Yeah...it''s been a crazy week! First, I went to a school on Monday and it was eerily quiet. When I asked the secretaries what was going on, well heck, it was a PD day - BOARD WIDE!!! I didn''t even have to get out of bed Monday morning but I had no clue it was a PD day so I showed up to the school looking like an idiot.

Then, my sister broke up with her BF of 5.5 years and stayed with us Tuesday night. My parents keep asking me for the details because they can''t put the clues together to figure it out themselves. My sis and her BF have a house together so they''ve got lots of crap to sort out.

Today my FI found out that he got a 24.5% raise!!!! Seriously!?!?!? I didn''t think those kinds of raises existed in the real world. We''re ecstatic. Except...he got mad at me and hung up on me because we''re going to a cottage this weekend (it''s a long weekend here) and I want to leave saturday morning instead of tomorrow night. Meh. I will end up winning.

Sorry this week has sucked, ladies...but on a good note, sammyj''s and princesss'' (and one other person but I totally forget who) birthdays are in ONE WEEK!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I am going home in 12 minutes to eat baked goods and clean my house. I hate cleaning, but I firmly believe that environment = mood. Messy house, messy head. My e-mail is as cleaned out as it''s going to get today, so now I just have to conquer the house. (It''ll take a few weeks, but I can get started tonight.)

Good call, princesss. We just did a major house cleaning a few days ago. Totally spontaneously, too--I guess we were both secretly fed up with the floors not being swept.

So...today is a fabulous day. (Not saying that to rub it in people''s faces, just letting you know that today isn''t half bad in my neck of the woods.)

Started out kind of crummy. Got caught up reading some RT threads until 2am, and then had to wake up at 8am to study for my math final that started at 10. So then I took my math final and waited around for FI to finish giving his exam. And THEN we celebrated that I finished my last math class EVER, AND it''s the end of the semester and we jumped around a little bit.

Then I went to lunch with one of my friends at a Thai restaurant, had fun talking about stuff and eating really great food and drinking yummy Thai iced tea.

Came home, chillaxed, and then....

Tonight--Nine Inch Nails and Jane''s Addiction concert. I''m pumped.

I went to Target and spent $100. I got some picture frames, cleaning supplies, toilet paper....important stuff. I went for trash bags so that I can clean up.

I forgot trash bags. There is now MORE crap in my house and no trash bags to put it in.

good morning! notice what time it is? NOT 4 AM

I used my free pass this morning and slept in till 5:30, and it was glorious. AND its jean friday. AND i forgot my wallet at home, and i dont even care. TODAY IS GREAT! AND today i will be buying patron. so even if it goes downhill, i wont even know!!!

Well...we were going to plan to go to the farmer's market tomorrow morning after we had some breakfast at my favorite diner (I love Saturdays...with my cup of coffee ::sigh::

) BUT it's supposed to rain all weekend

Figures right? The Saturday I have off is the weekend we get overcasty, humid weather--my least favorite. BUT, I'm not complaining.

Later in the day we are going to FI's cousin's son's First Communion party (not the communion, thank God! [sorry God]). Where there will be plenty of food and drink (I hope

). FMIL gave us the guilt trip last night...she's not "forcing us to do anything BUT, don't be upset when cousins don't show up for your baby's celebrations." So...we're going. I actually don't mind, it's just the trip out to LI that's a pain in the ar$e.

Sunday is a free for all...yay! Maybe the movies? Anyone see Star Trek? I'm not a big fan but I HEARD it was good.
