our saving grace Elle. We''d probably be rolly-polly otherwise.

I hear that! The girls look flattering on me because I''m tall, but if I was short they would be a little overpowering.

Your body is fantastic LP. I''d KILL to get what you have!

Psh--lies! You are one hot married lady. I bet you''d get like a hundred skeezy pictures if you went on that site fiery posted about in hangout.

He doesn''t think it tastes as good.

Seriously, good artisan white bread is his kryptonite.
I think whole grain/wheats/seeded breads taste SO much better than white. My addiction is the seeduction from WF. Never, ever buy it, lol. It''s so delicious, it''s dangerous!!!!!!!
