Calling FREKE!

I'm sure you're probably still sleeping, but inquiring minds want to know: How was the NINJA concert last night?!! Specifically Jane's Addiction?

Bia-I've never been to a farmer's market.. they sounds so yummy though with all of the fruit.. There's one down the street from me but I never think about it! And lunch is a spinach salad with tomatoes and a hard-boiled egg.. plus some cheese or yogurt.

Elle-That's a crazy dream.. poor baby.. but I could so see a guy doing that!! My BF is scared to death of babies too.. all of my friends are having them right now so I keep trying to get him to hold one and he is soo scared. I finally got him to hold one of them once when he was on a couch surrounded by pillows so the baby couldn't go anywhere. He's super clumsy too, so that doesn't help!! Nothing is ticking here either, but puppies are great.

I'm going to more baseball games this weekend then I've been to in about three years.. Plus two concerts.. and a wedding shower.. and lunch with an old friend. I'm glad I'm not working for once

We have some greart farmer's markets here in NY. The one we go to is in Westchester Country and it is wonderful. They have an abundance of fruit but they also have fresh vegetables, great bread selections, jams, freshly made pies, beautiful wild flowers (which I can't buy because my allergies go nuts!
39.gif
), fresh all-natural/hormone free meat/poultry, and non-homogonized milk/yogurt and cheeses galore. It's all outside and it's just a nice afternoon. We bring the pup and she's usually a hit LOL.

Definitely check them out in your area. Plus, produce is much cheaper. At least it is here.
Bia, Westchester County? Where in NY are you?!?! I wonder if we're in the same county... or town/city. How awesome would that be?! Westchester is south of me...

And a side note: Silly and random but my sisters name is Sabrina and ever since I was little I've called her BIA b/c I couldn't say her name... hehe. I know, random.

Loved that show!

Me too! And isn''t it funny when you look back on it and think about how they often scared the living be-jesus out of you?!?! (Sorry for spelling of "be-jesus", I don''t think I''ve ever actually written that out! haha)

Sometime within the last 2 years I caught an episode on and I was like wow, and this scared me?
20.gif
haha. Still good to watch though.

Hehe! I LOVE scary stuff. Seriously. And it sucks that, IMO, the "scary" movies that have come out in recent years are not really scary at all! It takes a lot to scare me.

It was funny, I was watching a movie last week... what''s it called... ugh. The Uninvited and there were some parts that would make you jump... BF wasn''t interested in watching it and so I start it and I see him standing behind me in the reflection off a mirror "not" watching the movie (lol, cuz he said he wasn''t gonna and clearly was) and he jumped so high at one point. Me, I didn''t flinch. lol... it was just hilarious and I still won''t let him live it down that it scared him! hehe. I''m a meanie, what can I say!?!
11.gif

hahaha. that totally reminds me,
I came home early one day from job #2, and didnt tell E. So i open the door SUPER quietly, managed to keep the dog from going crazy, and E still doesnt notice me (he''s on the couch playing video games). so i sneak up behind him, and scare the living poop out of him. i was laughing for 5 minutes.
haha. I am still laughing!! and it was a week ago!!

so no, you''re not THAT mean.

Really? I think the movies that have come out in recent years have gotten reallllly scary. They aren''t that hokey "SCREAM" scare anymore....its all killing sprees in the most horrible way you can imagine! I guess it''s more suspense horror now.

Did anyone see The Stangers? OMG...I was terrified.

Hahaha! I love doing that stuff! Of course, I don''t like it when it''s done to me. Like I said, it takes a lot to scare me but K has pulled it off a few times. And boy, those few times were doozies! Hehe.

The Strangers, OMG, that was actually DISTURBING more than anything to me. Just for the fact that people actually do things like that purely for that reason. (What the lady says to the female leading character in the movie, at the end. --I hope you know what I''m talking about b/c I don''t want to give specifics in case someone hasn''t seen it yet.) Do people have nothing better to do with their lives? Are they that bored?

Ahh, it literally makes my stomach turn!

Man... we''re only half way through the month and we''re already at 21 pages of small talk. Wow.

I think movies lately have gotten "scarier" in the sense that they''re more gross. Like... torture movie. Saw, for example. Those make me sick and they''re not entertaining.

I haven''t see a really good psychological thriller lately. Something that really messes with your head.

Oh definitely more gross. Since when did blood flying everywhere become entertainment? I would love movies with a lot more in depth story line and psychologically stimulating and a lot LESS blood.

It isn't a scary movie or anything but anyone see Taken starring Liam Neeson? AWESOME movie! It had me at the edge of my seat probably for the entire length of the movie. That hasn't happened in quite some time!

The Strangers freaked me out. I ususally don''t scare easily but that movie had me wetting my pants. I was BEGGING FI to turn it off...and then turn it back on...and turn it off again...back on...you know the drill. I was sooooo scared.

Exactly, because it''s something that has actually happened to someone. Elle, SAWs were scary. BUT it''s suspense more than horror I think. You want to figure out who the hell is going to get it 1st, 2nd, 3rd...and who makes it out of the contraptions/riddles.

I hated Saw. It was just nasty. I don''t like watching people suffer, it makes me sick.

For whatever reason I decided to see Saw 2 and hated that one even more.
